We opened our doors to the Cypress community in September 2012. At Cypress Dental Group and Orthodontics, we are committed to understanding and meeting your needs as a dental patient. We are located on the southwest corner of Hwy 290 & Spring Cypress, near Lowe’s and Wells Fargo Bank. We accept most insurance plans and we look forward to meeting you.

Excellent dentist! Dr Diaz was knowledgable and great with my children. The equipment was all top notch making X-​rays and evaluation very easy and comfortable. Each dental chair has a television to view your x-​rays as well as watch TV while waiting. The staff was great!!!

I deeply regret having my daughters ortho treatment here. This has been an awful experience. She is on her 4th orthodontist since getting her braces. They change every 6 months or so. Each doctor has a new «plan» for her treatment which contradicts the previous doctor and delays treatment. She is already a year delayed from the original «plan». It’s impossible to get appointments that work with a busy schedule (they tell you when to come) and don’t even think about changing an appointment or you will be waiting another month to be seen (again, delaying treatment). The ortho staff is only there once a week so everyone in braces is squeezed into one day, hence the lack of flexibility and long wait times. One time they called me the day of our appointment & told me we had to come 2 hours earlier because the appointments before us were not filled and the doctor was not going to wait around for our later appointment. Are you kidding me? Please, run from this place. It’s horrible.

They change your Ortho med way and cancel our appointments twice on the day of the appointment due to over booking! They can’t seem to keep the same dentist or Ortho for more then a year! I will be glad to be done with this place!

Having my daughters braces put on here was one of the biggest mistakes we’ve ever made. The turnover in employees (i.e. Dentist and Orthodontist) is outright ridiculous. I believe we have seen 4 Dentist and going on our 3rd or 4th Orthodontist in two years. The admin staff is greatly lacking in organization. They schedule appointments then call to reschedule or cancel quite a bit. When the late day for the Ortho is on a Thurs & we have an apt scheduled and receive a call to say the late day is changing to Mon., we are then told the next available is 2 months away. This has been a nightmare experience for our family. There have been two Dentist which speak poor English which doesn’t sit well with me; making matters worse, there has been one Dentist with a consistent odor problem.
Even if their services were free, it still wouldn’t be worth it. The only thing consistent is there never seems to be a shortage of clients waiting to be seen that are complaining about the same things we have experienced ourselves.

The actual work is really good. I don’t like the fact that the people are not consistent for cleanings. The main reason I am giving a low rating is due to the lack of organization regarding my husbands dental work plan. It was 3 equal payments spaced out monthly. We found out that the servicing company was collecting as well as Cypress Dental Group. This created a refund of $ 179. I am understanding that things happen, but they are telling me know that there is an 8 week wait period to get my money back. To me, they wouldn’t wait 8 weeks for their money. This seems like an archaic practice especially when it’s not our fault.

Overall I am very pleased with the orthodontic and dentistry work that my family has received here. The orthodontist did change midway through her braces, but the replacement was great. Overall the staff was great. When the first business manager left there was a disconnect though. That all has been smoothed over.
They are open all the time and they can schedule you pretty easily. Will you have a 10 am appointment and not see a dentist until 10:30? Absolutely, it is a dentist office still, so set your expectations accordingly.

The office is very clean and the staff is nice, though there does seem to be an issue with turnovers. My problem with this office is their lack of communication and love of canceling appointments. I had scheduled a cleaning with them, only to be called a week before the appointment to be asked if I was going to be making an appointment for cleaning because I was due. This confused me as I knew I had an appointment, but apparently their new hygienist had a different schedule, so I had to get a new appointment. Then they cancelled my wisdom tooth extraction a week out because the oral surgeon had to go out of the country. It had been difficult to get this appointment as I work nights and weekends and make my schedule months in advance, so it was very frustrating to get cancelled on so close to the appointment. I don’t think I would use this dental office again.

Very friendly staff and have always been treated good there. However I don’t like that each time I have gone there is different staff. That is very non personable. It’s like going to a new dentist each time. I would like to see a dentist and staff that I can get to know. Other than that it is a nice office and friendly staff. Will search for a new place with more permanent employes.

This is absolutely the worst practice group ever. My family and will never come back here again. The doctors change every 6 months and the staff are never the same. It’s almost as if you are going to a different office every time. My other issue is the wait time. Came in for a 7am appointment and didn’t get seen until almost 7:40am for a basic checkup, x-​rays and a cleaning. Total patient time was about 15 minutes and I left the office around 8:20am. They also have changed my appointments almost every time, and one instance, didn’t even put my appointment in their system. The prices for services are questionable as well. My wife and I have the same dental insurance and we were charged 2 different fees for the fluoride treatment. There are a lot of other dentists in the area so I will look for another one.

Went in for a general cleaning and was very pleased with the service provided. The staff is very friendly and make the visit a very pleasant one. Made appointment that same day for my kids and when i took them they were very happy with the experience.
