Troncalli Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

They were so rude. My wife spent an entire afternoon in the dealership. It has taken them 3+ weeks to for the «finance manager» work on a deal. We like to buy local as much as we can… We went to Landmark and the deal was done in less than an hour. I wish it would let us leave zero stars because that is what they deserve.

Warning all woman! Went there for service on my brand new car. After speaking to a service manager I asked to speak to his manager. The manager of the service department is the most condescending chauvinist I have ever met. After discussing my issue he asked «what does your husband think?» I bought the car not my husband. What a pig! Ladies stay away from here.

Literally the worst service department I have ever experienced. Even with an extended warranty, trying to find ways to cheat to get a few extra dollars. Avoid them… I assure you I would never buy from them.

Just purchased a new Jeep from Troncalli 5 weeks ago. Check engine light came on yesterday. Took it in and turns out it needs a new transmission after just 5 weeks! Anybody want to buy a car with a replaced transmission? Me either. Funny part is that they don’t want to provide similar transportation while I deal with Chrysler directly since they can’t and won’t replace the car. Oh ya, when asked about reported transmission problems during the sale I was told, «Small computer glitch thats all fixed». Just my experience to date. More to come I’m sure. If I were doing it all over again, without a doubt I’d opt for an alternative car and dealer!

I called to see if they had a renegade I was looking for. I got there and confirmed the price, and then they increased the price when I went to sign the paperwork. I would not recommend buying a car from them.

THE THIRST IS REAL!
My son and I visited this location to test drive a new Jeep. Now, let me just make this clear, I had no intention of purchasing a Jeep but was just curious about the drive and wanted to check out the new features. The drive went well and my son also completed a test drive. Before you can take a test drive, they take a copy of your license just in case. I had no problem with this.
Once the drives were over, we were done but the salesperson wanted us to come into the office and we declined. I just told him that I had everything that I needed because I did. Any information that I needed regarding a particular car could be found on line. Also, if they want to give you a business card, they can bring it outside while you wait. Whatever you do, don’t cross that threshold because you already know that they are going to try and lock you down in an effort to get you to purchase a vehicle.
A few days later, I get this message from the guy who took us on the test drive. He had apparently looked up my phone number after copying my driver’s license, (because I had not provided any personal information), and actually thought that it would be appropriate to call me. This really crossed the line and of course I never returned his call. I just believe that if the customer does not want or initiate further contact, this must be respected by the dealership and its employees.
Don’t call me, I’ll call you.

Yet another ridiculously long wait for their «express» oil change; I was told 50 min and am still here more than 2 hours later. I will never come back

We really wanted to buy our Jeep here to support a local business. They totally low-​balled our trade in. We knew what it was worth going in. Then they offered us «discounts» but added so many fees and add-​ons (some of which we later found out come standard on the model we were looking at) that the price was more than sticker. We bought our Jeep elsewhere and were treated great.

Seriously, avoid this place. Almost 2 years ago, they wouldn’t give me the time of day. Palmer in Alpharetta paid attention to me as a customer.
After purchasing two Wranglers, we have done our upkeep/​maintenance with Troncalli.
The last time we took my wife’s in for an oil change, they didn’t fill the tires like they were supposed to, nor did they put a sticker to remind her of when to get a new oil change. So she has been driving around with her light on her dashboard saying a tire is low.
As for the recall… After trying several times to get recall items taken care of, told they would not have parts for months, which took up to a YEAR. We finally got our FIRST Jeep in there. It took all day to complete. When my wife got it home, transmission fluid was leaking all over the garage. I’m talking puddles. When we called to ask about it, they just said «bring it back in tomorrow». You know, because it’s not an inconvenience to do this and be without a vehicle two days in a row… now making it three days due to the 2^nd Wrangler needing the same recall work done.
On top of the terrible service, they called earlier in the day to state that there was «carbon buildup on the transmission plate». An item that takes 15 minutes to do yourself, yet they wanted to charge $ 140 for it. When researching this on other Jeep forums, every single person stated that the dealership was basically trying to pull in extra revenue, and to find another service center/​dealership ASAP, and to never go back. After all of this poor service, I refuse to take it back to this despicable dealership.
Crooked as they come. Don’t care one bit about the customer. Only out to make an extra dollar.

