During my journey on this planet, I’ve had quite a few dealings with law enforcement. My Da’s uncle was a motorcycle cop and assistant chief in Waycross. My father-in-law was Chief of Police in Eustis, Florida. I’ve deejayed fundraisers for Forsyth County’s Sheriff’s Explorer Post. I’ve been lit up by blue lights at various jurisdictions. I’ve been a prosecution witness in an animal abuse case. I’ve ministered to persons in lock-ups, and attended numerous court hearings with others. I’ve called for help on one break-in. As a citizen of Forsyth County, I have great admiration for the officers and personnel of our Sheriff’s Department. The unfailing kindness, politeness, professional integrity, and enthusiasm of every part of Sheriff Ted’s team is refreshing and encouraging.
