I love the great service of the Velvet bar at the Culver City Hotel ! Their great cocktail «Classic Eastside» was unbelievable! The bartender Mike is very friendly, professional and absolutely attentive!

This place is poppin! All love, kool people, and real chill. Took my baby here, as it was her 1st time vacationing in L.A. and she loved it too. Bar tenders were mad kool, and the drinks were average price for this part of L.A. Athough its about 5 – 10 min from Beverley Hills, there was no upscale hassle. The whole vibe was smooth & classy.

I originally brought my mother for her birthday to their Drag Brunch and we had a great time. I had purchased a groupon for their dinner show and wanted to come again to see of their evening shows. My mother unexpectedly had knee surgery and I wasn’t able to use it in time. I misread the voucher thinking it expired today, and it expired yesterday. I tried to call the box office and they were unable to do anything. I can understand if a lot of time had passed or if I didn’t have a good reason.
I don’t think I will bother coming to this establishment again since they were not willing to help us. They did offer me the amount I paid as a gift card, but I wanted to just see the show with my mom.

This is a go-​to spot for me whenever I want to have a cocktail or two with friends. The ambiance is great and super comfortable when it’s not very crowded. The drinks are strong but delicious and they have pretty good service, I would say. I think sometimes when it gets really busy, the bartenders get a little overwhelmed and don’t do that great about keeping track of who’s next, but they do make really good cocktails so I think they’re worth the wait.
I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone who is looking for a small, intimate place to hang with friends and grab a quick drink. I’ve never had the food but I’m sure it’s pretty good since there is a restaurant downstairs too.

Whenever I go out, I think of Hollywood, Sunset, West LA, Hermosa, or SD. Culver City is a new frontier for me.
A buddy of mine from undergrad lived in the area during school, and he brought me here. I never knew about this enclave and its lively nightlife. I most definitely did not know about this lounge. It is found in the Culver Hotel on the second floor. A short walk up the stairs will get you here. This lounge has a compact New York feel. It’s dark and intimate, with plenty of seating. The crowd is classy, and it has a very relaxed vibe.
I had a shot of vodka here. My buddy had a beer. We hung out for a bit, then moved on to the next spot. However, I liked the environment here and will be coming back.

Perfect hidden bar with plush couches, mood lighting and delicious cocktails. It’s easy to lose track of time here, especially with great company. Just up a set of stairs from the Culver Hotel Bar. Will definitely come back here :)

Super cool little bar hidden at the back of the Culver Hotel Bar up a set of stairs. Very small and intimate, it allows you to sit back, relax, and enjoy a great cocktail made by one of the dapper looking bartenders. I ordered a yellow brick cocktail. Really nice and easy to drink, a little tart and just a hint of sweetness. The price of cocktails are on par with the rest of CC bars, so if you’re looking for an intimate space to enjoy a quiet drink, come here!
