The staff are super helpful and professional. Doctor Pittman is amazing and thorough. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a place for circumcision. Our son was very well cared for. We are very happy customers :)

If you have any hesitation make sure you read their website, it is very informative and also the nurses and the doctor makes you feel at ease. I was very resistant at first for my nephews circumcision, but after talking with the nurses and seeing first hand how my nephew recuperated very well I would say I recommend Gentle Circumcision

This is a great place. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. They make you feel comfortable and informed. This is my second time using Gentle Circumcision. I would recommend it to anyone. Not just for the people there but because it’s in my opinion better for the child. It’s cleaner and makes it easier to take care of.

We had our son’s circumcision done at Gentle Circumcision. We were very happy with the service we got. When we initially went in we had to wait because they got backed up. Since we were nervous the nurse in the front was very reassuring that it’s a simple procedure and did her best to help us relax. The doctor came in and explained the whole procedure to us, as well as the nurse. At our follow up appointment the doctor came and explained to us what on going care was needed. I was impressed by this because I’ve been places where you go to a doctor and only see them when absolutely necessary. I appreciated very much that he came and talked to us. It is a hard thing to go through because you may hear your baby crying, but it’s an uncomfortable procedure so crying should be expected. They ask for a bottle and/​or pacifier and a blanket to make the baby as comfortable as possible. It has been 20 days since we had the procedure done and our son has healed very well. I would highly recommend going here. They don’t accept insurance but it’s well worth the money you pay out of pocket.

Love love love this place, it’s very affordable compared to cedar Sinai that I had my baby. … the staff is friendly the doctor knows what he’s doing. …I could go on and on but I would say give them a try ur son will thank u when he’s older lol. …I would totally come back again

Getting circumcision but my prayers were answered when I found this clinic because of Unilocal.I first talked to the secretary about the process and Cindy was informative and polite and told me exactly what to do. Then I met Dr Pittman and he saw my son and examined him before the procedure. The doctor answered all my questions before starting and was very nice. After that he gave my son pain medication first and waited before even doing the procedure. That was great! My son afterwards said the procedure went fine and only the injection of the numbing medication hurt. My son was able to go home and he rested the whole day. All in all, it was great experience with The secretaries and Dr Pittman. Thank you guys! I work as an RN and I know how hard doctors and staff work.

Dr. Pittman and his staff are very professional and friendly. Before the appointment and after the procedures, they went through all the details and answered our questions to make sure we feel comfortable. So far good experience.

Dr. Pittman was awesome with my nephew. I could hear other babies being circumcised and they did not cry much at all. Very comforting. The baby had his check up today and it was quick and painless.

Dr. Pittman is the man. He is very professional and informative made our visit well worth the drive. And not to mention the staff was amazing. The ladies where very informative and understanding. Thank you ladies for making it comforting.

Never going back. I took my 7 year old son who thankfully didn’t get the surgery. According to the doctor he isn’t a good candidate due to him being fat and then he goes and starts explaining with detail how I have to take him to the hospital so they can do it and how they would have to staple his penis to his body for it to heal properly. Yes he said all this in front of my son who by then is crying his lungs out and in fear because someone just told him his penis was going to be stapled to the side. Oh and be prepared to spend money you will have to buy the medicine and pay the doctor before you even get an evaluation. You will get a refund on the surgery fee but the over $ 150 dollars on medicine are gone due to the receptionist not giving it back to you because you won’t need it and they are required to dispose of it. This place was recommended by my doctors along with two other places. My son was a premie and my insurance wouldn’t cover the cost because they said it was a cosmetic surgery. So when I called down here I was very happy they would take my son cause a lot of other places wouldn’t do it cause of his age but I couldn’t do it earlier because of everything that had happened. So my options in places were very limited but I’m glad it was because this place was great. The entire staff is super friendly and the doctor did a great job. I just had my sons follow up visit and the ring had just came off the night before so what’s nice is for the next check up I just have to take pictures and if nothing looks conveying I won’t have to go back down there again which is GREAT cause I live all the way out in Santa Clarita and with traffic in the morning it takes me 2 hours to get down there when without traffic still takes 40 mins… So that saves me gas! Only thing I would like to see is validating parking tickets, I already paid out of pocket for procedure so it would just be nice to save a little money. Other then that I would recommend this place to anyone!!!

after 2 years of thinking i finally came in today for a circumsition. friendly staff and the procedure was fast and painless. definetly recommend.

