My Handy Mom. LLC specializes in customer service and flexible cleaning schedules for all our clients. We operate very differently than most professional house cleaning services. We do NOT work in teams and your are NOT charged for cleaning time you didn’t use. We charge by the labor hour and you decide which rooms/​tasks are completed in your home. History

Established in 2004.

I, Tonya Sage, started this house cleaning business in the small town of Culver, Indiana as a way to supplement my husband’s income. I knew I wanted to be self-​employed but wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to do. A friend that owns a beauty salon helped me find my first few customers and I quickly found out I was very good at cleaning homes. Soon after that, the company quickly grew and I had to hire my first employees. From the beginning, I made sure My Handy Mom LLC stood out from the crowd and operated with the customer in mind, not necessarily my bottom line. Now we clean homes in Culver, Plymouth and Winamac, Indiana, with our sights set on the South Bend /​Mishawaka area.

Even since high school, my jobs/​career has centered around customer service. As I worked my way up the business ladder from kitchen help to Quality Coordinator in a factory, I quickly learned you won’t be in business long if you don’t keep your current customers happy. And… your business won’t grow if your current customers don’t rave about you to their friends. It’s just that simple.
