Dr Chong is the best dentist I have ever had by far. He explains everything & makes sure you are very comfortable. He’s very efficient & gentle. I used to dread going to the dentist but Dr Chong makes it enjoyable & always puts me at ease. I’m so glad I finally found Dr Chong!

Okay, we DONT enjoy Dentists, right? well that was until my husband and I found Dr. Darryl Chong, and Marie, wow, they are an awesome team, gentle, friendly, reasonable and very caring! most Dentist try «up-​selling», high cost repairs, these guys are like old fashioned Dentists they take care of what needs to be done, but they dont sell you something you dont need! who doesnt like honesty? integrity?

Does anyone really enjoy going to the dentist? I can’t say that I’m a big fan of it but when I do need anything done I go see Dr. Chong. He pulled all 4 of my wisdom teeth and I can’t complain with the results. Very professional and got got a personal phone call to see how the recovery was going. Teeth Cleaning is fast and easy.

Tried to over charge me without verifying it with my insurance. I had to personally call my insurance provider to figure out how much to pay. I can’t comment on how good they they are because I didn’t do my procedure with them. So unprofessional!

I have been going to this dentist for years and was really happy with his service and the office ladies are just great. I just love Gabe. He is very honest However I had a back tooth that was hurting all the time and I asked him to pull it. He would not. He did a root canal and put a crown on it. Two weeks later I was in so much pain I wanted the crown off Something was wrong As soon as the crown came off the pressure was relieved but he found a cavity in the tooth and fixed it. Two years later I am in awful pain again. This time I go to another dentist and get it pulled. The dentist said the root canal «failed». He wanted to do another. Dentist have failed me trying to make money off every procedure. 4yrs of needless pain-​$ 5.00 to pull, $ 600 for a crown. Do what the customer wants

I have been going to Dr. Hegde for a very long long time and I have to tell you if you are looking for a dentist that is HONEST then this is the place for you. I was the lucky one in my large family to be the Guinea Pig and i have been to a lot of dentist back when i was young! I tell you when i found them it was so wonderful to find someone who cares about you and tells you what is going on when they are working on your mouth. The Staff Gabby and Judy you could not ask for better people to have help you while you are having work done they are like my family since i have gone to them for so long. Dr. Hegde has a wonderful out look and is very up to date on all the new dental equipment plus he has been doing this for a long time. But the one thing about him is that he is truthful and tell’s you how it is and if he can fix it he will of not he will give you the options of what you should do this is what i love about him. He is very affordable. Lets put it this way i got a dental insurance and they sent me to someone and i was told i needed a lot of work and i thought no way and i left i went back to Dr. Hegde and i was right i did not need what they had told me. Thats whats wrong with some of these dentist they want a fast buck no matter if you need it or not. I highly recommend Dr. Hegde to everyone.

I have been coming to this practice for about a year or more now. I always see Dr. Chong for my cleanings. He is the nicest dentist I have ever had and always asks if I am doing okay. The ladies at the front desk are always super friendly and always answer any of my questions so it’s always easy making appointments.
I came in today to have my top wisdom teeth removed. Let me tell you I was very nervous because I was asleep when I had my bottom wisdoms taken out and I had no idea what would happen.
I came into the office and Dr. Chong sat me down and explained the process to me and told me how long it might take. He said 5 – 45 minutes depending on each persons case. He swabbed me with numbing gel and I couldn’t even feel the Novocaine needle!
He was very gentle and took his time to make sure I was doing okay along the way.
I am not going to say I didn’t feel anything, because why wouldn’t you if you’re having two giant teeth being yanked out, right? But I can say that if there was a way to make it go by faster and easier, he did it.
After the procedure, he explained what I needed to do post-​op. Before leaving the office he also told me they would give me a call later in the day to make sure I was doing okay. Sure enough, Dr. Chong called me form his own cell phone checking up on me!
The only downfall I can say is it in in the corner of a small plaza. Don’t judge a book by its cover! I will never change my dentist if I don’t have to!

Ok folks, here’s my Top 10 reason why I enjoyed this practice:
1) Professional staff: from the receptionist to the doctor, they were all kind, courteous and helpful.
2) Affordable: and they took my insurance too, so that helped!
3) Clean/​safe location: located in the city of Cypress and across from Cypress College. They have ample parking and it is well lit too.
4) Kid friendly: when I walked in, I noticed the waiting room with some toys, so it’s nice to see that they cater to people of all ages.
5) Updated equipment: at first, I was nervous when Dr. Chong activated this strange apparatus that I’ve never seen before, but apparently, it is the updated version of the manual hook from back in the day. Relieved to see that they are ahead of its time and invest in high-​tech equipment.
6) Smooth operation: the cleaning and X-​ray was a speedy operation. The doctor and assistant were attentive throughout the procedure and made me feel comfortable. Truly felt like a spa massage for my teeth.
7) Great, healthy teeth: your future will be in great hands for a long time, folks. In life, people search for their soul-​mate and the same should be said for their doctors. In general, it is a major challenge to seek high-​quality, trusting and affordable doctors, but another challenge we face is their longevity. We may find great doctors, but come to find out they will retire in 5– years. With Dr. Chong, we will not experience this. He is young and I figure he has 30 – 35 years left in him, so I am confident my teeth will be intact through my lifetime. No dentures for me! :D
8) Proximity to work and freeway: logistically, it is close to all the freeways, so the driving distance was pleasant.
9) Great environment: I truly enjoyed the environment at this practice. It was warm, diverse in demographic, and the camaraderie and chemistry was a great scenery. You can tell that this practice cares about its patients and does not treat people as a number or business. Hope you guys will be around for many decades to come.
10) Frostbites Crepes & Frozen Delights: it’s a few doors down, so go treat yourself to some awesome dessert afterwards and put your teeth to good use. :)

Best Dentist I’ve Had.
I hadn’t been to a dentist in awhile because I kept finding myself getting stuck with bills that were out of my price range, and then I found Dr. Chong. Not only are his prices very affordable, which is important to me seeing as I lost my dental insurance, but he is also extremely efficient, great at what he does, and just an overall pleasant human being. I always come out of the dentist chair, feeling confident that I have been well taken care of, and that I’m not going to have to pay for such a great & easy service.
I highly recommend!