First and foremost, if you are feeling nervous, go to the office’s website
it was very informative and extensive. I appreciate the amount of info on the site, it shows that the staff worked hard to make sure the patients and parents are well-​informed. Admittedly, having been armed with information helped me feel more confident about the procedure.
I brought my 2-​week old to Dr. Pittman’s office. I was referred to the office by my pediatrician, Dr. Julie Douglass in Torrance. Dr. Pittman and his staff were extraordinarily professional and even more reassuring and helpful.
The office is well maintained with three exam rooms, a restroom, front waiting area and a back waiting room where you will wait to receive your baby when the procedure is done.
Scheduling an appointment was very easy. Have a debit card ready to pay the $ 20 reservation fee because the appointments fill up quickly. (Read and then re-​read again the «Preparing your baby for his circumcision day» online, your son will thank you for it.
The check in process was very straight forward. Save time with forms by printing them out and completing at home before your appointment. We were handed a lovely folder with aftercare instructions and a card with our next appointment in center view!
Cindy exuded very strong confidence in her abilities and showed great care for my baby.
Dr. Pittman will go over the procedure in detail before the surgery. I had a lot of questions and every one of them were answered, I didn’t even need to ask.
The procedure only took about 15 minutes. Reed didn’t cry whatsoever during the injection of lidocaine (which would be the most painful part) but I did hear him cry a bit during the procedure (due to discomfort of being restrained, or perhaps because he just needed to burp, which he did when Cindy picked him up)
He was brought to me right after the procedure, no crying or signs of discomfort.
We were given aftercare instructions (tip, pick up medication before procedure if you wish, as I anticipated Reed to be fussy after the ordeal, it saved me the time having to wait in line with a crying baby)– if insurance doesn’t cover cost of supplies, it will run $ 17.50– you will receive an oral acetaminophen and an ointment to apply topically to the area)
The procedure was very straightforward and we were out the door in an hour from start to finish.
I enjoyed the calm music playing in the office and the friendly office staff. They treated Reed as if he was their own son :)
Currently, baby is happily sleeping!
Bottom line– I would recommend Dr. Pittman to my friends (one of which has a baby due in January!) :D

I am here today writing about my entire experience with my circumcision procedure. So I looked online n compared where I would like to go n get my procedure done for months and I finally decided to come to Gentle Circumcision .
My choice was the right one. I confirmed that it was because of the way the receptionist handled the phone call. She was very sweet, very informative and not to say very comforting. She built my confidence and allowed the fear in me to disappear … THANKS
So I made my appointment and went in to the office to actually get the procedure completed. Not knowing what to expect, I was well received by the staff. Everyone was so kind n courteous. I was escorted to the room, all nervous and then …
I got ready According to the sweet nurses instructions and waited for the doctor to come in. When the doctor came into the room, he was very polite, thorough and was very much sure about all that he was telling me about what he was about to do.
After chatting with him for a few minutes, he injected me n all I felt was a pinch. The rest of the operation I didn’t feel no pain. All nervous still, he was explaining most of what he was doing n before I knew it he was bandaging me up n sending me home… GREAT JOB DOC
So I went home to start the healing process. He gave me some antibiotics n some pain killers to drink for seven days. The healing is a very uncomfortable process, but was expected as the doctor explained. On the third day I removed the bandage and almost fainted at the sight of my penis. Ignoring all the days and nights went by before u knew it I was back to the doctors office for my check up.
I was well received by the receptionist and the other staff members and a I was escorted to the room to where I was going to be examined. The doctor came in asked me a few questions and told me that I was healing good and that I had no infections. He gave me the green light to resume having my cocktails and going to the gym n all that good stuff. Again I was impressed with the doctors patience n good energy.
I left his office that day and went home to continue heal. A month later and my sutures came out on their own n the healing continues. It will actually take me 8 weeks to heal fully. Patience and perseverance is the name of the game as it is uncomfortable and really requires time to heal.
Overall I must say that I am very pleased with the outcome of my procedure. I must say THANK YOU! to the staff of Gentle Circumcision. Continue doing the great job you are doing! For the price I paid I am 100% satisfied. I must also say that I was very happy that they worked around my schedule to make my appointments possible.
I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wishes to get this procedure done.

