Dollar Plus

Located inside the Vallco Mall, near Macy’s.
I was pleasantly surprised that there was no strange smell in the store.
The prices of items ranged from $ 1.00 to $ 2.99.
Their kitchen selection had whisks (three sizes), oven mitts, glass cheese shakers, potato mashers, funnels (three sizes), etc.
The «triple size» cottons balls were laughable because they were the smallest cotton balls I had ever seen.
The envelope selection was decent — they even had bubble mailers.
I even saw iPhone 5 cases.
I just about fell over when I saw Panasonic batteries (AAA, AA, C, D, and 9 Volt). That was the last thing I expected to see in a dollar store. I didn’t get any, only because I had just stocked up on all the aforementioned battery types at both Costco and
.

The cashier was friendly, and thanked me for shopping there.

In a Vallco Mall Crawl, I stopped into this Dollar Plus to pick up some xmas bags for this years set of gifts.
A strange smell, basically the smell you find at many dollar stores plus some kind of funk encased the room, getting worse the farther back you went into the store.
A store employee came out of the back area after another customer stood in front of the counter for a few moments and my service, when I went to purchase my bags was unmemorable and problem-​free.
It’s a dollar store, and not one of the best.
