I would rather eat Pqd than any other fast food place. However, every single time I do the wait is just too long. I wait about 20 minutes at time which is not fair or reasonable. The food is average

Decided to check this place out because it was new. Interesting concept for a restaurant. I had the chicken tenders. The food and service was ok. I would recommend everyone at least try this place once.

I’ve eaten here twice now and generally try not to form an opinion on the first visit. Glad that I didn’t, or I wouldn’t have been back as I personally wasn’t a fan of the sandwiches the hubby and I tried a couple of months ago. However, went through the drive thru today and ordered the chicken nugget meal for my 12 year old and a crispy chicken salad, tossed in buffalo sauce and with a sub of blue cheese instead of honey mustard for myself. Now, I’d say they are deserving of a 3, maybe even 3.5, on a good day. Food taste/quality– 3 stars. Definitely decent quality food. Not amazing, and certainly not bad. It does seem to be fresh as advertised. I’ll not order another sandwich as we didn’t think they had much flavor. I will order the salad with buffalo sauce again. Again, not amazing, but decent and filling. My son liked the nuggets(though they were small), and we both liked the fries. Service– 4 stars. They aren’t 100% perfect, but are fast and friendly. I like ordering with a person at the window rather than through a speaker. Definite plus. Improvements could include smiling when greeting guests and/or going the extra mile for small things like asking if you want ketchup when someone orders fries. No blunders touring either visit though. They seem to do well in the drive thru. Value– 2.5 stars. Overpriced in my opinion. I understand freshness and friendly service comes with added value. However, the nuggets are small so a growing boy(a thin, growing boy, mind you) needs the large $ 10 meal with fries to fill up for lunch, and the salad came with enough chicken but less than I would think an $ 8 salad at a fast food joint should have. Overall, we rate the place«not bad». Won’t be a super frequent stop, but we’ll be back once in a while.

Lives up to its name! Great dedicated people and amazing quality! However, I don’t like how they try to fill you up with mediocre fries. The actual chicken is expensive, though I keep coming back because it tastes so good.

Best salad I have ever had. If you want quality they don’t disappoint. They have made a loyal customer of me.

Not impressive. There is a crowded chicken scene in Cypress, TX. PDQ is bland and over-priced.

Overall it is very good. The staff is very attentive and will assist if you need assistance ordering. Usually pretty fast and they have drink fountain that allows you to add flavor alike at Cinemark Movie theaters. The fried chicken strips are awesome. We are both of the turkey burgers but they are okay! Give this place a try and eat different stuff each time… You’ll love your purchase and the French fries are awesome!!!

Grilled Chicken strip meals. I’m pretty sure they’re delish. I brought home a few meals for my family. They inhaled them before I could get a bite! Next time, I’m eating mine in the car. Greedy thangs!

Summary– Really good fried stuff. Their other stuff is meh. Food– 3 Stars Their fried chicken tenders are pretty darned good. Their french fries are excellent. The dipping sauces are OK, not enough flavor considering what they say they are(example the sriracha one isn’t even remotely hot, too much cream). The not-fried food is meh at best. The Chicken and Turkey Sandwiches seem to be after thoughts. Service– 4 Stars Super friendly although the drive through has messed up my order 1 of 2 times. Value– 3 Stars Good amount of food for the $ Atmosphere– 4 Stars I like it inside, pretty nicely done.

I ordered the chicken tenders & crispy turkey sandwich combos. Not too fond of the crispy Turkey sandwich batter. The sweet Sriracha sauce is good! Overall decent, but I wouldn’t say stand out from any other place that sells similar items.

Foods decent. The chicken was of good quality. Disappointed with their buffalo sauce because im pretty sure it was nothing more than Franks Red Hot. The fries were very good. It was a very clean environment and the customer service was great. I’ll most likely be back. If i want buffalo wings ill go to Super Chicken in Tomball though, They’re amazing.

PDQ chicken tenders over Canes any day. I found my new chicken haven spot. This place is awesome, from the top notch customer service to the variety of sauces, I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else for chicken. I had the nuggets and it was so delicious. Very moist and fresh tasting. The drink station is awesome as they offer green tea along with the usual sweet tea. My family had the Cali sandwich and grilled chicken sandwich and loved it. Will definitely be back soon! Probably tomorrow.

Never been here before, never heard the name before. Saw the bldg and parking lot was full, so we decided to try something different. Once in side the place was huge, a lot of tables. But only a few people inside. Most of the cars must of been employee and other people parked and went to adjacent restaurants. However, I am very please with the place, friendly staff, quick service. A little noisy, a few small children screaming and yelling and running around. If only all parents watched their children and make them behave in public. Price was good, $ 21 total for my wife and I both got the new Cali Chicken sandwich meal. Very good and the fries were good also but too much salt. You may want to order no salt! Awesome coleslaw too. After we sat down a lot more people came in and the place got jumping and busy. Will come back again. Very happy overall

This restaurant has recently opened and I was near today for lunch so I went. It is a large counter service restaurant that is bright and airy. There was a good lunch crowd in there but it didn’t slow down my order once I decided what to try. After looking at the menu I started to think it was somewhat similar to Chick Fil A so I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich meal that came with fries and a drink for $ 8.65 including tax. The food arrived about 1 minute later(see pic). I went to the self serve drink machines that are the type that serve many flavors and types but decided on the sweet ice tea canisters. The chicken sandwich was on a nice brioche bun and well dressed with tomato and lettuce. I thought it was very good and gave it a 4. The fries were slightly larger than shoestring and nicely salted and hot. A 4 for them too. This was a good meal in a nice atmosphere for a good price. I believe PDQ has a good product here and I will return. Chick Fil A is the best fast food restaurant(IMO) and has been for a long time. They now have some serious competition here especially in the chicken sandwich arena!

