I have had some terrible hair experiences… i move every couple months for work and needed a place for blonde highlights while working here in RI… Nichole was extremely nice on the phone when i scheduled my appointment, which made me relax a little and the cost was less than my last highlight and cut and I loved my hair wayyy more! i went in asking for a blonde bombshell look and i was not disappointed! i left the salon feeling better than i had in a long time! it is crazy how much your hair affects your confidience. Thank you for making me a blonde bombshell! :D

I had a groupon that I used for a facial with Heidi about a year ago. I have been going to Heidi ever since ! She gave me one of the best facials I have ever had ! She is very professional, uses great massage techniques, and she even did my hands and feet ! She will explain what she is doing as well as what the products will do for your skin ! Overall a very relaxing experience !

Nichole does an absolute wonderful job with any service you get! The prices are great! I got the Brazilian blowout and it lasted forever! She is a doll and always willing to work around scheduling appointments! Definitely go to Salon de Nichole!

I started seeing Nichole in April 2014 and have since had 3 haircuts with her. Nicole is always welcoming and friendly (even when I’m running late to my appointment) and always takes the time to listen to what I want and discuss what I’m looking for to make sure she gets it right. I love the way she cuts my thick, coarse hair with long layers and an angle in the front. It puts the right amount of movement into my style. Her blow outs are awesome too! I love the volume and body and yet smoothness my hair has after she blow dries it. She also started using her new brand of 100% organic argan oil and it gave an amazing shine to my hair!

I have been going to Salon De Nichole for over 6 months getting facials from Heidi. She is great at explaining the products and the benefits they provide. She does a great job and I have been very pleased with the results. My skin looks and feels awesome. I highly recommend Heidi for a great facial.

Nichole is amazing! I left with the best haircut I have had in years. Her level of service and skill far exceeds many of the Boston/​Newbury Street salons I went to for years. She is also super accommodating — squeezing me in for an appointment at a time that worked best for me. Highly recommend this salon to everyone!

I bought a Groupon for a spray tan so I decided to use it yesterday since I’m leaving for vacation today. I have never had a spray tan before so I was very nervous that I would end up looking like Snooki! Well after having the spray tan done I’m very happy! It looks very natural like I just got back from vacation! The only reason that I didn’t give 5 stars is because the Instruction for before preparation was very little. I went online had googled it so I was prepared but it would be nice to have a spot on their website. Oh and Nichole was very nice!

I bought the facial groupon, looking forward to a much-​needed 90 minutes of relaxation after the birth of my second son.
I arrived a few minutes early and was asked to have a seat and wait (completely understandable). One woman was getting her hair done while chatting with another person who was in the «waiting area» with me. All seems normal so far. While I waited, however, I noticed that no other customers were coming or going from the back room where I assumed the facial would be taking place. I guessed that maybe they adhere to a very strict start /​stop time to ensure that customers get the full 90-​minutes that they expect. When the time came, Heidi brought me to the back room where she told me to remove my top and gave me the standard «half-​robe» many spas offer for facials. Our exchange was awkward, I felt, as there was no exchange of names, preferences, comforting small talk, etc… nothing that I have come to expect when receiving a spa service in the past. Oh well, I thought, I must be full of hormones and not reading her correctly.
She returned to the room and began the facial. For my liking, it was rough and almost uncomfortable. She talked about the products that she was using (which I could do without, but that varies by salon /​spa). When it came time for extractions, Heidi told me that she «tends to be a little rough» and told me to tell her if I was uncomfortable. Ummm. ouch. I had to ask her to stop. I am NOT a wimp. I can take pain like a champion. Her extractions were beyond painful and I was afraid that it was doing more damage to my skin than it was a benefit.
Before I changed back to my clothes, I was told that I could have a neck massage for an additional fee. I wasn’t interested and said no thanks.
Finally, the facial was over and I was ready to get out of there. There was, again, no exchange of any real pleasantries. I handed my standard 20% tip (on the full cost of the service), but I really debated if I should. I feel like anyone can have an off day, but I just don’t think that my personality meshed with Heidi’s. I also realize that the groupon might cut into profits, but I could have become a regular customer if the service was a good fit. Oh well…

I love this place and I love Nichole! She is such a sweetheart and really knows what she’s doing. My friend started coming here and when I moved down the street I had to check it out. I’ve now been coming here for almost a year and I always leave happy! I have long hair and some places I’ve been to before had different definitions of a «trim». Nichole listens and gives suggestions when you need it. Prices are really affordable too! A definite must go.

