2001 Ford Expedition with 188K miles. AC had been losing Freon. Had it recharged with dye to determine leak location. 30 days later determined compressor was wore out. Replaced compressor and high side. Picked up vehicle and is was cooling great, but it was making a whine sound that duplicated the RPM of the engine. Took it back and they replaced compressor, same sound remained. They worked further to isolate /​relocate the cooling lines that were causing noise. Cools great, and purrs like a kitten. I appreciate them continuing to work on the noise without hesitation and repaired to our satisfaction. Thank you Javier!

Terrible from start to finish! Brought my car in because my check engine light came on and Mckay’s was close to the house-​BIG mistake! After BS’ing a $ 125 «diagnostic check» to tell me why my light was on, they concluded the repair was roughly $ 700. Since they already had me for the $ 125 I reluctantly allowed them to fix it for the quoted price. When the repair was complete I took my car home only for the check engine light to come on again the next day. I took it to O’riley to have the code read and it was the same problem-​brought it back and they said the part they put on was bad and «fixed» it again only for the light to come on the next day AGAIN! Same problem! This time they say «oh the part was defective» (again? really? where are you getting your parts, guys?) but says they will give me a free inspection once they complete the final repair. When I go to pick it up a third time, there is an additional charge of $ 150.00(are you kidding me!!!) and the inspection has not been done. When I ask why, the guy behind the counter claims their machine is down!!! HOW convenient!!! So I say, just call me when you get it up. He says well we can run our machines to see if its ready but you’ll have to go somewhere else for the inspection. As if their machine in irreparable. WOW! They are liars, cheats and apparently not very good mechanics!!! BEWARE!!!

Very professional, affordable. Went there recently for car inspection. Appreciated the complimentary donuts in the waiting area which was ample and clean.

I went in for my check engine light and it was 100 $ for a diagnostics, which I think is too much. They told me I had two issues with the car which is fine I understand. I had them fix one of the issues. They called me to tell me my cars ready later that afternoon, I went to go pick it up. I walked in with a coupon because I wanted to save some money and the stores manager, Brian, said I’m sorry sir I already have your invoice written up I can’t apply the coupon to the price. And I said «really… Why not?». The worst lie I’ve ever heard. He said” oh because my systems not set up to do that, after we totaled everything I can’t apply the coupon.” He said I should’ve showed him the coupon before hand. That’s bullshit! So if your looking for an honest place to go to don’t come here, because I know for a fact he could’ve easily took the coupon. I will not be going back to this place. I’ll take my business somewhere else.

Brought my car in for the «Free Second Opinion» they advertise. Right away I was told to have my car looked at, it would cost me $ 99.95. I asked if that fee would be waived if I approved repairs and decided to have my car repaired with them, and I was told «No, that money goes to pay the technician for his hour of service to look at your car.» So much for that «Free Second Opinion». Oh, wait… that’s only if you have a written diagnosis from another shop (which I did), so they type in exactly what the other shop said was wrong with my car to give me an estimate, but they did not guarantee that would fix the problem because there may be something else that the other shop missed. So where’s the «Free Second Opinion»!!! To top it off, they wanted $ 450 MORE than the other shop!!! Think I’ll go elsewhere for repairs. Oh, and while you’re working, you shouldn’t complain about where you currently work and how you need to find another job. Very unattractive and unprofessional.

I brought both my vehicles in for an oil change. When I drove out my oil light was on and they only put 5 quarts of oil in my car which needed 8 quarts. They quoted me a price and offered me a coupon and when I paid they said they gave me the price with the coupon but they didn’t. I will not go back.
