Motion Wellness & Chiro – Po Leknickas

I have been to many chiropractors and this is by far the worst one. I came in with a simple neck misalignment and he not only failed to correct that but caused an ENTIRELY NEW INJURY in my lower back. I was in tears from the pain and it has not gotten better. Nothing like this has ever happened before. Please do not trust this chiropractor.

Great experience overall. The initial exam /​interview was very thorough, and the office is clean, modern, and comfortable. Dr. Po is very polite and explains what he’s doing and why. But most importantly, his diagnosis and method of treatment has been extremely effective for my issues. I’ve been to other chiros, PT, and a surgeon… none of who actually diagnosed my issue properly, apparently, as Dr. Po figured out the root cause of my pain on day one, treated it, and my pain disappeared almost instantly. That was something I didn’t think was possible considering my injury history, and experience with other treatments. Highly recommended.
Also, you can make appts via text message, which I love.

I think he’s a great doctor, but I would recommend him only to cash clients or in-​network patients.
Dr Po is a great chiropractor, but confusion over insurance billing left me feeling unsatisfied. After repeated assurance from Dr Po about my insurance coverage, it turned out to be a different story.
I understand that insurance companies are fickle and a headache for doctors and patients alike, but I felt in this case that expectations set by Dr Po weren’t realistic, looking back. It doesn’t help that it was months before my claims were submitted, and it was not a visit or two, but 20 or so before the actual insurance benefits were determined.
If he does take your insurance, verify! Are you in network or out of network? What exactly is the charge? What is your potential liability down the road? When will you be certain of your rate? Going forward, it will definitely be a discussion I have with each and every doctor I see!

I came to Dr. Po because of an athletic injury. The injury was slowly getting worse and saw a doctor who recommended I get some chiro treatment. Even after the first session with Dr. Po, I had noticeable relief. He was very professional, comforting and knowledgeable. I felt like he genuinely cared about getting me better and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Po, he is great!

Dr. Po is AWESOME. I don’t know why I thought he was Chinese before I met him. Oops. Too much Mulan. Anyway, I had two «twisted vertebrae» that were killing me at my previous job, and I went through about 3 months of treatment that made it a lot better… but I changed jobs and just went to Dr. Po for the first time today.
OMG. His chiropractic care is revolutionary compared to my old Dr., and I thought that guy was good. Dr. Po explained all my issues to me and helped me understand that my many strange little ailments are all related.
Going forth, I will get treated by Dr. Po to elongate my scrunched up spine, continue to get tips, and just GET BETTER! I know he is going to help me feel normal again (although being a pain has become my new normal)…
I HIGHLY suggest that you go to Dr. Po. if you have any back /​spine ailments and issues. Amazing.

Dr Po is friendly, approachable and takes his time with his patients. He explains EVERYTHING and gives you the ‘why’ not just the ‘what’ of what is going on with your body. His methods are evenly matched with the symptoms — he doesn’t just want to crack bones because it makes a cool noise. His office is clean, modern and understated.
I went in with neck and back issues and he made huge improvement in the first visit. I’m planning to see him regularly.

Dr. Po is polite and knows what he’s doing. He’s the man. He fixed my neck it was crooked for two days. One session with him and it was over. Feeling much better now.

A great place for wellness! As a fitness professional and mom I need to keep my body in great working order! After having been traumatically jarred in a car accident I was in pain or discomfort every day. I have been coming here regularly for about a month and am experiencing a clear and swift recovery. I highly recommend motion wellness and specifically Dr Po — knowledgable — more than capable — clean and very friendly. I always leave my appointment with an extra spring in my step!

I went to Dr. Po after years of lower back discomfort. At my initial visit, Dr. Po explained the adjustment process and answered all my questions. After my first visit I noticed a difference. I signed up for a series of treatments and I am very pleased. My back feels better and my mobility has also improved. He is very thorough and takes his time. He stretches your problem areas and then proceeds with the adjustment.
I was so pleased with the service that I also brought my mother who had been suffering from arthritis pain and sciatic nerve pain. She is also pleased with her results. Her pain has significantly decreased and her mobility has gotten a lot better. Dr. Po has an excellent bedside manner and I have learned so much about the effects of chiropractic medicine on the body. If you’re new to chiropractic medicine or are looking to change your current Chiropractor, definitely go to Dr. Po.

