Falls River Square

This place rocks in the summer! The Irish Fest, Italian Fest, and Oktoberfest during the summer are a blast. Rockin on the River is fun as heck as well. There are lots of cool restaurants and shops that are open during the festivals. This is THE place to be in the Falls during Summer weekends.

The square itself is somewhat boring until you toss in Rockin’ on the River or one of their many festivals. Then you get the best people watching in NE Ohio!!! I enjoy it way, way too much. But what do they expect when you can get 6 beers for $ 20?
I do enjoy coming down here to hang out with friends, drink some beers, and enjoy some live music after a long week!

I read on there website that the Festival was open today 7÷28÷12 at 11am which i thought was great since i could leave work for an hour on my lunch break and get some food and check out the other things.
I was WRONG!
I got there and Said WTFTFC!!!
None of the stands were open at 11 even though there were tons of people and kids everywhere.
Luckily The Office (Restaurant) Stand was nice enough to open right then and there for me and other people that came with me. One of the only good things there.
I really wanted an Elephant Ear, i’ve been craving one for a year now!
I went to the Elephant Ear stand at 11:30 and it wasn’t open yet even though someone was in it and opened the windows as if it was open.
I went back at 12:30 and they said another 20 Minutes! WTF!!!
I was a half hour late going back to work, empty handed and sad!
A few other stands turned me away, i had cash in had! Turn your G@D D@mn Fryers on!!! Is it that hard to turn your fryers on a half hour before 11 or even at 11!!!
I was thoroughly disappointed!
Only good points, The Lemonade Near the main stage was open at 11 and delicious as always. Office was really good, Fried Smelts were great at the other end near hibatchi. The Gelato Stand was great too.
I wish they could put on there website when food is open. Otherwise i may not ever go back.
