My daughter loved her classes at LASG. I have very fond memories of the gym and fun filled Saturdays in Los Angeles.

Great camp, teaches quickly, but often, the aftercare is boring mostly sitting down, watching other gymnasts participate in their classes, while only some days they allow you to join a class. .Also the after care is a little expensive

Ive been sending my daughter here for over a year now. She loves her rhythmic gymnastics class. The teachers are all super motivated and give a lot of attention to detail. When the class gets too full, they add another teacher and in our case, started another class. We’re very happy here!

I love this place! I was looking for places my daughter can attend during summer. When I first called they were very helpful. I got an appointment and came in, they were very nice and helped me out with any concerns I had. My daughter just finished her 8 week program. I got to say she is very happy here I seen how much she has learn. Coach Irma is so sweet and caring about her students. My daughter loves her!
I love how they don’t try to push you to enroll. There package are very reasonable as well.

I have very active twin 6 year old boys who can be quite a handful. As they have had OT issues we were advised to try gymnastics. We first tried the gymnastics camp last winter break and my boys loved it. Since then we have enrolled them in a regular class and I am really happy with the school.
The coach, Mark, is great with the boys — firm but lots of fun. He has to manage quite a few younger boys and he does so very well. His coaching is great and the boys love to show us their new skills. He sets a good example in class and am very happy my boys have him as a coach.
The administrative staff have always been polite and helpful. They have had to vary the class times twice but have always let us know well in advance.
The classes are a pleasant part of our regular schedule.

I’ve been here a couple times when I was looking for places for my brother
As I was waiting to speak to someone and was practically ignored most of time
I saw atleast two coaches looking for the same little girl cause they lost her at some point and having been there a while the little girl noticed me and approached me and when she told me her name I knew she was the girl the foaches had lost
She sat there while thy walked right past her about three times before I finally said this is Charlotte! The girl whose name you keep shouting out and they finally noticed her
I realized that wasn’t the place for my little brother and left also not wanting to wait even longer just to speak to someone
I wanna pay someone to teach my brother gymnastics not pay them to lose track of him

My 4 year old son is going here for his first gymnastics class and they don’t mess around here! They are really strict and want the kids to be very focused during class. That being said my son has a lot of fun and is pooped after class. The parking is tight and the valet fills up so get here a lil early to avoid parking hassles.

I had to edit. I love this gym more and more each week. Our instructor is amazing and really bolsters my confidence. All the students are so sweet and supportive and the advanced students jump in and lend a hand. Top notch. Kick ass workout. And serious fun!!!

I was looking around to find an after school activity for my daughter and I came across LA School of Gymnastics. When I walked in I was immediately welcomed with warm smiles on the faces of the staff. Initially I had just gone in for some information and to see what the classes were about and everyone was very helpful when I had questions regarding the classes.
This was my first time signing up my daughter to gymnastics classes and she loved it! The coaches were very helpful, patient, and understanding. My daughter and I love LA School of Gymnastics!

I’m updating my review because I guess sometimes it truly takes patience… it is worth giving people a chance to improve, because sometimes you get priceless rewards in the end.
I wrote in 2013 that the owners have genuinely been doing what they can to improve the experience at the gym for both the kids and parents. I want to applaud them for taking the steps to improve the customer experience.
Nearly 2 years later, I want to thank LASG for taking customers’ reviews, both good and bad, to heart. I’ve remained a loyal customer/​parent to the school because I believe in the stellar coaching at LASG. But now, I can confidently show full appreciation for the staff and their attentiveness toward maintaining a positive experience for my children.
Unforeseen circumstances dictated that I would have to pull my children out of the school for an indefinite period of time. This upset my children, but I did not think I had much choice. When I explained to Tanya that I would need to pull my kids out, she was very empathetic and worked with me to accommodate my family’s unique situation. This type of service is unmatched and I am very grateful to the school for putting my kids’ well-​being first. Additionally, my daughter simply loves Alla; I appreciate the confidence building, flattery, warmth… with just the right amount of discipline… that my daughter receives from her.
Lastly…office organization has improved tremendously. They are operating more efficiently now than I’ve ever seen. I’m seeing a lot of new faces in the gym (both kids and adults), which means they are successfully driving business and retaining them.
Often times, businesses say they care about what their customers think, but don’t really take any action. Congratulations to LASG for helping set the precedent for client service improvement and customer satisfaction. And thank you so very much for being understanding to challenges that come up along the way for families and accommodating their needs.