I recently received a facial from Heidi from a Groupon I had purchased. I was not very impressed. I felt uncomfortable and not welcome. Heidi didn’t even ask my name or introduce herself. I also purchased a 90 minute facial with a head and neck massage. The facial lasted just 60 minutes with no head and neck massage. I felt more like a number than a customer and felt like I was bothering her. I wouldn’t go back. Maybe I just caught her on an off day…

Nichole was great! I stopped in today, with a certificate I received, but did not have an appointment. She took me right in, and did a really great job! I don’t get a haircut often, so I have really long hair, but she made it look and feel so healthy again. Nichole is very personable, and really takes her time to make sure it comes out perfect. I will definitely be returning, and making her my regular hairdresser.

I first visited Salon De Nichole to get a facial using a living social deal and was really impressed by the facial and the customer service I received from the time I made the appointment until I walked out the door. I did a little research and found out that Nichole is a young entrepreneur and in the spirit of supporting a local talent I decided to visit to get my hair cut. Nancy was (and will continue to be) my stylist. She is friendly and took a lot of time to cut and style my hair and I will definitely be back to visit. Decent location, décor needs a little TLC but overall is stylish and the prices are more than reasonable. I would highly recommend to anyone to visit this salon!

I came here awhile back and got an amazing cut. I am super picky as I work in a salon with an incredibly talented staff and am accustom to the best. I was pleasantly surprised. The salon itself is not super fancy but is clean and organized. Nichole took us on time and was super sweet. She also gave my 4 year old son a really cute cut. He was hesitant since he is a loyal client of Rob at Inspire but Nichole’s sweet nature and pretty face got him. She even gave him a bag of skittles. He was stoked. I would be happy to cheat on my hairdresser with her again. PS… my hairdresser inspected my hair and confirmed it was a great cut (and she has 20 years experience).

I used my Groupon at Salon De Nicole for a wash, cut, and blow-​dry. Nicole was professional, personable, and gave me the cut I wanted and described to her. The salon is a nice little place that offers many services. It was a fun and easy cut. I would recommend this place.

Used my groupon today for a color and cut and I love it. Nicole did a great job and was very nice and welcoming. She offered me water and made me feel comfortable. The place is cute — not stuffy, but has a lot of cool touches — keurig machine — board games for kids, tons of magazines, tv on. Very nice. Nicole looked over my hair and asked what I wanted. When I told her I wanted to try red, she brought her swatches out and helped me pick the best color. She even looked at my wrist to see my skin tone, to help choose the right red. I am red now and I love it. She gives a great hair cut and since my hair is flat on top, she gave me a blow dry that pumped up my volume. Best blow out ever. High quality hair products. Very nice salon — give it a try, you’ll like it. Prices are reasonable too.

I had a facial today with Heidi that was great. The salon doesn’t look like anything fancy, but the facial room is comfortable and calming. She asked me a few questions about my skin and what I use on it and then used cleansers, moisturizers, and masks (among other things) to make it feel great. I’m excited to see how my skin looks and feels in the next few days. I purchased the facial on Groupon and it came with a foot and hand massage that was a nice addition. The groupon notwithstanding, her prices are great and I will definitely be returning.

Nicole did a great job listening to what I wanted and giving me a cut that got me feeling «interview ready.» And with $ 7 eyebrow threading? Yes please! I’ll be sure to go back for this service. The salon is cute and Nicole is very easy going and good at what she does. Thanks!
