Movin’ On

I’ve moved plenty of times and sometimes have had ok experience and sometimes sketchy ones. But Def had a great experience with Movin On. My real estate agent referred me and I wasn’t disappointed. Rosalind was so patient with me after I switched dates multiple times due to things I couldn’t control… thank you! Then moving day, supposed to have 3 men but only 2 men showed up. Ok what the heck… man did they hustle, they worked hard and ended up being a smooth move and not as long as I thought it would be! Very happy with their services. Thank you!

I am a moving expert. My husband was in the Air Force and we moved so many times around the country and the world that I lost track. But I know a great moving company when I experience them and Movin On is that. I had already contracted with a mover and thought everything was settled, but a week before the move my mover cancelled and left me in a lurch. I heard about Movin On from another neighbor who said they were familiar with the idiosyncrasies of the property from which we were moving. They could not have been nicer, more understanding, and totally competent. Darren visited our condo and gave me a realistic estimate (that was significantly less than the prior mover). Our move into our new home was delayed, but Movin On worked with me. They had to store our household goods in a storage facility for a little over a week, then transport and unload at our new home. They were fair, honest, conscientious, and courteous. They were solicitous of my welfare, careful to leave something for me to sit on when moving out and in (in consideration of my advanced age). I cannot say enough about these very nice folks and their excellent service. Roslyn orchestrated the scheduling and Darren and Brian provided very fast and efficient service. I did not lose a single object or find any damage to any of our 45 year accumulation of household goods and memories. Although I hope never to have to move again, if I do, it’s Movin On I will be calling.

I have finally found movers that’s doing a GREAT job!!! Darren and Brian were very efficient. They were very friendly too. I didn’t expect that they will finish the move in less than 4 hours!!! I was about to give up and throw my HUGE cabinet but they didnt give up. I was sooooo HAPPY when they got it in house. They are really experts in doing their job. Thank you so much MOVIN’ ON! Wonderful moving company! Very careful with boxes and very fast. Their quote was also much cheaper than the other moving companies. We would use them again in an instant.

Movin’ On has moved me several times and they are super careful of my furniture, work with you on scheduling, just overall great company. They are the only ones I call when I need moving services that I know I can trust with my property!

First off Rosalyn and Darren are good people. I was referred to them from our friend and realtor. I have to be honest, everything was great until day of. The original 10am start time began with a phone call at 8am saying that they double booked, but would it be ok if we showed up at 12pm instead. Turns out Darren, being the nice guy he is, went to move an older lady whom hadn’t packed any of her stuff so Darren and team packed it all for her. Very nice gesture on their part. Unfortunately, that meant for us that the 12pm start time didn’t actually happen until 4:45pm and we had to be packed up that night. It was my 40^th birthday to top it off and my family was having a dinner for me, which I ended up missing because they didn’t finish packing us up until 9pm when we were originally supposed to be done by 2pm. With that said, Darren’s team still did a great job getting it done in time. It was definitely a rush job and there were a few pieces of furniture that were scratched, so I’m indifferent about this one. I don’t want this review to discourage people from using them because they are good. I just want Movin’ On to be aware of how double booking can have an effect on their clients. At the very least, I felt like I should have been compensated. Best of luck to Darren and Rosalyn, I know they won’t let this happen again.

The owners Darren and Roslyn are professionals, meticulous, honest, and trustworthy. I’ve tried a couple of other movers over the year, and they don’t even come close.
The service is first class, the attention and care is second to none, and the rate is a steal.
They arrive in time. Everything is moved without a scratch. Everyone is polite and professional.
You cannot go wrong with these guys. Rarely would I be so happy to spread the word about a company, but Movin’ On deserves it… and more. They are a company you can trust, and even want to flourish because all American small businesses should be like this.

These are seriously the only movers you should ever hire. Darren and his wife are courteous, kind and professional. I’ve used several movers in the past and have to say they were all unpleasant experiences. I had such a great experience with Darren I would not hesitate to refer him to anyone on the move. The rates are very affordable and honestly, these folks are some of the most genuine, nicest, kindhearted people I have ever met. I actually bumped into Darren a few days ago at our local Ralph’s! Though moving 40 years of accumulated belongings was a daunting challenge, the process went much easier than we had anticipated thanks to the outstanding services provided by Movin’ On. To say they accomplished the move in a timely manner would be an understatement. The movers never took a break and there were times when I actually saw Darren, the leader, running from one location to the other. Really! Backed by his highly efficient team, Darren turned our challenging move into a surprisingly positive and somewhat simplified experience
We were only charged for the 4 ¼ hours that the operation took – no rounding the fee out to the next half-​hour. Years ago when I employed a large interstate moving company, the process was stressful and did not compare to Movin’ On efficiency. The interstate workers were not as detailed-​oriented, careful or fast in spite of the fact that the dispatcher, an acquaintance of mine, said she was sending me her best employees. In short, Movin’ On was far superior. I doubt that it is possible to find movers who are more efficient, courteous and professional than those of Movin’ On. They are the benchmark standard for which all moving company should be compared. I recommended them without reservation.

You can trust Cynthia and Darren Roth for your moving needs. I upgraded to a bigger apartment unit in the same complex, but had to move by the weekend. It was really short notice, and I had never used a moving service before. I’d heard all kinds of not-​nice stories, of course, so I decided to play it by ear. I was kind of edgy because the other movers I had called gave me the impression that they were giving me the run-​around. When Cynthia took my call, she immediately put me at ease. She said they were fully booked for the weekend, but that there was a chance they could handle my request if I didn’t mind an evening move. And although it was late, Darren came that same night to check out my needs. Right on first impression, he struck me as being honest and expert at his job. We agreed on a moving date — and time — as well as the charges that Cynthia had filled me in on previously.
Moving day came, and Darren was there right on time with his truck and 2 helpers. They even provided «wardrobe boxes» with hanger poles, and would have done all the packing for us if we had wanted to. They moved the refrigerator, 52-​inch plasma tv, sofa set, and all our sundry furniture from our 2^nd floor unit to the new (also 2^nd floor) unit. Their moves were «by-​the-​number», they knew exactly what they were doing. NOT A SINGLE SCRATCH on the fridge, plasma tv, and sofa set. No scratches on the apartment walls, either. They moved EVERYTHING in the time they estimated. Well, they went a little over, but only because they did a little more than what we had agreed on. In spite of that, Darren very honestly calculated the overage down to the minute! I was happy to pay him more than he asked for. I mean, you could see that he and his guys were panting because they had been rushing to meet their self-​imposed deadline!

Movin’ On was very polite and courteous on the phone, and on the day of our move, Darren showed up and literally moved faster than anyone I’ve ever known. They took great care of our belongings and again, I can’t even begin to describe how quickly they worked. They had our home empty, truck packed and engine running within a couple of hours. They were very reasonably priced, and I have no problem recommending them highly!
