I love this place! I love the outside patio area and I swear every time I am here I have amazing service from the wait staff! They have $ 1 mimosas and $ 3 Bloody Marys on their brunch menu! Not to mention the food is absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend this place

The best/only place I recommend to hang out in the Cypress area. You can get good food after hours here. Live entertainment is always on point. Great place to have a party.

This is usually our default spot for a place to hang out in cypress. We stopped in last night after leaving mo’s and actually hadn’t been here in a good month or more. The whole atmosphere has changed and we weren’t impressed. There was only one person working behind the bar that we recognized from any other time we’ve been there. We had drinks and ordered the Mac and cheese bites and the zucchini fries. Mac and cheese bites were still good as always but the zucchini fries weren’t. The breading was so thick and just fell off as soon as you touched them. The zucchini was so soggy and didn’t taste great. Because of the atmosphere we decided to leave and asked for a box for the apps and the bartender gave us this very flimsy box that actually broke by the time we got to the car. Seems like this place is cutting costs all around.

The food was amazing and drinks superb perfectly crisp fish and sides to make the dead want to eat again I would rate it more but the speed of serving is a bit slow.

I wouldn’t normally have come to Cypress but a pretty girl and I had plans to meet here and get a drink on Saturday morning. I was hungover as I walked into the pub and I walked straight to the bar. The bar back was washing glasses in the sink. «I can’t help you, I’m not the bartender,» the bar back said. «I know, you’re the bar back,» I said. We looked at each other puzzled. The bartender showed up, and made me an inexpensive mimosa. The defining feature of this mimosa was that it was inexpensive. Drink in hand, I stared at my phone until the pretty girl arrived. She was wearing a red plaid shirt and leggings. I had seen her wear this outfit before, and I began to question her fashion choices. Did she always wear the same outfits? Maybe she only had a few outfits. Oh God, she’s poor! But I’m poor. Can both people in a relationship be poor? Maybe there’s government assistance for couples that are poor. «She’ll have a mimosa,» I said. The bartender looked at Amy. «I’ll have a mojito,» Amy said. «That’s $ 8 plus tax!» I thought. I sipped my $ 2 mimosa slowly. I saw Amy reach for the food menu and my palms began to sweat. «How about some fries?» I offered. «Oh yum! Eggs Benedict!» she said. $ 12.95 the menu read. My heart began to palpitate. «Oh, sounds good,» I lied. «One Eggs Benedict and a plate of fries please.» The defining feature of the French Fries were that they were inexpensive. The Hertz ketchup it came with was free. That’s the great thing about ketchup. We ate our food and finished our drinks. We made small talk. She liked the mimosa, but she wasn’t much of a drinker and I could see the alcohol had worked its magic on her five foot one, 95 pound body. Amy’s eyes softened and she smiled sleepily at me. «Here’s your chance you idiot,» I thought. «Kiss her!» I kissed her. She laughed. Probably not the optimal reaction when you kiss someone. But she looked beautiful and I didn’t care. «Do you want to watch a movie?» I asked. She agreed. I paid and we left. I don’t remember the bill but I’m hoping a federal subsidy will help me pay a portion of it. But, good pub, this place. I got a kiss out of it.

My first time here I had the waitress Shelby, she was awesome. Very attentive and always right on time not to mention polite. The atmosphere was relaxing, I went around 8⁄9 and they had a live band setting up. The drink machine was down so we had two mango margaritas on the rocks which were okay nothing spectacular. I got the Baja pulled pork tacos, I didn’t really like them but I did love the macaroni bites. I give it a 3 star because it’s okay, it’s not bad and it’s not amazing it’s alright.

Poor service. Sadly it seemed as the staff was undermanned on a Saturday night. I sat around for around 40 minutes and never received my order. I had to leave the pub with nothing.

There is a reason this is the lowest rated location of all their chains. Here on a Sunday and it’s dead for a good reason despite the fact it’s the only pub/sports bar in cypress. After seating ourselves took over ten minutes for anyone to greet us then 25 minutes after that we finally got our food. I always get the fish and chips at this chain. Normally they are great. Today at this location they were inedible. I asked for a manager told there wasn’t one here. I suspect my server was the manager but who knows. Then asked for my bill which came promptly. Should not have let my server leave without my card because she disappeared again for ten minutes.

Great food, great drinks… But they cut me off. I wasn’t driving. Nor was I being crazy, I was making jokes w my friends and asked for one last shot. I was denied. I’ve never been denied or CUTOFF. WHich is why they only get 3 stars. If you drink… Do so quietly and unAmerican. I won’t come back. Embarrassed and uncalled for. The manager didn’t even talk to me about it. I’m very disappointed.

