My go to place for chicken tenders, you can never go wrong … and ohhhhh that sauce!

You get 2 stars for the chicken strips. Why make such light and crispy strips with juicy chicken on the inside and serve dry, generic Orida fries??? On another note. I went through your drive through today. My bill was $ 15.03. I gave the girl at the drive through a $ 20 bill. I told her I had three cents, but she already put in the number to her register and gave me back $ 4.97. When I gave her the three cents to get back a $ 5, she said«Uuuuhhh, we don’t do that». Lol, don’t do what… count? She went to her manager who told me she couldn’t open the register. Really??? I don’t blame them. The art of counting back change has long gone. No one knows how to give back change anymore. And a three cent curve ball was just too much for either of them.

We love Caines and eat there often. We decided to eat at the Cypress location today. The food was great but many of the tables were not clean. They didn’t have food or trash on them because most people take their tray and trash to the bin upon leaving. The tables were not wiped down. I counted 5 greasy tables. We had to eat at one of those tables. When we were almost finished with our meal we did see a worker come out and wipe the tables. So, it’s not that they don’t clean them, it’s they don’t clean them frequently enough.

Been here a couple of times and both times were disappointing. Limited menu, so they really live and die on the chicken and fries, which unfortunately are both mediocre at best. Crinkle cut fries remind me of being in a high school cafeteria, and not in a good way. Chicken was a little dry both times. They are really proud of their«cane’s sauce» which is a mystery to me as I think it is just a ketchup/mayo mix, pretty horrible. They do have a decent honey mustard, but for bizarre reasons they won’t let you swap out the Cane’s sauce for the honey mustard, charging .30 cents for each container of honey mustard, which their poor tasting chicken needs. Contrast this with PDQ, also in Cypress, which has huge sauce options and will give you as many as you want. Although I did like the Texas toast, a nice touch, I will avoid this place in the future.

Raising cane’s has my heart with chicken. Price wise it’s right on, nothing too excruciating, about what I expect. I don’t love that they charge for extra sauce, but it’s really good sauce, maybe my favourite part. The chicken is pretty good, probably a top 10 in my overall chicken rankings. The only part that hurts them are the gristles. Why must they be in every tender? Mostly unnoticeable, but just can’t seem to get past them sometimes. The fries are okay, better than most. These crinkle cut fries are usually crisp outside and fluffy inside, so that’s 90% of my criterion met. And this location is always friendly, actually quite funny with their rhyming greetings. It’s a very convenient location, but has some stiff competition with PDQ right across now, good luck! z

Came In today for my lunch break and service was alright. I wasn’t greeted when I walked in but that doesn’t bother me really. Food was hot and fresh and perfectly cooked and the wait time wasn’t bad at all either(about 3 minutes). The only problem I had was with one of the managers on duty. He wasn’t rude or anything he just seemed like someone who would be considered a FATGO. Nevertheless it was a good spot for lunch.

To be honest we came in as they were closing and they lost our order but when I asked what was taking so long the manager handled it pretty well by giving us free meal tickets as well as extra food added to our original order.

We ate their Last night. The chicken could use a tiny bit if spice. You probably get that from the dip. Over all it was good. Fried just like I fry. Tastes like homemade. Not another Chic Fila.

Interesting concept having a restaurant be strictly chicken tenders. I’m not a huge fan of them, as I find them boring. I appreciate the story but the actual food didn’t do much for me. They’re known for their sauce, so that itself was pretty good. The texas toast seemed random and unnecessary. Overall glad I tried it, but not my first choice.

I think these are the best chicken fingers you can get. Everything is cooked to order. No heat lamps here. Crispy crinkle fries and excellent Texas toast. I always order an extra Cane’s sauce. There is no need for ketchup at this place. Those Lousiana boys know how to cook for sure.

I have been coming to this Raising Cane’s for over a year now. At first it was fantastic, then a few months later I noticed the quality declining and it was just good. The decline has been steady and I even notice the dining room is hardly ever full anymore, there are always dirty tables and floors and the staff seems to be spending more time goofing off then taking care of business. Tonight I decided to have my husband bring Cane’s home for dinner and I just threw ¾ of the meal. The chicken is so overcooked it is rubbery, the fries are hard as rocks and the bread is barely brown and very greasy. I think I am done with Cane’s.

I doubt we will be back as we don’t get«up north» that often, but if we do, we’re coming here! I love this place! The chicken tenders are huge! This was the day after my half marathon and I still couldn’t eat everything. They did give me an extra tender, and I should have asked for extra bread instead of fries. I did give some of my fries to hubby, but I still couldn’t eat them all. It’s not necessarily cheap fast food, but it certainly is a great value for the price if you’re starving, or think you are anyway! The place was clean and the people were friendly, although when I asked for a different cup because my top was bent and my lid wouldn’t stay on, she looked at me like I was asking for a million dollars. No, I just want to take my soda to go please, and not have it all over my car. The bathrooms were clean, as well, and that’s always a big plus. If you like chicken and carbs, I mean fries and bread, stop here! I don’t like coleslaw, so I can’t comment on that, but everything else is freaking delicious!

Not happy with several things at this location. For starters, the chicken portions are significantly smaller than at other locations. Another thing, I spent nearly $ 16 on a Caniac combo with an extra side of fries and additional tea. When I went to get a refill with half lemonade /half tea I was told the lemonade costs .27 cents extra. Really?!? This location is a joke!

They do one thing — but they do it well — Chicken. Today we were sitting around the office discussing good chicken — Chic-fil-a, Chicken Express, Cains… Each of which I thoroughly enjoy. After bantering around about which was the best, we decided it was time to leave the leftover sloppy joes I had in the fridge for lunch and head to Raisin Cains. Somehow, the chicken is always piping hot and the fries are usually fresh — today was no exception. For on frills, fresh hot and tasty chicken, this is the place.

I’ve had chicken jerkey that was more tender than this. Between the less than friendly staff and overcooked, dry chicken, I’ll go to Chick-Fil-A from now on.

My friend was too embarrassed to write this himself, so I’m posting the following review on his behalf: «The food is great. But one person made it better, and his name is Kevin. I think he’s a manager. He went out of his way to ask if everything was okay. I was in a bad mood. Not having a great day, or week, for that matter. I was sitting alone, staring at a wall. And Kevin came to say hello. No matter how good the food is, when you employ people who care, that takes it to the next level.»

I really do not understand all the great reviews. I have absolutely no issues with the service, staff, location. All were just fine. It’s the food! Extremely bland chicken fingers that come with a sauce that I found kind of nasty. When I got home, I really tried to like it. I did! I finally gave up and threw it away half eaten. If you really like bland chicken fingers, this place is for you. Personally, I’d rather have a McNugget… and I hate McNuggets.

It’s a chicken finger. How the hell can you get so excited over a damn chicken finger? Is it good, sure. Is it great? No, it’s a freaking chicken finger! The Cane sauce is mayo and ketchup and they charge you if you want more than one 2oz container. That is pretty cheap ass to me.

I swear, Raising Cane’s are multiplying like Mogwai. They’re popping up all over the Houston area. Everywhere I look now, there’s another one. Their chicken tenders are good, tasty and moist. They are essentially, chicken tenders for adults. I always go for an extra Texas toast and their special sauce. Their sweet tea is also pretty good. The only question I have for RC’s management… why use so much styrofoam? Styrofoam is used for everything in their stores. Want an extra sauce(already in its own container)? You’ll get it in a styrofoam box.

I don’t see what all the fuss is about. They are no better than Chik-Fillet and frankly the sauce is meh. The customer service is great but it’s not enough to make me go back.

Update: After being open for a while, you would expect service to slide a bit, but not so. Still great service with really fresh chicken. Took 3 kids in there recently and our order was taking a long time. The manager, who was getting ready to meet with some employees, noticed and checked on it. We were not in a hurry so I wasn’t really worried. She gave us gift cards to get the same food for free the next time because the length of time we had to wait was unacceptable to their standards. I was floored. It is that kind of service that keeps me coming back. Once in a while, there will be a few dirty tables because the place is so busy but they do a good job keeping the place clean. I use the drive-thru quite a bit and find it easy to work with. One of my new tips is to order the 6 pc dinner if you have someone to share with, it will save you a little bit. I’ve gotten it before and shared with my 12 year old or 8 year old, everybody’s happy.

When it comes to chicken tenders, seriously these 5 stars are legit! Raising Cane’s really is as good as it gets. $ 7 will get ya a box of 4 tenders, fries, coleslaw, drink and a yummy piece of texas toast! The cole slaw has a funny background taste but other than that, the«box» is a nice, cheap, and fulfilling meal. Other FF restaurants can’t touch the freshness of Raising Cane’s. If I want a quick dinner, this is where I go. It’s worth the extra dollar or so for quality, fresh never frozen meat. If I had to feed an entire family, I’m not certain, it could get a little pricey especially if you’re buying the tailgate boxes of 25÷50÷75÷100 tenders. But one or two people, like Charlie Sheen says #winning.

The only reason I gave this place 4⁄5 and not 5⁄5 is because when it comes to fast food, they can be a little on the steep side. With just two meals ordered and were looking at over $ 20… Conviently located, to me at least since I live out here, by the outbound feeder road of 290 and Fry, this place is a welcomed fresh face to this area when it comes to Fast Food. Usually when I need a quick chicken fix, I either go Popeyes or Chic Fil A, but this place is awesome. The sides are great, coleslaw and fries, and their sauce is super tasty, think it’s like a a tangy/mayo type sauce. And the chicken strips are awesome! Always hot, always crispy, not over battered with enough chicken to fill you up, it’s just right on par. And I am a sucker for dogs, so for the place to me named after the yellow lab mascot, I’m all in with that :)

This is to chicken strips what Five Guys is to burgers. Just like Five Guys has a limited menu and tries to carry it off to perfection, Raising Cane’s does the same with chicken strips. Long story short, if you like chicken strips, fries, and coleslaw(or combination of), you’ll like this place.

Business seems to be taking off well at this new location in Cypress. Traffic in the drive thru and service inside is easy and quick. What’s so special about this place? If you love chicken tenders and crinkle-cut fries. This is it. Chicken tastes fresh. Not frozen. To top it off, their Raising Cane’s sauce is by far the best dipping sauce I’ve had. They charge you for extra sauce, btw. What else, oh their portions are huge. I couldn’t finish my 3 piece. I think I’ll try and opt for the kids meal next time. However, if you have a big appetite, get the box combo. You will be be stuffed! Lastly, I love that they have the crushed iced. It’s the best. Makes your beverage taste so much better.
