Placed an order online through the app. It had been an hour and still no pizza, so we called the number provided in the email. It was a fax number so I looked up the phone number on Unilocal. When I called to ask about the order status, the man on the phone made excuses about the system being down. Without an apology or any empathy, he basically said it will get here when the delivery guy delivers it, and then hung up. Awful customer service, Papa.

Wow. Just tried to place an order online, system under maintenance, ok I’ll place it over the phone, rude man over the phone arguing with me that the online was not under maintenance. I ask for a deal they have online, argues he can’t give it over the phone, and continues to tell me website is not under maintenance. Just plain rude. I love papa johns but for today I’ll try something else, I’ll just stick to papa johns in my Sam Diego area.

Call Papa John’s to order pizza and other things and got someone who could not tell me what their specials were before I gave them my address. The person was incompetent and ended up not ordering from papa johns and also when asked about the commercial that was just shown on television the girl couldn’t even tell me about that special too and that is what I called about.

Wow I just called and tried to place an order. The man that answered the phone sounded very high and was rude but the worst part was that he hung up on me while I was confirming my order. NOBUSINESSFORTHISLOCATION.

Had the worst experience ever! My husband ordered our five toppings pizza. It did not come the way we ordered it so I sent it back. I went ahead and gave the driver a tip however. The second driver brought my pizza with only two toppings and it was barely warm, we ate it anyway but I was still hungry. I called and spoke with the night manager, she was very professional and offered to make me another pizza the way we had ordered the first one. My husbands phone rings-it says«PaPa John’s» is calling, I pick up the phone — whoever was calling hung up on me-so I called them back. It was the first delivery guy that answered the phone, he said it was ‘the manager who tryed to call me’ when I had asked. He proceeded to tell me that the second delivery guy did not receive payment for the pizza, I told him I paid $ 20 plus a tip to the second delivery guy-he said«well either he is lying or you are & this is not going to come out of my pocket»! Needless to say, my third pizza was never delivered… I spoke with the manager of the store about our Friday night experience Monday morning– he said he ‘would talk to his GM about it and that the GM would call me’… They never did! Unacceptable! I payed $ 20 +2 tips for ONE pizza I didn’t order, it was barely warm, and I got accused of lying and stealing from an employee who would not give me his name when we spoke on the phone… he was highly combative and argumentative over the phone… big-time bad experience!

The pizza is great. In fact, wonderful. However, it may be advantageous to the company to put competent people on the phone when ordering. I ultimately had to hang up on the person.

I placed an online order(apparently there are two very near each other, which I wouldn’t know since I’m near each other). I walked in to pick it up, and was obviously confused when the girl on the register said she didn’t have my order. I told her I was pretty sure it was that location, and informed her that I was given a total and everything online. The guy in the back jumped in and started grilling me about an e-mail I did not receive. I told him I didn’t have one but was told online that it was going to be ready to pick up and he then snapped at me and said«that was an e-mail.» After I reminded him once again, that I did NOT receive an e-mail. He cut me off and very curtly told me «We don’t have any online orders.» I’ve never been treated like that by an employee of an establishment, and for no reason. I’ve also never stormed out of an establishment or written a Unilocal review, but today was just bad enough to make me do so.

I wish I would have tipped the driver more !! Hehad everything I asked for :) Every pizza place I go to doesn’t have something or the other. Dominos doesn’t even have plates, cheese, or red pepper !!! I’ve never ordered delivery from papa johns before I will order again for sure their pizza is goooood! ohh the chicken poppers :) my husband makes the best dipping sauces to go with those I loved them!!! They brought the yummy pizza’s chicken, plates, napkins, red pepper and parm also all the dipping sauces — ranch, garlic butter yum !! plus the homemade spicy bbq, spicy teriyaki etc… Thank you! Johns I will be ordering again

not even worth a one star. I ordered my pizza around 7:10. The works with two extra toppings. I had to call this place around 8:00, and the lady over the phone said«it will be there soon.» Well, I don’t think so. Anyways I got my pizza by 8:30, which is very late for one large pizza, and my pizza was not even made right; it had an only two extra toppings that I ordered. They charged me the same amount. So, I complaint to the manager and the guy made ordered again and brought it to my house by 9:00PM. It took 2 hours to get my pizza. I was hoping to have a little chill dinner with my parents. This papa john’s ruined it. Not going to order a pizza from here again.

