Good food. Great beer selection but poor bartenders. Continuously see them pour beers that are 75% head and let them sit to become half beer, then continue the pour. Makes for some stale tasting beer!
Food is good but service is hit or miss. They have a few good servers but the majority are slow and don’t pay attention. A lot of hanging out and taking opposed to paying attention to their sections. At least once upon your visit, you’ll see someone stand up and waive or walk to the bar/​kiosk area to get their servers attention.
A lot of potential but appears to be poor management. Place is never busy and lacks basics.

Incredible beer selection and great food for a bar. Their pastrami and corned beef sandwiches are the absolute best I have ever tasted. The wings are HUGE! They have a lot of seasonal food and beer selections which makes each trip interesting.

Maybe it was because I came in early on a Friday but the burger I got, Thai burger, was cooked perfect and the taste was outstanding! Bar staff was attentive and friendly, using my name when asking me if i needed anything. Not just a great place for beer, they have a good wine list as well. All in all, a groovy little place.

I have been here before and the experience was wonderful. Last time I went was just that. I was with a table of 12. Understanding that we would have to wait for a table. There was a guy working on some electrical thing and we had to wait on hom. No big deal, then we finally sat down about 20 – 30 minutes later. I ordered a sangria (it says on the menu wine by the glass $ 5.99 and carafes were $ 8.00. So I had two and a friend if mine had two as well. People ordered and we waited, it took along tie. Nobody could seem to get a drink. I friend wanted a side of dressing but never got anything of the sort. So finally we get our food, everyone but me. The waiter said they forgot it and it would be rushed. 30 minutes later everyone else was done and I finally got my tacos. I eat, rather cranky by this time. Everyone else is completely done. The food was good. So we wait for me to eat. They comped my tacos. Okay, that’s fair. Manager came to my table. Then we got the bill. We were charged for two $ 8.00 carafes of sangria. My friend was charged the same. So, I tell the server, and he tells me we don’t have carafes. Kinda like a little smartass. I’m like then how did you charge me for 2! Anyway they also added 18 percent gratuities. That is fine if I actually was waited on, got my food and didnt have a kid who could care less for a server. I was mad as hell by this point. After fighting with the manager the bill was like $ 45.00 for one dinner and three drinks. My friend never got hers corrected even though she showed them the problem. They just drop the bill and run. I was so angry by the time it was over we left before everyone else at our table. I really liked this place before and the waiter and the manager really screwed up and acted like they were annoyed and could care less. I am not coming back and neither are my friends. Way to go Summit.

Standard local sports bar here. Cheap beer, standard bar food. Nothing spectacular but nothing bad either. Good place to go to watch a game or play trivia. With so many other choices in the area, I’m hoping they add some new menu items to entice me to come back

Home away from home. We love the beer, food is great, and the people are amazing. We especially love visiting with Andy. It is always a special treat to get to visit with him when we come in and he is here. Would be here almost every day if we could — and we used to be when we lived closer! :).

So the girls and I had a day off and wanted something different to eat. We all had deli sandwiches like corned beef or pastrami! AMAZING! Not to mention the croutons for your salad are honey mustard and onion pretzels! Beer was perfectly nice and crisp… And had a great selection! Our server josh was great… Attentive and very helpful with options and knowing the menu! Not to mention we came in at downtime lunch hour at like 230 when most servers don’t pay much attention! The service tonight was very good. However, they have moved their focus from wings to burgers. Great news if you like burgers, not so if you like wings. They used to have the best wings in town but they have gone from fresh wings to frozen pieces and they weren’t good. I like this place because they really try to provide unique menu items, but if you lose focus on an item then just remove it from the menu.

Great beer selection and great service! The food is good and has a great selection. If you are are a craft beer nerd this is the place and food is great as well!

You can’t beat the beer selection… anywhere…period. 200+ on tap with 100+ in a bottle. It’s also cold, unlike Taco Mac.
The food is mediocre. The burgers are $ 10-​$ 14.00, and they are huge, but they aren’t amazing or anything. I’d say just average bar food.
I may go back, I may not. It wasn’t a thrilling experience.

Friendly bartender, promt service, the food is always consistent and many beer choices.

This place is great!!! Great atmosphere, great food, what more could you ask for? The fried pickles are very unique and delicious! The wings were great. We will be back!

