Went in for a smog check and it couldn’t have been easier. I was in and out in no time. People who helped me out were friendly and quick. The price was very fair and it was just a great experience overall!

I’ve been going here for more than 20 years and intended to write a review a long time ago.
This place has always been honest & the prices are reasonable. The owner Namat will even give you free advice over the phone. I highly recommend Cypress Auto to anyone who needs care repair services. I drive here from Mission Viejo; and it’s definitely worth the drive.

Satisfaction is the word when i let CYPRESS AUTO/​NAMAT to fixed my 2002 BMW-​X5 the front brake rotors and ceramic brake pads. Finally i am driving now without vibration on my steering wheel. .after all Namat installed the german made rotors with a reasonable price of 298 dollars all inclusive LABOR, PARTS, SALES TAX… and most of all he showed me the damaged rotors, pads, sensors. .surely I’ll be back to fix some other issues with my BMW-​X5 soon to NAMAT.

Had my car towed here because it was AAA approved with a pretty solid 2 year warranty on work completed there. Service at the counter was great, just turned off by the $ 110 charge for an estimate. Very glad they told me up front before they took a look and I took my car elsewhere.

Smog check was pain free! Owner seemed honest and thorough. Price was competitive, I appreciated that I was quoted one price over the phone and when I got there, that was the price that I got! As a girl, I’m always very skeptical about getting my car serviced anywhere but this was a very good experience. I told my husband all about it and I think we’ll be returning for more repairs in the near future. :)

An honest, skilled mechanic — a very hard thing to find these days. Namet, the owner has a large following of loyal customers because he fixes *whats wrong* with your car, and fixes it right. So often he’ll even talk you out of something your think you need to spend money on! He only wants to fix your car, and fix it right. His staff is skilled and friendly, and the place is spotless.

Should have gone here. My sister-​in-​law recommended this placeand his prices were good. I went with another guy that my brother-​in-​law recommended. I really wanted to go here but the othet guy was cheaper (I’m not working). Just go here. They don’t outsource. (At least for what I needed.) My brother-in-law’s guy had an outsourcer go on vacation and it was gonna cost me more than double. Very stressful and not cheaper in the long run. SMH at myself for being stupid.

Cypress Auto is the only place I bring in my vehicles for inspections and repairs. I’ve been dealing with this friendly, high-​quality service for more than 15 years, and they always are fair and honest, and do excellent work without any issues. I’ve recommended their shop to several of my friends, and they are happy with the work they perform as well.

i work across the street from this place & heard such good things. i referred my boyfriend to them to fix his GTI & namat (the owner) went out of his way to order the part needed & fix my bfs car. not only was it a fast fix, but he topped off my coolant on my car for free! dont mess w/​auto places that will charge you an arm & a leg, take the time to go here!

Most of us have had bad experiences with mechanics, especially if you don’t know that much about cars, like me. However, this is not one of those places, I am happy to say. Namat is the most honest guy I’ve ever dealt with in terms of estimates and things of that nature, and they have a friendly staff there, too. A specific story I can tell is that I had my car break down on the way to Las Vegas a couple of years ago, just north of Fontana on the 15 freeway. I had the car towed to the nearest repair shop in Fontana; turns out a new clutch was needed. My car was a ’99 Toyota Camry. Even not knowing much about cars, I figured, OK, this is a basic car, and I figured it would cost anywhere between $ 300 – 600 The place gave me an estimate of $ 1200! I was obviously upset but I was in an area that I didn’t know and I wasn’t quite sure what to do. So I called Namat. He confirmed with me that their price was outrageous, and I asked what his estimate would be, and he said just over $ 400 or so. What ended up happening is that a friend of mine found a place in Fontana nearby that got good Unilocal reviews, and I ended up staying overnight in Fontana while they worked on my car the next morning. The total price was $ 415. The point I’m trying to make is that I was in a tough jam, couldn’t have the car towed all the way back to Cypress from Fontana, and even though Namat knew that in this instance I wouldn’t be bringing my car to him for business, he nonetheless wanted to give me the best information he could. And he wasn’t just trying to usher me off the phone; we talked for a few minutes. He’s an honest guy and they do good work at Cypress Auto, and I would recommend them to anybody.

I had brakes done by them, the owner requested different (harder material) pads then recommended. Within the first week, after driving to work and back my brakes started to make noises, the owner said it was because of the pads they were too hard for the rotors so he suggested paying for new rotors and that he was going to charge me for the material only. After shopping for «new» rotors on my own I found out they do not cost the price they were charging me. This is not my first time taking it to this garage and yes they have done good work before. I think since it just both of them they are getting burn out. and maybe in need of extra money, therefore charging a bit extra on the customers.
I ended up doing my own brakes; fixed the grinding and sqeeky noise. Sad to say I am looking for a new mechanic

Everytime i have a car problem i always go here in cypress auto. Nice People, affordable and its not pack unlike the other auto shope very nice people!!! love it! i recommend this shop to all my friends and relatives
