Good thing: you get appointment faster & apart from couple of occasions her medicines has worked for me
Bad thing: Her main focus is money. She may trick you to do something which is not at all required. For instance vaccines. She insisted me to take vaccine again within 3 years of the same vaccine she had given (which was due after 10 years). Even though I told her that I had taken the vaccine, she behaved like she has completely forgotten and told that I have not taken the vaccine. To my surprise she was asking to take the same vaccine again. 3^rd time. That tells the carelessness with which she maintains patients history

I got Dr Patwardhans recommendation as I was looking for a primary care physician in the area. She might be a good dr but a horrible office experience. Long waits, they don’t respect other people’s time, office does not take or return calls even from pharmacy when medications due for refil. I give the low stars only from my experience with the office and not particularly for the dr.
There is no way to speak to speak with the dr or contact her if you have health questions which necessarily does not require an office visit. The office is not courteous enough to check voicemails and call back in which case either your problem is solved or you find yourself dragged to the dr office.
She needs to have a better office practice.

I have been visiting Dr Manjul Patwardhan for past 4 years. The staff in the office are very friendly and helpful. They keep reminding you about your appointment well in advance. I have moved to Fremont 2 years back from sunnyvale and didn’t find any reason to change my primary physician. Dr Patwardhan has been a great physician for me for 4 yrs. She is very knowledgable and she prescribe right treatment for each problem. I strongly recommend Dr. Manjul Patwardhan for any primary care

Dr .pat =total waste of time .
Pat your self in the back for not being her patient yet.
Your are fine with her as long as every thing is fine with you.
In which case you don’t need a doctor.
Mistakes like not diagnosing a condition correctly are all growing phases In a doctors carrier for which I am tolerable with limits. An attitude that says —
«Your health problem is not my concern .I got my fee for your last /​current visit and I am done.» This is attitude is some thing I can’t tolerate.
There is no room for this attitude at any stage In a doctors carrier
A doc is expected to be kind, brilliant and caring .
I continues to stay with her, I gave myself 3 yr to change my own opinion about her but it showed up each time I visited her or interacted with her office.
There are enough review in Unilocal from where she can learn and change and work on — no, no sign of improvement because that’s what she is .she just doesn’t care.
* cant call or talk to the doctor with question next day after meeting with her on a appointment, it could be for you or for your sick child.
Have you ever hear of any doctor not talking or returning a patients call in the. US???
*u requested a copy of my test results either by post or email (while still a patient) — they don’t do it. you have to go and get it yourself. Because their time is precious and not ours. A doctor on the other, that I use to consult 10 years back at Losgatos for my kid (I moved city and changed doctors), I call their office and ask for test result and the doctor calls back, email, and mails the result. This was a doctor I was seeing 10 years back and not a his patent any more .
Go to doctors like him.
* I suffered from a infection for which I needed to see Gynec. She refered me to couple of doctors .i called them and didn’t get an appointment.
i called this ladies office, told them the fact and that I was suffering and requested them to help me with an appointment with any Gynec they knew .
I was left in the air like my condition is no ones business. primary care physicians don’t do this to their patients.

I wish there was an option for 0 stars. I used to see Dr. Patwardhan back in high school for the plethora of injuries I sustained and for regular checkups, along with my family. However, as time went on, we started realizing that a lot of her suggestions were made with the sole purpose of getting more money, whether it be from insurance or from the patients themselves. So we stopped going, but that happened to be the time around which I went off to college and all of my medical needs were taken care of at the Student Health Center.
Now, I’ve recently come back home after graduating, and a few weeks ago, noticed an abnormality within my larynx. Not really remembering the practices of this doctor, and being the only one I could remember, I made an appointment to see her. I actually didn’t have to wait too long in the waiting room either, despite the fact that I had arrived pretty early. That was lovely. At the time. Now, looking back in retrospect, I’m not surprised at all. I met with the doctor for a total of 5 – 10 minutes. In which she told me that I did indeed have the abnormality that I saw myself. And that was that. She gave me another doctor’s name to schedule an appointment with to delve deeper. A few weeks later, I get the bill. Now, I was told that my insurance would cover part of the visit. Guess what, it didn’t. And the total amount? More than 100. For, at most, 10 minutes of the doctor’s time, to tell me exactly what I had told her.
I’m looking for a new doctor to visit now. And if you’re looking for one, keep looking. You do not want to come here. Not worth.

I went for green card medical certificate and she delayed it by referring to local hospital by referring a possible TB case. it cost me significant in time and money and will not suggest ANYONE to go for green card purpose medical exam. She is not knowledgeable enough.

I was tricked into paying $$$ for a diet plan that I did not ask for when I went for an annual checkup and follow-​up. And if it works, the front office staff should have lost 100 pounds by now.