Loved this place! They have such a variety on their menu that I wish we had time to try more items. We did have the pretzel which is HUGE, garlic fries and garlic Parmesan wings. Everything was wonderful. They also have the largest selection of beers that I have ever seen. This is must stop for us the next time we are in town.

Good selection of beers but my wife and I didn’t enjoy the food. Burger with Fois Gras was bad, and the Cuban sandwich as well.
I will not come back.

Came in did the first time tonight looking for some wings. We are new to the area having just moved to cummimg from Alpharetta so we thought we’d give it a try. When we walked in we were greeted by a funky stale beer smell. We sat at the bar and were taken care of by an attentive bar tender. Asked him what was good and he said burgers. The menu is no kidding 6 freakin pages long. Asian noodle bowls– kimchi– burgers– rueben sandwich… Huh? This place had a major identity crisis and there is no way they do all those menu items well. There aren’t enough customers to have all those ingredients fresh.
Seems like a Middle Aged bar for the most part. The bar has mugs hanging from it and they are absolutely filthy. I ordered beer from a bottle to be safe. Wings were okay but we won’t be back. Dirty, smelly and too many other places to choose from.

We have given this place several chances hoping things would get better. Average bar food. Horrible service and it always seems dirty.
Pretty good beer specials, but the sticky tables, filthy menus and poor service have made this place just unbearable. There’s also a weird, dirty mop water smell that overpowers you when you walk in.
Won’t be returning.

This was a great find. Two visits thus far and we are hooked. First there are many great appetizers. We love the fried pickles, kimchi fries, German pretzel with cheese (awesome mustard) and buffalo dip.
First visit I tried the corned beef. That was really good. On my second trip I tried the mushroom Swiss burger. I was surprised when the burger arrived. It was huge! And I did enjoy it!
The menu is varied with lots of different types of food. They have deli items like corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, fajitas and quesadillas, huge selection of burgers, salads and other items.
Then there’s in insane selection of draft beer!!! There are about 170 selections tonight but it can be as much as 200 – 250!!!

I’m only leaving a star because I’m forced to.
Pretty bad food, a lot of beers on the list that they «ran out of» and disinterested, bored staff who don’t seem to want to be there.
Try Rooster Café down the street. MUCH better.
This place could be great if somebody knew how to run it right.
I say PASS. What a shame.

If your a beer lover this place is a must! 150 beers on tap. All you can eat crab legs on Wednesdays for $ 25! Great deal! Their wings are great & they have 10 different flavors. There’s plenty of seating w/​lots of T.V.‘s:) There’s also a kid friendly arcade:) Tuesday is Bingo & kids eat free.

SOOOOOOO after my boyfriend pulls up to this joint, I’m looking at him like is he for serious b/​c this place doesn’t look like the type of place I’d typically go to (sort of run down looking, kind of out of our way to where he lives). Rule number one: don’t judge a book (or in this case, restaurant) by its cover!
We went inside and sat ourselves at a booth (sign said to seat ourselves). Within minutes a server came by to give us our menus. First thing I noticed was the extensive menu with PLENTY of seafood options — -LOVE!
What we ordered:
–CHICKEN FLATBREAD: We didn’t find anything in the appetizer menu that really drew us in, so we opted for a pizza to share as an app. The flatbread is EXTREMELY cheesy so beware. That might not be a problem for some people, but I can’t do that much cheese in one sitting so I had to pick about ¾ of the cheese off in order to consume. It’s not your typical flatbread — it’s loaded with toppings and sort of resembles a fully loaded crunchy bread with lots of toppings/​cheese on top. 3 stars
–BLACKENED GROUPER SANDWICH: YUM! Fish was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and came between deliccccious and fluffy french bread. I opted for the side salad as my side item… what I liked about it was instead of croutons, they use mustard flavored pretzels as the crunch. Yum!
–KENMORE BURGER: If you are looking for the king of burgers, I’d suggest ordering this. This burger is HHUUUGGEE!
Basically, if you like decently priced, HUGE PORTIONS, Summits Wayside Tavern is the way to go. I’d like to point out that our server was on point with everything. Nicolas came when we needed him, didn’t mess up our order one bit, and was super friendly.
