Hair We Go

Yixin and Jennifer are both great. I’ve been going here for ages before it was remodeled and they do their always do their best. The shop now feels more relaxed given the books and kids decoration so it’s great place to bring family. Later on, they plan to add Coffee/​tea seating area. Will definitely check it out again when they do!

The first time I saw this place was because my boyfriend needed a haircut. The lady (Yixin) was really nice about recommending books that I could read while waiting (i got a book about how this lady had tumors in her breast & recovered from the removal of the tumors), and was able to help my boyfriend look nicer (:
The second time I came here, my mom decided my brothers needed a haircut and I brought them here. We were really lucky to be able to come here without making an appointment first, but you should still call ahead to make sure because occasionally there is a lot of people waiting for a haircut. Yixin was (again) really nice and was able to successfully figure out how my brother wanted his haircut, based on his vague description. Another lady helped to cut my other brother’s hair, and she was able to cut my other brother’s bangs to the perfect length, where it won’t cover his forehead too much. However, I think that both of my brothers’ hair would have looked better if they hadn’t gelled their hair at the end (something I didn’t notice they did for my boyfriend).
Overall, my experience here was amusing. Especially when I went with my brothers when they got a haircut. When my youngest brother was called to get a haircut, the lady (not Yixin) double checked with me, asking «does your other son need a haircut too?» I was a little surprised at her question because I didn’t realize I looked so old (I’m only 19, and my brothers are in high school). Definitely recommend people to get a haircut here if they’re in the area, since the price is relatively cheap too ($ 15 for guys & $ 25 for girls based on what I remember).

This place is highly recommended! They have many years of experience. I am one of those people who has «difficult hair», hard and straight. Flat top style used to be my only option. I am so glad I finally can have some new look :) They handled my hair so well right from my first visit! I am very satisfied with the result. Hair-​we-​go is definitely the place I will keep going! :-)

This place is close to home, the inside is super clean and has a nice modern layout, and the staff is super sweet. Yixin cut my hair tonight, I came in without a photo or reference and told her a rough idea of what I wanted and she gave me a super nice cut. She was friendly, talkative, and easy to get along with.
I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a not-​too-​expensive, but not-​too-​cheap haircut shop.

It’s the best barber shop I ever met in the U.S. Usually the barber cannot handle my hair style for the first time. But they gave me a big surprise. Jennifer had my hair cut in the exact way I expected in the first time, which wasn’t the case for other barbers. They are really great! I think I will keep this barber shop in my bookmark until I leave Bay Area.

I have come to this salon for years. I am always happy with my hair coming out of there. It just got remodeled recently and also got a new name. I love how it looks now. Also love the books and gifts sold there. Highly recommended!

The owner is so nice. I just went there yesterday and i ll definitely go next time. Now i dont have to go to great clips. Recommended !

All of my family have been customers at this hair salon for near 9 years. The owner and all her coworkers are very nice. The price is very reasonable. And their service is very good. Extremely happy with this salon.

I wen to this shop the other day, they did a excellent job and cut my hair exactly the way I want! This place is new and clean, surprisingly, there is also a collection of Chinese books. Customers can read the books while waiting, very interesting, try this place.

Highly recommended, Julie did a wonderful job with my hair cut at 15 min speed too! Furthermore they all had a very nice attitude, Double Plus!
