Friendly, fast service with excellent results. Can’t complain about the price because the work is done beautifully and delivered when you want it. No need to go elsewhere!

Absolutely great tailor! It’s a tiny shop with just one guy working but he’s super helpful and nice.
I had a polo a size too wide, but perfect length, that I needed the next day. He was willing to rush and get it done. So helpful.
In the same trip, I had pants but didn’t need them right away… he had everything done within 24 hours.

Ramiro is great!
He does quality work, quickly, and although he can be expensive, I TRUST him. I trust him with cheap clothes to make them look expensive, and expensive clothes to make them perfect. I have taken dozens of things to him, and will continue to do so. Use your best judgement for your wallet, but I will pay for quality!

I’ve been going to Paris Tailors since I moved to LA in 2011. Today I stopped by to have a gown hemmed. I was quoted $ 96 for the hemming. I was appalled. The year before I paid $ 60 to have a gown of the exact same material with an additional layer hemmed. I walked right out of the store. They’ve priced themselves out of the market. I won’t be going back.

Great service, quick turn around. Had a shirt taken in and pants hemmed with same day service, measurements only took 5 minutes. Great people, great work.

$ 48 to hem a skirt? Eh no thanks. That’s about what I paid for the item. These prices are ridiculous.

Mr. Ramiro Rodriguez is top-​notch.
I have been going to him since 2000. He has never disappointed. People keep talking about prices, but Mr. Rodriguez is much cheaper than most places, and he is willing to do some tailoring on items that others won’t.
For example, whenever I lose weight — and I need to have coats taken down a few sizes, which has happened a lot over the past six years — other tailors have either said «it can’t be done» or they have quoted me some astronomical price.
Mr. Rodriguez has always surprised me with his detail, and his work.
The clothes are always ready when he says they will be, and he stands behind his work.
I would go to him more often — if he were a bit closer to me. The only «downside» — to balance this review: he does not take credit cards.
I also used to have a problem with him closing at 5:30P — until I realized the poor man gets there early in the mornings, so he can accommodate you.
Give him a try.

I am a stickler for perfectly fitted clothes. Everything in my wardrobe is tailored within an inch of it’s life, thanks to Paris Alterations. I have no hesitation in entrusting all my very best and most favorite clothes to Mr. Rodriguez. Every person needs a good tailor, and this place is good, very good.

They seem to really care about doing a good job and I trust them with any piece of clothing. They are a tad expensive but it doesn’t make sense to save a couple bucks for inferior work.

I concur with previous poster Art L. I went to Mr. Rodriguez on the account of excellent Unilocal reviews and location. I went to his shop to see about having a couple of suits and a dress shirt tailored.
Mr. Rodriguez is very nice and courteous but the prices he quoted were almost double what I am used to paying, even in LA. For the price he quoted to adjust the sleeves on the dress shirt, I was better off returning it (it was a gift) and getting something else.
I asked if he could come down on price a little but was denied. If the prices were more comparable, I would certainly be willing to give shop a try.

Mr. Rodriguez is as talented a tailor as he is charming – which is to say, VERY! At the recommendation of a friend, my boyfriend and I brought his brand-​new Joseph Abboud suit to Paris Tailors to have it altered a couple of weeks before a friend’s wedding. Mr. Rodriguez did a terrific job of altering the suit, so much so that it appeared Joseph Abboud had custom-​designed it for my boyfriend! The fee for the tailoring services was extremely reasonable (MUCH cheaper than Elias Custom Tailoring, which was closer to our home) and his work was excellent. What more can one ask for in a tailor?

I would like to say first I am sure Mr Rodriguez is a great tailor, is very expensive for the not so difficult task of hemming my daughter’s prom dress the request was to take of about 1 ½ inches off the bottom and the price he quoted was just a expensive as the cost of the dress. I thanked him for his time and it was clear to me he was not happy we where not leaving the dress. I told him I was a Unilocal-​er maybe help bring the price down a little but it was still the same price, he did not seem to care at that point.

Fantastic family owned shop with people who take real pride in their work. Some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet as well. I took in two suit jackets to get altered. Having it fit by a real tailor makes a huge difference in the look. Definitely recommended!

I was referred to this place and am very glad I went. Over the years, I have been storing some articles of clothing to eventually take to a Tailor — well, I was going on vacation recently and ‘push-​came-​to-​shove’! Paris Tailors is a classy, old-​school place. Not only is the owner, Ray, amazing, but he accommodated my time frame and got the fixes I needed done fast! Zipper fixes, tears, etc. He even fixed a small tear that I didn’t ask to have done on the back of my pants! The price and the service was stellar, so I tipped him on top of everything. Ramiro is the wonderful! He’s a very sweet man and very meticulous in his work. We’ve been bringing our clothes to him for over 10 years. Admittedly, not the cheapest place to get tailoring done but definitely the BEST!

Took BF’s trousers there for a new zipper. $ 22 was quoted, $ 20 was charged because all I had on me were $ 20’s. Or maybe because I told him I’d Unilocaled about it???