I don’t exactly remember what day I came in but it was a great day. We were greeted very well by Jasmine. She was very perky, humorous and just a joy to speak with. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and my boy friend order chicken strips. My sandwich was very simple, though the other girl(not Jasmine) taking my order complicated it and seemed very lost. She may have just came out of training. My sandwich consisted of two buffalo strips and a strip of lettuce from a head one of the cooks had chopped fresh. It was so fantastic. I also loved watching them work the brigade line very well. Everyone was in order and knew their place. I am very pleased with this place. It was five star service but I am giving a four simply because of the young lady who was just confused with the ordering system. Jasmine personally helped me out on the order to correct any mistakes that may have been made. Jasmine topped off the cake! Give that girl a cookie! Will definitely be returning!

This was my first time to PDQ. I went for lunch and the line was nearly out the door. I barely quit moving in the line they were going so fast at the register. I had my food shortly after that and the tenders were so hot I needed a fork to eat them at the start. Go for the Garlic dipping sauce, you won’t be disappointed. I sat at the bar and watched the kitchen work in a mad dash while at the same time being courteous to all of the guests. One of the kitchen managers even took the time to ask how my food was and he came by and cleared my basket and trash when I had finished. He has blonde hair and was the one calling orders, he was a working machine. Held down his kitchen duties, checked on all the guests, and would hop in and help where others needed it. Dude was an Allstar. In the battle of tenders, PDQ will be raising some Cain for the competitors. Should be here to stay. I will be back.

My husband and I stopped by for a late dinner drive thru. He got the tender 3 piece meal with blue buffalo sauce and I got the crispy chicken sandwich. The tenders were awesome and the sauce was especially good. I loved my sandwich it was very filling and fresh. Loved that it was an entire chicken piece and not just tenders on the sandwich. Loved the fries!!! Overall really good, will definitely go again

Just dined at the new PDQ… wasn’t what I hoped it would be. Went through the drive through and the service was great. They take down your name as well as your vehicle type and color to ensure order accuracy(all of which was on the receipt). They do it Chic-Fil-A style where they have a person out by the menu board in order to speed things up. The food was so-so. We tried to chicken tenders with fries and they were alright. Wouldn’t come here again just to have them as I think that the ones at Raising Canes are much better. The fries were ok, nothing really to write home about. For to-go orders, they place the cup in the bag so there is really no way to keep them warm for the short commute back to the house. Make sure you tie the bag so if it falls they don’t spill all over your car. We got bleu cheese and ranch sauces… not much to say here, should have tried a different sauce perhaps as they have many selections. Will dine here one more time to try one of the sandwiches to see how they are. For chicken tenders though, we will stick with Raising Canes or Chic-Fil-A.

First time coming here and I must say this place is amazing. After talking to friends in other states about this place I just knew once I saw them building one here I just had to give them a try. Now I’ve worked at Cfa and Zaxbys in the past so I kind of know a lot about the chicken game. Lol so first walking in the restaurant it was surprisingly very clean and a young lady greeted me as soon as I walked in which was very nice. I came around 10:30 so it wasn’t busy yet I was able to go straight to the counter and place my order. Since this was my first time I wasn’t sure what to order but the young man at the counter was very helpful and knowledgable about the menu I got the fried sandwich and nuggets and fresh lemonade. Man did I make the right decision the food was amazing. I think I found my new favorite chicken spot

PDQISAWESOME! Just came earlier today for their grand opening. It was pretty busy but that didn’t slow them down one bit. I would go so far as to call them the in-n-out of chicken tenders. I’d only heard of them bc my Dallas friend wrote a Unilocal review about them and so I had high expectations. Came inside and of course it was super clean, being that it was new and all. The interior is huge with tons of seating. Made my way to the line which H was about 5 parties deep. There was a nice man who was giving everyone a brief history on PDQ and what they were about. Essentially everything is made fresh, no refrigerators or freezers. The line was quick! Ordered the 3 piece tender with their Chipotle bbq sauce. Got my drink at their drink station and literally within 2 minutes of ordering my food was ready. Hot, crispy and definitely fresh! The prices are definitely reasonable for the amount of food you get and obviously the quality, since it’s not chock full of preservatives. The thing I really liked about PDQ was that they have malted vinegar available. Umm yes please! Doused some on my fries and I was happy as a clam. The chicken was tender and moist. The breading isn’t like a standard chicken tender, it wasn’t super crispy but a semi crisp? I can’t explain it. You’ll just have to try it yourself. I know there’s another location right on i10 as well. Service was fast and friendly. They came around to bus the tables frequently and despite most everyone here looking like they were still in high-school, not a hint of an attitude. On your way out there’s also a neat little hands asking station which is nice since I don’t like public restrooms. The real test is how much of this will hold true after a few months of being opened. Highly highly recommend for quick, convenient, good eats.
