Wth, I had a gift certificate as well and they kept a record in the files about how much I had left. I can’t believe they didn’t notify their clients before closing. I am so upset!

I was about to make an appointment with my $ 200.00 gift certificate my son gave me as a gift. I came to Unilocal to see what services to get and that’s how I found out it’s gone. I am so pissed. My son couldn’t afford this gift but did it anyway and now it’s a total loss. Like Julie J. said… wth!!!

Have a $ 100 gift cert that I obviously can’t use anymore. WTH?!

OMG! just found out Lounge Spa closed! I was on mailing list and never was notified.
With a $ 130 gift certificate!

I used to live in LA and Nicole was my go to therapist. Now that the lounge spa is closed, I am trying to find out where Nicole works currently — does anybody have an idea? I hope so, I miss her!

The lounge spa is closed? Forever? Forever ever? Best spa day of my life was spent here with my girls. I cannot even imagine where we could have a similar experience. I need to be alone with my feelings now.

I’m so bummed to have discovered they’re now closed. My husband and I came for an anniversary couples massage which was wonderful, and I still have a gift certificate that now I won’t be able to use. So disappointing!!!

I do write this review with bitter taste in my mouth due to the mixed emotions I’m going through and here is why… Yesterday I finally got around to do my first visit to the famous Lounge spa and it was fantastic experience I can go on and on about all the details and thoughts that Alice put into the Spa from decoration to atmosphere and the relaxed vibe throughout simply put fantastic taste.
I’m happy I got to enjoy the experience however very sad I will not get to enjoy some more over and over and over … and that is my fault I should have come here much sooner alas life goes on and I want to wish the Owner best of Luck with her next adventure which I’m sure it will be another A+ judging by the current business she owns
I have to do a shout out to Trudy you gave me a fantastic massage with great care to pressure and comfort throughout the experience. I’m sure any other spa would love to have you on their team your hands are heavenly blessed

Went to the VIP party and enjoyed all the lovely vendors. The DJ and cocktails were fun too. I even won something at the raffle. Can’t wait to come back to try the services.

My favorite spa in the LA/​SoCal area, hands down.
You will be pampered. You will feel amazing after whatever treatment you select. Plus, their hospitality is second to none. Alice and Dawn will always be my go-​tos when I need to take care of myself.

So these people are pretty amazing and not just the normal «good service» amazing.
I got out of work one day exhausted and achy. On a whim I decided to get a massage. I found this place really close to my work so I drove down and came in. I asked if there were any availability for massage and they informed me all the masseuses had gone home already (was around 6) but they would be happy to check if someone would be willing to come in. I couldn’t believe they would do that for me!
Sure enough one of the ladies that works there said she would come in so meanwhile i had a nice dinner while I waited for her.
The experience was wonderful. She was amazing and it was so relaxing. Exactly what I needed. I made sure I tipped her generously for having come out all the way for me. Wonderful people.

My boyfriend and I are really into getting massages in New York and was looking for one in LA. We stumbled on The Lounge Spa on Unilocal and weren’t disappointed! Really loved the fact that the staff were all so kind and you got your own robe to walk around in :) My massage felt so good I fell asleep! I’m usually very sensitive to pain and I always have to tell the masseuse to be lighter but I only had to tell her in the beginning and it was great. You can take as long as you want lounging around after the massage to read some magazines or take a shower! Really hard not to like this place.

My husband surprised me with a spa package here, and it was wonderful. The lounge is clean, comfortable, and everyone was friendly and professional. I had a facial with Anniko and a massage with Dawn. The facial was very relaxing, not very painful, and she shared a lot of tips for proper skin care. Dawn was also very gentle. She began the massage asking me for my preferences and and about any injuries. She too gave me tips on how to keep my feet feeling good– I work am on my feet all day, usually in heels.
Afterwards I relaxed in their lounge upstairs that had a lot of diffused natural light and chaise lounges. After munching on a complimentary granola bar, I changed and used their beauty vanity to finish my hair and makeup before starting my day again.
Overall it was very peaceful. Only thing I would change is less saxophone for the music and add a steam room. I definitely would have stayed longer if there was another amenity.
I recommend this for couples, individuals, or bachelorette parties.

I have been to both locations and I will say I like the new location better. I wanted to plan a special treat for my boyfriend’s birthday so I wanted to start off our day with a Couples Massage. We are bicoastal and he was coming for the Christmas weekend and I made the appointment weeks in advanced. The week of our appointment I ended up coming down with a cold, I was advised to move the date + my go to gal Shannon was not going to be able to keep our original appointment. We moved it to Saturday and everything was perfect.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a friendly welcome, got our robes & slippers and had arrived early so we got to enjoy the co-​ed lounge. Shannon & Nicole took us to our suite and we explained what we were looking for in our massages. It was my boyfriend’s first massage and I appreciate Nicole being so detailed with my boyfriend and letting him know about the post massage aches & to hydrate. She did such a great job on him he passed out. Shannon was great and worked around my post-​cold aches with ease. She help my knock out some knots and left me feeling so relaxed. Both ladies constantly checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable.
My boyfriend and I wanted to head home quickly and take a nap that we totally missed the birthday cake surprise the ladies had arranged for him! THANK YOU SO MUCH for that! He loved his cake! He’s a BIG chocolate fan and we indulged it quickly!
Next time we’re in town we WILL be back!

I love this Spa! My girlfriends and I brought our bride to be friend here for her bridal shower and we had an absolutely fabulous time. We booked a room for couple hours and decorated the place for our friends. Went in, changed into our robes and sipped on some wine while we watched sex in the city and had our girly talks. This place is amazing! The service and massage was unbelievable! If you’re planning you’re next girls day out, be sure to check this place out!

Ok, so let’s start from the beginning…
This place is located in a busy shopping center among Starbucks, Chipotle and a few other eateries. The parking lot could get full easily but I happen to be there at a good time. Parking is free, big win!
I arrived about 15 minutes before my appointment for a facial. The receptionist showed me to the women’s lounge and provided me with a robe and slippers. I then waited in their co-​ed lounge area for about five minutes before my facial.
Overall I got the feel of a Korean day spa meets massage envy type of place. They’re going for a modern, cute look but it’s not quite there w the current décor/​setup.
I had an absolute facial by Dawn. She was very friendly and walked me through the different things she was doing. She gave me some recommendations on how to take better care of my skin. I didn’t feel that she gave me the pushy sales person like attitude I’ve received before in other spas. This was a big win for me.
Overall my experience was good. But here’s my «but» … I think that $ 80 (50 min) for a facial is a little expensive for this place. If it had a $ 55 price tag on it, I’d say go here for sure.

Love the new location, same parking lot as Starbucks (: we got the couples massage, 50 minutes in a couples room. We got the same masseurs as last time! They said they remembered us, that was cool (: excellent customer service here. I’m recovering from liposuction, three weeks post op, and my masseur was soooooo cautious and accommodating, I was totally pain free and it felt good! (After liposuction you feel like you got beat up, that’s why this is remarkable!)
I totally recommend this place, it is nice and relatively inexpensive. Try it out ! (:
