Black Friday means the yearly release of Bourbon County Stout. Fans of this awesome craft beer scramble to ensure they don’t miss out on before gone till next year. Most every store has a one bottle limit due to the popularity and limited inventory.
I was able to track down several bottles across the area and was excited when I called Mendon liquors to learn they had some available. Now the four bottles I purchased were between 9 – 10 dollars at four different locations. When I arrived at Mendon liquors I was stunned to see they were charging 17.54 a bottle. This is a clear case of gouging, I’m a fan of supply and demand but this was outright a slap in the face to its customers. I live in Cumberland and do shop here occasionally and the best way to protest my displeasure is with my feet and my wallet by shopping elsewhere.
This is just bad business.
