Domestic Relations: Banks & Stubbs, LLP provides representation in domestic litigation primarily in Georgia courts at the trial level (Superior Courts) and appellate representation in the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court. Members of the firm handle cases in all areas of domestic relations including uncontested and contested divorce, modification of child support, modification of custody and visitation, domestic violence (TPOs), and contempt issues.
General Civil Litigation:: If you need legal advice regarding a possible lawsuit with a business or individual, we can help in assessing your case and helping you through the legal process. We also handle wills, living wills, probate, juvenile court, small business litigation and many other areas.
History
Established in 1994.
Former District Attorney, Rafe Banks, III and former U.S. Prosecutor, Robert (Beau) Stubbs, III founded the firm more than 15 years ago to provide litigation representation to the North Georgia community in the areas of criminal litigation, domestic/family law, general civil litigation, juvenile law, wills and probate matters. Attorneys handle cases in Forsyth County, Cumming, Dawson County, Dawsonville, Cherokee County, Canton, Lumpkin County, Dahlonega, White County, Cleveland, and Hall County, Gainesville, Georgia.
Partner Tracy Ann Moore joined the firm in 2002 and specializes in Family Law. Associate Daisy Weeks is the former law clerk to Judge David L. Dickinson and joined the firm in 2008. She specializes in criminal law, general civil litigation, wills and probate.
