Barker Cypress Car Wash

Went to get my oil changed and inspection. They pull your vehicle up and leave the keys in with the vehicle running and the door open, so I did not notice until I got home that there was oil all over everything. Oil on the door, my keys my mirror, the window, the garage door opener. I tried cleaning it myself, until I noticed it was on the upholstery. When I got home I had to put that baby down for nap so I waited and called them after her nap to talk to them. I was basically called a liar but they said they would look at it if I brought it back. Saying it was not possible to get oil in all those places. And that she was clean and only one who touched the inside of my van– not true– saw at least 3 different people inside my van. I took it back and as soon as I pull up they say oh no can’t be oil, that’s coffee. How did I get coffee on my ceiling? You can even SMELL that it’s oil. Now the entire van smells like gasoline. I wouldn’t have had such a problem, but basically calling me a liar instead of handling the issue is what ticked me off.

Not to happy with them I checked in on Unilocal and they say I can get 25% off But he would not do it cuz he had rung me up already I think that chicken shit.

This place is great. Very quick, very thorough, and reasonably priced. I use it fairly often and they’ve always done a great job.

I really appreciate that they explain the cost associated and how long it will take as soon as I pulled up. Also got a free car wash for getting my oil changed. Really happy with the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. Will definitely come back here! All said and done it only took about 20 minutes for oil change AND car wash.

This is a sleepy car wash. They are understaffed and take longer on your vehicle. Overall they did an average job on my truck. I will try again and see if they have improved.

This car wash is under poor management and the employees are clueless about everything. The oil change tech climbed in my truck with black grease covered hands and ruined my upholstery then proceeded to forget to replace the oil in the vehicle after draining it, the cashier is rude and non-​attentive, and the car washers do a poor job with an immature attitude along with turning the vehicle radio to loud rap music. I would recommend staying away from this nightmare of a place!

This review would have gone in a totally different direction if I wouldn’t have brought up a conversation w/​nice lady at register. 1^st, desperately needed a car wash & to my delight they also do inspections. I only have electronic copy of proof of insurance & was told to go print it. REALLY, you r telling a paying customer to LEAVE in today’s techno age? Then when I asked the price of the least expensive car was he said 7.99. It was 12.99. I know it’s not a lot of money to loose but how many pp is this employee turning away daily? Doesn’t he understand his job is dependent on business coming in, staying, & returning???

This place is the worst place ever never again and I don’t even know why I come where again this is my second time I came here a few years ago when they first opened and had a bad experience and this time they forgot to vacuum my car HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU NOT VACUMM THE CAR and they didn’t even apologize they just laughed … Ridiculous

Terrible customer service. Took forever because they were short handed. Asked to get my car back before going through wash and I was told no refunds. Even for their terrible service.

Stopped in for a simple oil change and filter change. Took over an hour and left with over 100 $ tab. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I guess my fault for not asking but figured the last time I got a oil change by my office it was 40 so I thought maybe with a filter 60. But 100 $you have got to be kidding me Will never be back.
Only positive the young lady working the register was really nice but that only goes so far.
Save your self the $$$$ and stick with jiffy lube or your local shop. What a joke. I should quit my day job and open one of these if the going rate is 100 for a simple oil change. And no it was not synthetic oil. Just regular 5000 mile oil for a f150. Nothing fancy.
The one star is for the clerk not the place.

Wow!!! I showed up to get a complete detail. 150 dollar package and I got turned away. Did you hear that they turned me away. Customer service out the window. Get this… The reason… They close in an hour and they can’t get it done in an hour so they would rather not do it. Unbelievable. So I went down to spring cypress where they actually have a FULL SERVICE car wash. They said they will stay as long as it takes. That’s customer service. I will NEVER come back to this place and I will be sure to tell EVERYONE I know to NEVER come here either.

39.99 plus another $ 12 for a standard oil change, plus fees and what not almost $ 60 for an oil change. The girl at the front had no clue what was going on. I will not ever come back here. No wonder there’s no one at this place.