First time going here, friendly staff, they were very specific in there after home care instructions. I found this place by searching online, no one recommended me! My son was crying of course but they did everything to calm him down and the result are great no problem here! The price was affordable ! I give this place a two thumbs up!

Mommies have no fear this is the best and safest place to bring your baby to be circumsised. I brought my 2 week old son and the staff is so nurturing and the doctor is a professional at the procedure. I also brought in my 1 month old nephew and both look and did amazing. Cindy and staff make you feel comfortable welcome and clearly walk you through the entire process from start to end to following up with you and your baby. I really enjoy the doctor physically showing the steps of the procedure before it’s done. Mommy don’t be afraid this is the best place and procedure you can do for your baby.

This is one of the worse places to take your baby. Of course babies will cry, but there are many other ways to make a baby comfortable during this proceedure especilly if your baby is older than 1 month old. When u call to inquire they dont tell you your deposite is non-​refundable til after you pay it. You as a parent arent able to see how they are handling your child during this proceedure, and the nurses dont know how to soothe every child, that is why 1 parent should be able to be present during the proceedure.
I would not recommend bring your child here if he isnt a newborn. I see newborns here and they are going like clockwork.
Im writing this review as I sit in a back waiting room and I hear my child screaming at te top of his lungs and I hear no soothing.
Let this place be a last resort.

So to be very very honest, I was quite skeptical on coming to this place after have had read the all the reviews. And what I really noticed was, everyone’s complaining about their attitudes and not necessarily the service. So I decided to take my $ 1500 and go out on a limb and get it done because I wanted it.
With the receptionist:
The first of all the receptionist cute little Miss Cindy, is such a sweetheart and she also make sure that you understand exactly how the process works. She didn’t seem very nasty nor rude. As a matter of fact I called 2 weeks in advance to schedule my appointment inbetween then and Now (I got the procedure done earlier today 12/​19/​2014). I had called about twice for information and to my surprise my call was always connected each and every time. She answered every questions with the highest form of professionalism.
With the surgeon and the nurse:
Oh hell this is where things get really intense, so you can just imagine I’m a 22 year old man about to get my penis cut on, so you can only imagine how nervous I am. So I met the nurse first, I forgot her name but she was really sweet and inviting. Now i typically I don’t do well with women solely because I’m gay, however she made me very very comfortable. She went step by step while she prep me. And told me exactly how the procedure worked. And she shortly left the room and brought back in surgeon.
Meeting the surgeon:
So he comes in with the friendliest smiles, greeted me by my last name, and shock my hand. He started off by asking me what bought me to get the procedure done. I gave my answer and and again with a very warm smile he laughed and said alright man cool. He breaks off and explaining what we’re going to do piece by piece he told me exactly how he was going to take off and what look we’re going for. So I begin to become frantic because now it’s time for me to lay back and take the injections. Now ladies and gentlemen I kid you not this is the only part of the procedure that hurts, if I had to measure the pain level on a scale of 1 to 10 it’s about a 6. Lord have mercy to the lidocaine that they use, because I couldn’t feel s***. It was so painless he started cutting on me before I realized what he was
he chopped and hacked at my manhood, we had a long conversation about a lot of s*** & shared quite a few good laughs. I didn’t really pay attention to the time, but I have to be laying on that table no more than 45 minutes… So after he revoked my turtleneck sweater badge, he begin to explain to me the aftercare and the meds that he was going to prescribe me. Again delivered the information with the highest form of professionalism…
I guess I can say my overall experience is this place is great.
Only thing in bad is when that good olé lidocaine wear off you can feel it… after Ive completely heal I’ll write another review again and tell you guys about the results and what it looks like.

I’m not even sure are they working at all. Tried to call them 2days longs was on automated voice message, no answer, etc.
One lady picked up phone and put me on hold another 15mins, and hanged up without any answer or result.
Sent message via their web sited no response at all.
Dont waist ur time waiting any response from them, find another place.
If they are unprofessional through their customer service dont think they are able to do good job at all!

A reasonable price for circumcision but very rude with attitude on their front office workers. It is a painless procedure but heartless staffs that you wish you went somewhere instead. If you have more than $ 1500 to spend for your circumcision or more I would check out other clinic. If you can not afford to go to other place, do not expect a very pleasant atmosphere in this office. They lack compassionate and very sub par customers services. This office gets 4 star for price and owes me 5 star for experience. Yup, very negative people there!!! You do pay for what you get…