Once I was open to a redo I wasn’t disappointed at all. I do think I owe the LASG a apology for being so mean in my review. I got a phone call from Tanya who wanted me to give LASG a second chance. I did and I regret my harsh words, this SCHOOL IS AWESOME. OMG my son had a great time and was disappointed when we had to to leave. The coach was very patient with my little bundle of monster energy. I would like to say first impressions is how most people operate both in business and personal. I think we should rethink the whole «first impression» rule, or most people will miss out on GREATNESS!

I have been coming to LASG for about 3 months now and love it! It’s an open gym so you get to meet a lot of great people and see all different levels of gymnastics, from cheer teams and people prepping for competition to folks just wanting to get in a fun work out and do some tumbling. I would definitely suggest any of the open adult classes to people like myself who are amateurs but eager to learn. All the coaches are super helpful and make you feel relaxed. I take private lessons with Jason and he is amazing! He’s really laid back but also super tough! He does a great job of explaining things and pushing you past your comfort zone. I’m working on my splits and backhand spring and have come so far thanks to Jason! I definitely would suggest this place to anyone, whether you’re a beginner or pro!

My daughter had the time of her life at LASG and will be a new student. The staff is amazing and patient and knows how to make a little girl feel extremely special

More Olympians come out of here for a reason! The classes are structured well, not too many people in one class
The facility is huge! They have everything and when I say everything I mean I had to ask what things were!
Expensive for a reason you get what you pay for here. So shut up sit down and pay attention!

I just recently visited LA School of Gymnastics with my niece, fulfilling my yearly aunt duties ;), and I have to say I was very impressed with the way the handled the girls during their practice. Alex, my niece, is in the Power Tumbling class right now and all I could imagine was a circus show of kids running around everywhere but not here!
The class was very organized, the coaches provided order and extreme patience. One of the younger girls even began to cry and one of the coaches was quick to take her to the side, cheer her up, and have back out there not letting anything in the program skip a beat!
The facility was very clean as well! I am always impressed when kids are involved how clean some places are. When we lived back in Seattle I took my niece to her former gym and there was spilled snacks in the seating area, juice boxes left everywhere, and empty wrappers lined the halls. Not this place! They constantly had staff going around picking up their practice area and ensuring everything was in its place.
Last but not least LA Gymnastics has been a saving grace for my sister and her husband. Moving to a new area and school district can be hard on any kid. This place has help build friendships for their daughter that will last forever!

I used to live in Los Angeles and have been meaning to catch up on writing reviews for places I have enjoyed while living there!
This place is one that stands out as a place I always enjoyed helping with. In the past I have helped them with competitions. The skills of the students and coaches is extremely impressive! Clients of mine who have brought their children to this gymnastics place have nothing but positive things to say as well!
The staff is some of the best in the gymnastics world. Their skills won’t disappoint!

Of all the schools I’ve been to, this one stands out among the rest, as the worst school. When I arrived the office was chaotic. The manager «Tanya», had me standing at the window for a good 15 mins while she was yelling at another staff member in a very unprofessional way.
After she finally finished yelling, she looked right at me and instead of helping me, she then turned her back to me without any acknowledgment and sat at her desk!!!
At this point, I had enough and decided to walk away. I can TOTALLY relate to the other reviewers experiences. The poor customer service here is unbelievable!
I went home and decided to look for another school. When I did, I also came across another review that said Tanya was arrested for under the influence of controlled substance. I’m glad I got away from this place when I did. I hope other parents and kids do too. BEWARE!

My son has been coming here for the past 6 months and loves it! He always comes home excited to show me something new he learned. It’s the perfect place for kids– fun, safe and educational! Also very cost friendly. What else could a mother ask for?
I’ve also met a good amount of the staff and I know my son is in good hands. Everyone is friendly and professional. My son adores them. They also seem to really care about the kids as well as the parents. Always striking up a conversation when they get the chance and letting me know how my son is doing.
If you’re looking for a gym that you can trust with your kid, I’d highly recommend LA School of Gymnastics!