I purchased a used 2010 Mazda from Trancalli in Cumming Georgia on Sept 15^th. I came in with my own pre-​approved financing. They were pretty insistant about offering their fininacing options. After reluctantly giving my info for a credit app, I quickly came to my senses and told my salesman Bruce Balanger in no uncertain terms that I did not want to run my credit, and apply for alternative finacing. He told me that running a credit check will not hurt my credit, which I know to be a lie as too many inquiries into a person’s credit is a clear factor in credit rating. Turns out they ran it any way. The finance guy then showed up, did not introduce himself, and offered me alternative financing through «Ally» trying to pressure me to make a decision on the spot. I took a few minutes and found that Ally is a shady operation at best, finding out after 3 minutes of online research that they have a pending class action law suit against them for discriminatory lending practices against Asians and Hispanics. There were many online complaints also. They also tried to leverage me into their loan by stating I would need to come up with about $ 1200 in order to use my loan. Turns out this wasn’t true at all.
After a week and a half of purchase I started receiving letters from lenders they had contacted for an auto loan on my behalf. Seven in all. Among them was a letter from Chase with a very good financing counter offer, beating their rate and terms they told me about from Ally and my pre-​arranged loan. They altogether did not bother to present this offer. I called and spoke with Glen in finance about my intention to take the offer from Chase, which is still good to this date, but he told me it was too late because they had already received the money from my lender. I called my sales rep who tried to sidestep any responsibility in the matter even though his name is on my contract. He told me I needed to take it up with the sales manager Clifford Ruud. I told him he needed to do that and that I expect to hear back from them today, 10−6−14. I of course have not heard back from them yet.

I purchased a vehicle from them in 2013. I received 4 free oil changes. When I went to get my first one, I got in the car and it literally smelled like someone smoked in it. When I brought this to their attention they told me that nobody had smoked in it, but the guy who drove it around was a smoker so it must have been a residual smoke odor.
Also, recently went back to see about trading in for another vehicle. We were there for 3 hours and nothing happened. Our sales rep sat in a different room the whole time and each time I asked what was going on (while they were looking at a new loan) I was told it would just be a few minutes. Finally, I told them that my wife and I were going to eat lunch and just to call us when they had the interest rate we were approved for and what our payment would be. I was told that wasn’t possible, that I had to personally come in. I challenged that and the rep was clearly lying as they quickly changed their story. And then they followed me out the door to my car stating that they had spent a lot of time on this and that they would expect us to be ready to sign papers right then. I went in fully planning to purchase a new vehicle but the service we received prevented me from doing so. I’ll not go back to this dealership.

Tried securing a car for dealer transfer. In talking to the sales guy, he actually recommended I buy from someone else. And they are unwilling to transfer vehicles and they could care less about actually selling the car this week.
Wow. I’m ready to purchase and the dealer refuses to sell and actually recommends I find another car and go to another dealer. just wow. Guess they don’t want return customers. All this and the price wasn’t ever an issue!

Terrible service — the first thought that comes to mind is RUN don’t walk away from this dealer’s service. Sales on new Jeeps at this dealership and the sales management team are on par, but if you buy a car from them, have it serviced elsewhere. Every time we brought our Grand Cherokee in for service there was a dispute. The service team would completely botch the job (like putting simple roof racks and side steps on), or if during the first 2 years of service anyone but myself took the Jeep in for service or repair, the service team persuaded them to add on more unnecessary service charges than what were needed… and at a hefty charge. Net/​net, this is not the kind of service you would expect from a reputable dealership, so be warned! I’ve since bought another Grand Cherokee at Palmer Dodge/​Jeep and their service department runs circles around the Troncalli group here.

I can’t tell you how bad this dealership is! Avoid it at all cost! I took my truck in with a check engine light to be fixed before I went to Florida on vacation. After charging me $ 99 to «flash» the computer, the same problem started 3 hours into my trip. After having the truck towed to a dealer in Florida, I was informed the the computer had never been flashed. The dealer knew this by noticing that an updated sticker had not been placed on the unit. So I had to pay another $ 110 to get the job actually done. The service manager at Troncalli basically said that I tough luck, with a piss poor attitude I might add. Companies like this should be run out of business, taking advantage of customers in a bad spot with their cars. Make the trip to the Dodge dealer in Buford, Troncalli sucks!
