Cindy was incredible to work with and her floral arrangements made our wedding and reception beautiful. We met Cindy through a recommendation from a friend and immediately felt welcomed and comfortable in our first interaction. Through a brief meeting we were able to share with her our hopes for our wedding and arrangements and she provided numerous options and ideas of what she could create. We had a proposal a few days later that was extremely considerate of our budget and were excited to start working.
As the date neared, Cindy was extremely accommodating, adjusting for small changes in our order and even arriving early on the day of to set up before the time planned. Her work was attentive, detailed, and most of all gorgeous. We were so happy to work with Touch of Lavender and could not recommend her service more highly!

I am a wedding photographer and I working with many event/​wedding planner on a week to week bases. Cindy by far impressed me with her attention to detail. You can tell that she truly cares about her clients and all the other vendors at the event. In this line of work its so important to have someone look out for all the details of the day. cindy is so wonderful! she made our wedding look amazing and could not have asked for a better florist. ive already started recommending her to all my friends for their future weddings! a picture says a thousand words so here’s my thousand word review.

My husband and I were looking for a florist for our December wedding, which took place last month. A friend of mine had highly recommended her and we immediately knew she was IT after our first meeting.
Cindy is down to earth, pays great attention to detail, and did an amazing job at bringing our vision to life!!! She works with your budget and will lay out clearly what she can do for you. My favorite was the arch that she put together using two manzanita trees, decorated with flowers. I just fell in love with it when I saw it! It turned out even better than the one I had shown her on my pinterest.
If you’re looking for a florist, make sure to check her out! It’s always comforting to feel when you’ve booked a solid vendor, that’s one less thing you’ve got to worry about on the day of your wedding!

We used Cindy from ATOL as our day of coordinator and florist for our destination wedding in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. We interviewed at least 10 wedding planners and Cindy was the least expensive and one of the most highly rated. Even though she was only our day of coordinator, she helped us with many questions we had throughout the whole wedding planning process. She replied to emails within 48 hours and as the wedding date got closer, she would reply within 24 hours. She would answer her phone call most of the time, but if she didn’t, she would call back within the same day. My husband and I typically do not mind planning events and researching information ourselves, but there are a lot of confusing information out there. There are a lot of small details that goes into wedding planning that we weren’t aware of, so it really helped getting Cindy’s help and inputs. We also used the DJ (DJ Tempoe) and officiant (Rev Bob) she recommended. They were both budget friendly and provided excellent services.
As for her floral decorations, it was beyond amazing! It was more than what I was expecting. The colors matched perfectly with my bridesmaids’ dresses, the centerpieces were beautiful, the sweetheart table decoration was breathtaking, and the cake floral arrangement was gorgeous! I fell in love with my bouquet that I flew it back with me and I decided to get it freeze dried so I could keep it forever. And even though I did not put my bouquet in water, it flew with me for over 6 hours, and I waited 3 days after my wedding to get it preserved back in Pittsburgh, PA, the lady who I took to have my bouquet preserved couldn’t believe how beautiful my bouquet stayed. If I didn’t have a destination wedding, I would’ve kept every single one of the floral arrangements. Luckily, all of my guests loved the decorations and centerpieces that every single one of them went to a lovely home.
There was one thing that didn’t go as planned during our wedding, which was our parents weren’t seated at the right seats. Our ceremony and reception was the same setup, where everyone was seated at a table, so I wanted our parents to sit in the seat with the «best view.» But, they didn’t seem like they were bothered with where they were sitting so it’s all good.
I would definitely recommend Cindy at A Touch of Lavender to anyone. She’s an amazing wedding planner and florist!