I order pizza from this location pretty often with my friends. Sometimes we order online and sometimes we order over the phone. We always pick up our pizza from the location. I’m not sure what the other reviews are talking about. My friends and I have never had a problem with the customer service. The people who work their have always been friendly to us and helpful. They always ask if we need cheese and peppers, plates, silverware, napkins, etc. I’ve been to other locations where you have to ask for those things, but here they make sure you have everything you need. The pizzas I get are always ready pretty quickly and they always taste yummy. This is my favorite place to get pizza. It’s way better than Dominos or Pizza Hut.

I never wrote this last review. I’ve never been here and the review isn’t in a style is write. I’m updating the review to five stars because the previous one star review wasn’t warned. The owner has my permission to contact yell and have both reviews flagged fire removal.

The delivery guy driving the white truck needs some driving lessons. Driving at the back of my car and through the parking lot at 40 miles an hour is an idiot move.

I ordered pizza at about 5:15 for a 7:15 delivery. The pizza was over 30 minutes late. I had company over hungrily waiting for pizza. I called when it was 15 minutes late and the young lady on the phone said, «Yeah, it’s been completed.» Uh… nope, it wasn’t. I asked her when it would be here and she said it would be there soon. 15 minutes later I got my pizza. The garlic sauce had spilled all over my pizza and was leaking through the box. Got any savvy, people? 2 stars just because I like the pizza. The crust isn’t greasy.: /

Gross the cashier collected my $ 12 for a large pizza and then began to kneed the pizza dough with his filthy money hands. I asked for my money back and left. Not clean food. Eek! Methinks not! Not clean food, health inspection report below

I don’t know how this location scores so low on the stars /ratings but it’s an ideal spot with fantastic service. I know in years past there were service issues, but it’s definitely been an upgrade in a last year or so. Most complaints I hear about or see are due to a huge delivery area but that’s hard to handle with this economy & goals from a company numbers stand point but it’s great pizza.

I’ve been to this Papa John’s numerous times over the years, but today was the first time I had ever had a better than usual experience. When I called in to place my order I was happy greeted by Kaitly. In my years of coming here Kaitly had to be the most enthusiastic and polite person I have dealt with on the phone. Also, in my time from ordering on the phone she was the first person to ever ask me if I wanted my pizza on thin crust. I had never had thin crust from Papa John’s, so I thought I would give it a whirl. I drove over expecting to see a nice bubbly personality and that was what I got. Normally I get the meh, I don’t want to be here attitude, but this is either her first job, or just a genuinely happy person. My pizza was ready for me before the 15 minutes she told me and I was out the door. In regards to the thin crust, it’s not as good as Domino’s or Pat & Oscar’s(now O’s) gluten free crust, but it did have more jalapenos than a typical pizza I would get from here. The crust was crunchy, but not hard, which was nice. My large thin crust pizza with pepperoni and jalapenos was $ 10.78, which I think is about average, but not the cheapest. To be honest I’d rather pay more and have good service, then for something cheap dealing with a clown… even if the food is better.

This is the closest Papa John’s to my house so I come here often to pick up my orders. Love using promo codes they send in the mail and ordering pizza that way. It’s ready for pick up in 15 minutes, and when you order online you earn free pizzas slowly but surely. It’s just a little to go place, but it does the job. It’s obviously not anywhere close to the best pizza ever, but it’s decent fast foot. Not as cheap of Little Caesar’s, but I love the side of garlic and peppers.
