I was there last week. Mina and Jeff are both very nice people.
For some reasons, we could not get the expected result from IRS and Mina told me she will refund my payment in the next day
I loved her understanding and it values a lot.

If you’re working with her, be sure that you are working with a positive logical person.

Do not go to her for your taxes!!! I was always really happy with her work as she is very nice and seems knowledgeable but didn’t file my taxes correctly in 2013 and I’m now being hit with a huge tax bill and over $ 7000 in fines and interest.
It could cost you a lot of money if you go to her, I would definitely think twice before using her.

Mina is great in terms of her tax knowledge and gave me some invaluable tips, which is why I’m giving her 2 stars and not 1 based on the experience I had with her. I started by calling her office to get a quote for how much it would cost her to do my taxes and her assistant gave me an exact number. After I met with her, she told me the actual price would be triple what I was originally quoted. Not okay. So I talked her down, and she agreed that I could pay her $ 100 OVER the original quoted price. After I told her I had just gotten laid off. Really not ok since she should have honored the quoted price I was given over the phone. But I was already there, and we’d gone over everything so I told her that was fine as long as I could make monthly payments.
If that wasn’t bad enough, I looked at my bank ledger and she double charged me for the first month. When I called to tell them to reverse the charge, her receptionist was rude and unapologetic and said she would have to get back to me. 2 days went by and I still hadn’t heard from them so I called again. The receptionist said Mina would reverse the charges that day. I check my ledger 1 week later and still nothing. I call back a THIRD time and Mina has the nerve to tell me that she can’t reverse the charge so she just won’t charge me the final time. Hello? I just told you I’m not working right now, what makes you think I can afford to be double charged? Never an apology. Anybody think it’s ironic that someone who is supposed to be handling your numbers is exceptionally bad at managing their own accounts receivables and quoting prices? Never again

I am not a client of Mina’s and I’m very happy about that. I came to her office for a business meeting to offer services. I have to admit, I forgot the first meeting, apologized and said I’d meet her at office to make up for it. She kept me waiting for 35 minutes and wouldn’t even give me a nod through her window where I could see her. I finally up got and left and emailed her about another get together. She neither replied nor offered an apology for ignoring our meeting in her office. It seemed to me to be very spiteful and immature. I will never her give her my business.

I am so glad I found Mina and Westside Income Tax on Unilocal!After having used a large franchise last year who did absolutely nothing for me, Mina went through all my paperwork, applied the appropriate rules, and filed my individual return, my LLC return, and my daughter’s individual return.
She made the process so easy and was great about explaining everything too. She will be fixing errors from previous returns for me as well. Her prices were extremely fair and much more affordable than others I’ve spoken with. I will continue to use her for all of our tax needs and highly recommend her!

I found Westside Income Tax Services after quite a bit of research online. I was referred to some other tax offices by friends, but I decided to do this one on my own this time. I knew what I was looking for. I needed the following… tax law knowledge, great environment, personality, software technology, professionalism, problem-​solving, and convenience. (I don’t care for tax franchises; ie. H&R Block etc.) I have not been happy with my previous tax office so I decided this time to take the plunge and find someone new. I am very loyal, so I was looking for someone that I could stick with for the long haul. After reading all of the reviews; including the one or two negative ones, I still opted to give Mina a chance as s result of the favorable reviews. I know that you can’t please everybody ALL of the time, so based on the numbers I gave it a shot.
Well, Mina did my 2014 taxes. She was AWESOME!!! I have a somewhat difficult situation from a prior year that she was able to address. She is extremely knowledgable about tax law. I love the office environment and professionalism. I don’t like to go to offices that are flooded with people and result in long waits. Mina was on point and I’m so happy that I made the right choice. I’m sticking with her for the future. Great job Mina, and your staff was very personable as well. Prices are somewhat competitive, but please remember that you get what you pay for.

I have worked with Mina for 2 years, and she has been great. She helped me clear up some old matters with the state and get my money back. She works with me and my crazy hours and has recently moved her office so parking access is now super easy and the new neighborhood is great. I highly recommend her. I only recommend the professionals and place that I feel confident with and stand behind. There are only a handful, because for one I take someone’s professional reputation seriously and two, I don’t have time to write hundreds of reviews so I only write for the best.

Update on my intial review. If it seems to good to be true it usually is. This was the case with Mina. I have been audited by the IRS on EVERY year she filed for me. After she denied having any responsibility in the matter, she then offered to prepare each audit and go to one meeting with the auditor for a starting rate of $ 900 per year, and $ 100/​hr for all correspondence and additional meetings required. It was more than clear that my tax situation was way over her head. Thank God I found an accountant that handled all five years for $ 1200 and absolved me of over $ 20,000 that the IRS claimed I owed them, due to Mina’s «expertise».

I was looking for an accountant to help with my taxes and after reading a number of reviews, Mina seemed to be one of the least expensive accountants who had good reviews.
After calling multiple times and getting her voicemail, I finally got in touch with her early one morning and she called me back when she got into the office. She was flexible with her appointments and it’s nice that she offers evening hours.
The business is easy to find and there’s a lot of street parking nearby. The office is clean and comfortable. Mina is personable and professional. She did a great job going through my paperwork with me and she filed my taxes before I left. It was a seamless process. She is however, a little pricey which is one drawback but otherwise, I appreciated her services and expertise.

I found Westside Income Tax on Unilocal and was very pleased with the outcome, i got a much bigger return than if i were to do it myself. Mina was very efficient and helpful/​knowledgable. She was flexible with me and I really appreciate it.

Woohoo! I finally found a great tax person in my area. I’ve been going to H&R Block for years just because I was suspicious of all of those shady looking offices with clowns standing outside waving signs at me. H&R Block hasn’t been much better, I think they just have the clowns inside, doing the taxes. Mina at Westside Income Tax & Business Services was bright, personable and nice. I recommend her services and will be back next year!

MINA IS AMAZING!
If you are like me busy, most of the time have no idea where your brain is and haven’t done your taxes for 3 years this is the place to go to. I knew it was time to do all these taxes and to be honest I thought I was going to have to pay Uncle Sam a big check. Thankfully Mina took care of it! :)
The great thing about Mina is she finds things you don’t even realize can be deducted or for me I was never told its part of my business and can go towards my taxes. She will sit with you and pick your brain to see what else can be deducted to get you a better refund. If you have questions she will answer them and if you don’t understand she will explain it as many times as needed and without an attitude or making you feel stupid. She doesn’t rush though she is a busy woman which I admire very much and appreciate because she knows how important taxes are. I recommend Mina to anyone: D

Mina is awesome! My husband (Jon M) brought me here for the first time last year and we keep coming back.
Mina sits down with you and goes over everything. She’ll work those numbers to get you the best refund she possibly can. She’s super sweet and always remembers you. Tax time can be super stressful, but not here. You feel right at home and leave with a smile. Just make sure you have everything in order and prepared and you’ll be out of there in a flash.
Btw, her rates are really reasonable. How many forms and what kind of return you are doing determines the cost. It may be a bit more than H&R Block (crappiest place EVER), but it’s worth it to know you’re getting a knowledgeable professional. She has direct deposit for returns as well. The return comes in super quick.