Went with several friends after an event for a beer and late night sandwich. This was my first time there. The band was really good and the overall ambiance is nice too. The waitress got the beer order wrong, took everyone’s(5 people) order and walked off never asking me for mine. The place wasn’t that crowded. Going to write that off to in experience. The turkey club was outstanding while the tacos others bought seemed pretty pricey for what you got. Speaking of pricey, and the 3 star review, was the beer. At $ 7.75 a pint I would have expected a skyline view at the top of pricey hotel downtown; not a pub in Cypress, TX. A sandwich and 2 beers was $ 28! Get pricing in line and I’ll be back. For now, there are too many other places with good food, cold beer for much less.

I’m glad I make my own judgment about a bar/restaurant instead of relying on the full opinions of others. The reviews here were not very good but based on my experience I was truly impressed. I came on a Friday during Happy Hour. They had a nice crowd(as expected) inside, outside and at the bar. I took a seat at the bar and was soon greeted by the bartender, Armando. I ordered the Island Jack(I think that was the name) made with Jack Daniels and it was soooo good. To munch, I had the buffalo wings which were also cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of flavor(trust me, I’ve had some bad wings). Others around me recommended the fish and Chios or the shrimp/salmon ceviche. Many people were also munching on burgers. I ordered one last drink(forgot the name) but it was made with Honey Jack & again was soooo yum. By this time, all the bar seats were full & people were standing around chatting and watching the baseball game on TV(Go Astros!). Armando was an amazing bartender and host but I also loved the way all the bartenders worked together to ensure customer service was upheld. This spot definitely goes down as one of my favs. I can’t wait to return! Kudos.

Service is horrible. Water was good. Unilocal said my review was to short, well my mamma says if I don’t have anything good to say, then don’t say anything. Maybe this is long enough now.

Does anyone else absolutely hate the guy in the bathroom? I can wash my own hands. Get my own towels without paying a dollar. Get rid of this guy. I’d rather go out out unwashed. NOBATHROOMGUY

Giant rip-off. We are not«cheap» diners, but $ 10 for one plank of fried cod and a handful of fries…$ 13 for Guinness Pot Roast which consisted of 4 oz. of beef and about 10 oz. of potatoes? Kind of ridiculous. The beer selection is mediocre. A few standard crafts, but nothing particularly interesting. Definitely nothing here to bring us back.

Friends and I are in here quite often because it’s conveniently located for us. The food is mediocre. Service is never consistent. I’ve had a few really great servers, and I’ve had several who don’t tend to their tables well. The place really needs a good cleaning. I’m really grossed out at the dirty, sticky everything when I go, yet I find myself back(again, because of convenience). I’m a glutton for punishment, I guess. Overall, the place is hit or miss.

The one thing I like about Baker’s is the happy hour, which lasts longer than most places. HH Monday to Saturday 2 – 9PM and all day Sunday. HH is only for drinks, no food. Every time I have been here, I order the Pick 3 Sampler Appetizer. You can choose from: Pub wings, chicken strips, potato skins, crispy cod strips, spinach artichoke dip, pickle fries, macaroni and cheese bites. Served with individual dipping sauces. For my recent trip: BBQ Pub Wings(3⁄5): This was good… Got the Chipotle BBQ. Similar to Honey BBQ at Buffalo Wild Wings. There serve 2 wings and 2 legs with Hidden Valley Ranch. Pickle Fries(2⁄5): Eh. Nothing memorable. The pickles are cut vertically, so they look like fries. I was thinking of fried pickles, with the horizontal cut. Anyways, I would not order this again. Does not compare to Fried Pickles from Willie’s. Macaroni and Cheese Bites(4⁄5): YUMMY. It has a mild spicy kick to it from the pepper jack cheese. If only they served you more… You only get 5 bites. Shepherd’s Pie(3⁄5): Seasoned ground sirloin, green peas, cheddar cheese and whipped potatoes, topped with a baked tomato and green beans. This was decent but fed two people. A few of my green beans were burnt. It was like 2⁄3 potatoes and 1⁄3 of the other stuff. Service here is below average. One of the factors I judge when it comes to service is water! For instance, my waitress had a water cup in her hand and chose not to re-fill my empty cup when she came by to pick up an empty appetizer plate. She could have simply poured water first then take the plate. I was sitting for about 5 minutes until she came by and re-filled. Other than that, I have not experienced anything worse. My one time experience here when they had live music was not enjoyable… A lot of yelling«WHAT?!» across our conversations even though I like live music. To sum it up, I just come here for HH sometimes when my friends want to come. I’d recommend trying the Baker’s on Morningside — younger crowd though.

The Cypress location has a very different feel than the Rice Village one, but I think it’s great and absolutely necessary. It’s still a nice, casual sports bar, but it’s a much more spacious venue, which is great. Great service, great drinks. I didn’t order food, but I’d like to come back for a burger. I’d also like to check out the patio. Good for a casual night out!