Cindy was a life saver! I forgot my garter at the hotel and she got one ready for us! Very attentive and warm! She made sure everything goes smoothly. I didnt worry about anything at all! I felt confident the whole night! I dont even have to tell her what to do because she knows EXACTLY what to do! The guests even noticed how organized and professional she is! As very busy working professionals we cannot stress how important it was to have someone like Cindy as our Day-​of/​Month-​of Coordinator and our florist. She is professional, friendly and very, very easy to work with. She was up-​front about her pricing and when it came to florals, never made us feel like we had to spend a certain amount. She is prompt when responding to emails and was someone we felt like we could really count on during the our planning process.
I, as the groom, also was able to work with her to on a surprise for my bride, and despite the jam-​packed schedule we had, she welcomed the opportunity for me to do something special and was flexible and accommodating to it. I can’t emphasize enough how great a communicator she was in the days leading up.
The day of the wedding however I feel was where Cindy REALLY shined. The day went perfectly (as far as we could tell!), and we even had compliments from some friends and family regarding how on point she was during the day. We had a bit of time with the photographer at the venue for photos before the cocktail hour and Cindy was there, making sure things were perfect and smooth. She ALSO made sure we and our bridal party were okay, getting us water when she noticed that it was a little hot outside while we were taking our pictures.
The rest of the evening went perfectly, including my surprise song to my wife where Cindy got my guitar and friend’s violin ready and good to go on the side to make the whole thing seamless.
Post-​event we didn’t lose any presents, decorations or anything else either! She made sure all of our personal effects got packed away fine.
For anyone that can budget it or is considering, having Cindy as a day-​of-​coordinator is very valuable. It greatly reduced the stress and burden of quarterbacking the day and allowed my wife and I to be guests at our own reception. Best of all, she is such a cheery person to work with, and working with her was one of the highlights of our planning process.

Cindy aka ATOL made my wedding absolutely beautiful beyond words!!! She was so patient as I made numerous changes up to the last few days before the wedding and surpassed all my wildest dreams when I saw the floral décor. I spent ~$ 3500 and that was a bargain for all the amazing flowers she provided (for a ~200 guest wedding). All the moms took home their beautiful centerpieces with a swiftness! Thank you ATOL!

A Touch of Lavender was our florist for our wedding at the Richard Nixon and we couldn’t be any happier. We were so impressed with Cindy from the day that we met her to the day of our wedding! Upon meeting her, we knew she is the one. She is super sweet, very honest, down to earth, and a great listener to your needs. Her prices are also very reasonable for what you get.
On the day of the wedding, the flowers and décor (chandelier and hanging crystals for the ceremony cabana) from Cindy were so breathtaking! The flowers for our ceremony and reception were so gorgeous and so fresh. Guests also love the beautiful manzanita trees decorated w/​fresh flowers, hanging crystals, and candles. Cindy helped to achieve our vision for a timeless, elegant, and classic wedding.
Cindy is also very professional, organized, and very responsive. She makes the entire wedding process very easy since we always got our questions answered promptly.

Cindy and the gang are the type of people you can trust and feel comfortable with. I have gone to a couple of weddings in which they were the wedding coordinators and I am impressed by how smooth the event turns out! Any apparent stress from the bride and groom? Nope. Got a couple of questions that the wedding coordinators may know? Calm and collected. A Touch of Lavender with a whole lot of care.

Cindy is the best. Just stop looking now and hire her. She was recommended by the coordinator at our venue, and it was the best thing that happened to us.
Her prices are SUPER reasonable. She was always on time for all of our meetings, even though we were usually late. She had nice little charts and timelines prepared for us, which kept us on track. Also, I found her very helpful for all of the little etiquette questions that arise. She helped us find great vendors within our budget, and all of her recommendations were spot-​on. And as the wedding approached, Cindy took care of confirming and coordinating with all of them. I kept asking my wife «do we need to be calling these people that we booked a year ago, to confirm they’re actually going to show up?» Nope, Cindy took care of it.
On our wedding day it rained, because the sky hates happiness. In a matter of an hour or two, Cindy transformed a banquet room at our venue into what would’ve been a great ceremony site in the first place, rain or shine. Oh and she did our flowers, too, and they were excellent.
I recommended Cindy to a coworker; they said I was a saint in their house for doing so. They recommended her to another coworker, who is using Cindy for her wedding. That’s all you need to know!

My husband and I hired Cindy as our wedding planner for our wedding. We can not thank her enough for everything she did for us! She met with us frequently to make sure we were on track, recommended amazing vendors and helped us through the whole wedding process. I tend to be detailed oriented and stress over very small things and I never felt stressed or overwhelmed during the wedding planning staged because of Cindy! She replied to emails and phone calls promptly, kept us in the loop with vendors by CC-​ing us on everything and was even available to our parents to answer their questions. I know she had other clients, but she gave us so much attention she made us feel like we were her only client.
We also used Cindy as our floral vendor and she went above and beyond with the flowers. They were so beautiful and more then anything I could’ve imagined!
I don’t think I was very good at explaining what I envisioned for our wedding & reception, but somehow Cindy was able to deliver exactly what I wanted. Every guest at our wedding commented on how beautiful the room was decorated and how gorgeous the flowers were. I would highly recommend Cindy to anyone looking for a planner or florist!