I went to this doctor. They told me my cholesterol level was at 399… Im a 27 year old female. I asked her for prescription or something to lower my cholesterol and all she said was come back and six weeks after diet and exercise. I went to a different doctor two days later and my cholesterol was at 145.
She is a bariatric doctor so she wanted to collect insurance and have me come in every couple of weeks to track my «diet».
SCAM.

This is a doctor whose sole purpose seems to be to make money off of her patients. We had a trip planned for Kenya and they country required us to have Yellow Fever Vaccination done prior to the trip. We contacted this doctor’s office and were told that we need to first set up a travel consultation with the doctor before we can talk any further. Fine, we set up a travel consultation for both of us, only to know that the clinic does not provide Yellow Fever Vaccination. The doctor did recommend in her consultation that we should take Yellow Fever Consultation (and Typhoid) prior to the trip.
She gave us a referral for another doctor in Mountain View who can do the vaccination, only that the other doctor needs another consultation or a doctor’s prescription before they can give us the vaccination. And now, Dr Manjul Patwardhan tells us that she cannot write us a prescription for Yellow Fever Vaccination because her office does not provide for the same.
What sort of a crap clinic is she running? She had my insurance money once, but definitely not getting ever again in my life. And she gets bad recommendation to all my friends (email follows).

Not the most efficient front office, and not affiliated with a hospital, but the Dr herself is really nice. My family — parents, and myself have been going to her for 6 – 7 years. They are really flexible with appointment times, and she does take a lot of time to talk to my mom, answering every question she has about medications etc. And even taking the time to persuade her to stick with a course of treatment.
What I found inconvenient, vs say my PAMF physicians who are pediatricians etc from a big group is that when she is on vacation, her subs are not always that great. Last year though she did have a nice sub. Guess the situation is worse at Kaiser etc though when I could not get the same doc two times in a row. and PAMF too, when I used them for family medicine the women physicians quit for maternity leave and then never came back to the practice more than a couple of times. She does not have hospital privileges, so when my mom or dad was hospitalized they had to switch to a hospital based internist which is not great, but she has always called back, and co-​ordinated great with other physicians.
I think the issue with no call backs etc is that over the years I’ve found that when she is away for a month at a time on vacation etc. the coverage had not been great, and must have been even worse after hours.

Dr Patwardhan is my family doctor. We have always had very good experience with her. She spends enough time with us and answers all the questions patiently. When we went to her for USCIS medical exam she gave us discount because we were existing patients. When I went back to collect my paperwork she went over the paperwork with me and noticed a mistake I had made while filling the form. She was actually on her way out and her family was outside waiting for her in the car. But she stayed back until I completed the form and then redid the paperwork so that I did not have to go back. I was totally impressed!

I have been seeing Dr Patwardhan, for many years now, throughout this time I have found her recommendations, diagnosis and treatments highly accurate and effective. In my opinion she is a top notch physician and I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a primary care physician.

I went here for USCIS medicalexam process. Very greedy place. dont go here for this purpose. all they need is money, they have some tie up with the VRI for xrays, they made me do unwanted xray, though i had that same xray from Kaiser.
it took me 5 tripsto doctors office to get the ducmentation ready.

Very Painful expierence.
I went today for my immigration related checkup, the whole office was working like a assembly line shop. She did physical checkup for 3 of us in 3 minutes !!!
apparently it was just for policy sake, and no real checkup done.
My front office person does not check the records properly, she made me run several times to tell what was missing, what needs to be get done etc. i had to do it patiently as i had to finish it anyway. The front office helpers pissed me offf…

I have been to many general doctors throughout my life. Most of them are pretty good and a few bad ones. Dr. P is definitely one of the better ones. She is easy to speak with and runs a very efficient operation. She stays current on new trends in medical treatment and makes sure that her patients are aware of them. I have never had difficulty in making appointments to see her. She does close at 3 so I think it’s okay if she wants to go home. She also has Saturday morning appointments which not many docs have. Her fees are actually at the lower end of the spectrum for the area. I think she is an excellent doc.

I recently visited Dr. Manjul and was really pleased with her approach to my case. She took time to answer my questions and educate me about issues that I am facing and also put a lot of my doubts to rest. I am impressed.

Extremely unprofessional and does not call back her patient even in an emergency.
One word — If you value your health avoid her.

I’m sad to say that I also was not pleased with her bedside manners when I first saw her four years ago. I came back however and she seemed much nicer. I think she has improved.

Based on the other reviews about her being unprofessional, they are right. I had a blood test done to see whether I was anemic or not over six months ago. I would still like to know those results please. I changed doctors and had another blood test done and they had gotten back to me by the next day. Patwardhan ALSO started charging me the specialist price for a bit until we talked to our insurance and had that sorted out that she was just a family physician. She doesn’t show much care to her patients so I’m soo glad that I changed doctors. If you haven’t changed doctors yet do so and you’ll probably be a lot happier off.