I have had a pinched nerve in my lower back for the last 4 years. I have seen other chiropractors on a regular basis with no luck. I went to see Dr. Po and after only a month of sessions, the pain subsided. Dr. Po was attentive when I told him the problems with my back and posture. His adjustments helped a great deal, and even more helpful were the stretches and exercises he demonstrated for me. I have been free of pain for the last few months and my health and life has dramatically and positively changed. I continue to recommend him to friends and family.

Dr. Po is wonderful. Definitely not the quick, jarring experience I’ve had with other chiropractors. I drive all the way from the East side to see him. He takes his time and I feel like I understand my spine and body better because of it.

I’ve seen quite a few chiropractors over the years and consider Dr. Po at the top of the list! He really takes his time with each patient and is very thorough. He has worked on my neck and lower back problems, and advised me of stretches and exercises to do in between appointments. I feel stronger, more aligned and have much less pain than ever before! Plus, scheduling through his office is super easy and they take my insurance. I have referred a couple of friends and they all call raving about Dr. Po!!!

Dr. Po is AMAZING! I saw the other reviews and had to try him out. No wonder he has 5 stars. He’s thorough, takes his time, explains everything in terms I can understand and the prices were reasonable. Definitely worth his weight his in gold!

Dr. Po is a wonderful chiropractor and I am so happy I found him. I was rear-​ended and had pretty bad whip-​lash which was leading to constant headaches. In a pretty short time, he has gotten me back to normal; the headaches, neck stiffness, and pain are all gone. He is the best.

Dr. Leknickas has helped me tremendously. He’s been able to get movement in my locked-​up lower spine, which has helped my arthritis-​related hip and leg pain. He also discovered and continues to loosen kinks in my middle back and neck that I wasn’t aware of.
He’s very thorough; he’ll review your medical history, medications, etc. to decide the best course of treatment for you. Another reason for this recommendation — he customizes his care, treating you based on the symptoms you’re currently experiencing, rather than simply repeating the same treatment from last time. And he never gives you the bum’s rush.
Other pluses — a reasonable fee structure and free parking in the back. There is a massage therapist and an acupuncturist on site, as well.

I’m sorry, but when you go see a chiropractor and they adjust your KNEE and HIP… I mean, I didn’t know that was even possible! But he is that thorough and knowledgeable. He truly has helped me alleviate my back and hip pain, as well as give me suggestions on how to help myself to feel good on a daily basis – which I need since I’m on the floor and playing with my two year old all day.

I found Dr. Leknickas by chance. I had recently lost my insurance and my prior chiropractor and was looking for a new one. I was driving down Ocean Park Blvd and saw the banner for chiropractic care and called immediately! I even went in that same day and met with Dr. L, he was great! I have been going ever since.
I’m very active– I run, hike, do boxing, yoga, pilates, etc. but I’m also very clumsy and get hurt a lot! Without chiropractic care I would be in a lot of pain but now I have Dr. L to put me back together and he does just that everytime I see him! I’m glad to have found him and I highly recommend him.

Unfortunately my health insurance doesn’t cover chiropractic healthcare. Dr. Leknickas’s monthly membership is a great value! You pay $ 89 and you can get adjusted as often as is necessary during the month. He takes the time and listens to your needs. If you don’t have insurance and need a good place to go, I highly recommend his office. Conveniently located in the same office area is also a acupuncturist and a massage therapist. Having the ability to visit all three in the same building is FANTASTIC! I will definitely recommend Dr. Leknickas to all my friends and co-​workers!

Got a much needed adjustment from Dr. P. today. Now I’m all set for a good St. Patty’s!!!