We found Cindy through Moo (Moo Images) our photographer. They had worked together before, which is awesome because they both knew how the other operated. Cindy was amazing throughout the entire process. She is respectful, knowledgeable and incredibly organized. We hired her for Day of Coordination for our wedding. She kept us on track for the rehearsal and when our group got a bit off track she was able to get all 12 of us refocused quickly and tactfully. She is really responsive to email and her meetings are organized and make best use of time, which is so valuable during the planning process.
On the actual wedding day she set up my personal decorations in such a romantic and beautiful way. I gave her a detailed list for where most of the décor went, but in the places I had overlooked, she improvised and it was spot on with what I would have chosen! The entire wedding venue was just perfect.
I didn’t see her much, but my husband did and he said she hustled all night. I know, if you don’t see your vendors, they’re doing a great job. It was my special day to celebrate, have a good time and not stress and I did just that thanks to Cindy’s hard work and dedication.

She was organized, CALM, and most importantly, sweet in trying to attend to my needs. A few of my bridal party folks commented on how awesome she was. Or, in their words, «DAMN, she’s good.» In fact, some of my friends currently engaged were sad that she wasn’t located in Northern California.
I recommend anyone to use any of her services especially couples that have venues that require a licensed coordinator. She has reasonable prices without compromising quality. I LOVE that she made note of everything, especially considering that we had a Chinese-​Palestinian wedding that had unique traditions.

My daughter’s wedding was last weekend and Cindy was a superstar!!! The pouring rain in July in California did not dampen her special day. Cindy was amazing at referring us to a great hair/​make up artist, photograph, limo service and venue. She was with us every step of the way so that my daughter and her fiancée had the wedding of their dreams. When we woke in the morning to the rain Cindy said no worries she had it under control. How correct she was. The guests walked into a beautiful ballroom with flowers everywhere and everything total in order. Her staff was polite and so helpful throughout the night. Lastly when the rain stopped at about 6pm she had the restaurant staff, herself and her staff having the balcony ready for more pictures and inside/​outside feel of the reception. It was a perfect evening and we cannot thank her enough for it.

HOLY SMOKES Cindy went above and beyond the call of duty — I got married 3÷28÷2015 and the sweetheart table, bouquet and everything was AMAZING. Words can’t express how beautiful it was, it really can’t.

Cindy is AMAZING! Two of my friends used Cindy for her floral and day of coordination services and I loved how all of their flowers looked and how perfect their big day flowed together!!! So not only did Cindy come highly recommended, I got to experience and see how professional she was working my two friend’s weddings! Cindy seriously delivers above and beyond! Not only is she super nice and friendly, she is on point on everything! Even when you think you’ve forgotten something; she had it taken care of already!

To echo everything that everyone else here has said: Cindy is just phenomenal at her job. We hired her to do our wedding flowers as well as do day-​of coordination. The flowers were absolutely beautiful! I cried tears of joy when I saw them because they were exactly what I wanted. She even found peonies, my favorite flower-​in January!- to put in my bouquet. That’s going above and beyond.
Her coordination skills are flawless. She’s calm, friendly, and well-​organized. Everything worked perfectly and I was actually able to enjoy my wedding because of her. Her rates are so reasonable for what she offers. She’s truly wonderful at her job! I recommend her for any kind of event.

Chandeliers and Martinelli’s. Soft pastels and romantic florals. Hair pieces and mustaches. All instrumental elements to an enjoyable Sunday brunch celebrating the birthday of a dear friend’s niece. I’m sucker for detailed décor, in interior design and event planning, and I even have Pinterest boards dedicated solely to egg-​white crown moldings and burlap table linings. Naturally, I had an absolute ball at a party that paid such close attention to detail.
Detailed down to the tee best describes Cindy, the business woman behind the madness. As a third-​party witness, I really believe she’s found her niche in event planning. A Touch of Lavender actually seems to have the golden Midas touch, of turning something great into something greater. The pictures of her event to party perfection are living proof that work and passion can be one and the same.