First visit… not again. I took my daughter’s car to get it cleaned for her. I had to send it back to get the small rocks someone missed on the driver side.
While was waiting for them to finish vacuuming it for the second time, I noticed the front license plate was bent to hell and back! The plastic frame around it was broken in half. The guy just bent license plate back and told me to just get another frame and it’ll be okay. (Really-​Do you own this car)
After I got home my kids told me there was still dirt in the back. Are you really kidding me, $ 20 plus tip and that’s what I got! I could’ve done a better job — next time I will.
Here’s my tip… Save your money don’t go here.

Normally I love coming here for my SUV… There is a guy that always does a fantastic job on my SUV… Today however this little lady decided she was going to take my SUV and be speed racer in it!!! Excuse me, but it is not your vehicle to be driving all crazy… It really upset me that here I was, standing right in front of her and she’s tearing up the parking lot driving my truck like she stole it. I don’t appreciate someone treating my truck that I worked very hard for as if it were just a pile of junk. Not cool.

I went in to get my car cleaned with the super clean package, my leather seats cleaned, and a state inspection on a very overcast day where they had very little business. I dropped my car off at 2pm and got a call at 4:45 that it was done. When I arrived the outside of my car was still dirty and when I opened my door the seats looked amazing from the leather cleaning but everything else was still not clean. I had to have the person that cleaned my car come back and clean out the cup holders in the back seat. Wipe down the dash and the doors because they were still dirty. The man was aggravated and told me they are «about to close» where I told him that I understand that and they have had my car for almost 3 hours and if they couldn’t get everything done in that time then they shouldn’t have taken my car. (Again it was a very slow day for them) I feel like I got taken advantage of and although I have another free wash because I got my state inspection with them I think I will be passing it on to someone else so I don’t have to go back again.

Well; I have used this car wash several times and have not been real impressed on any of my visits. I must say I’m very disappointed with my most recent visit. The reviews i read seemed positive however after a $ 40 dollar investment, not only did they not bother to wipe the soap dripping off the back bumper (until I pointed it out). They wiped down the windshield (left streaks and dirt everywhere) but, the side windows where not even touched. The interior wipe down (that I had to pay extra for) still had spots all over the instrumentation, the specific reason i paid for the upgrade and they did not clean it. My Front Chrome bumper was not even wiped down. Later in the day, i took my wife’s car down the street to «Rain Forest Car Wash» and had an awesome experience. it was 7 bucks cheaper and they did an AWESOME job. Granted it took longer but, they where extremely throughout inside and out… do yourself a favor, don’t go to Barker Cypress Wash, save yourself a few bucks for a far superior job and drive down the street a mile to Rain Forest. I will not be going back to this one. I have pictures to upload of the job they did but not sure how to attach them to my review.

After not realizing this place was here for 3 yrs, I took my truck in for a full detail. Granted the truck was in need of love inside, I was upset to get it home (after paying over $ 120) to find my passenger seat still dirty and they used so much tire shine on the tire that the ride home splashed the shine all over the truck. It’s not the worse job ever on my truck but for the dollar amount I’d rather go to Copperfield Car Wash, pay less and the job is about as good (if not better).

Excellent car wash especially for the price. I used the online coupon for a discount on the gold wash. My car was filthy from being shipped down from WA. The service was good. Inside waiting area available that was clean. It was busy when I came but the wait was still only about 20 – 25 minutes. My husband got his truck washed & state inspection sticker on another day with also a quick wait time. It’s right down the street from us which is convenient. Will be back again!

Looks like a great carwash from the outside. Very clean. Big location. However once you get there everything takes a turn. They charge an «up charge» for basically anything other than a small car. Our midsize SUV recieve an oversized charge, despite being the same size or smaller than most cars. Seems understaffed for the the volume they were doing. Pack a lunch because you aren’t going anywhere for a while. I mean the car was clean. Which is what really matters right? But too expensive with the extra charges. I will try one of the other 50 carwashes within a mile of here next time.
