Well, I haven’t been on Unilocal for two years but was looking up a business and saw I had two messages. I was surprised by the response of these folks, I didn’t even remember who they were! I had called for an estimate, as a customer and was put off by the exorbitant estimate! As I said, I never used them so couldn’t really rate their work. But I can and did rate the feeling they gave me as a POTENTIAL customer. It was my opinion and I believe I am entitled to my opinion. Interesting that they mentioned «professionalism» & my profession when I was calling as a customer! I think my instincts proved right. Great customer-​service is gold, even before a person is a customer! Why they would be so concerned with my opinion I have no idea. Interesting to me that their response was so negative without ever even speaking to me directly, though and DEMANDING (Whaaa?) that I remove my review!!! Decide for yourselves Unilocalers!

My wife and I contacted Earl at Ferrufino Interiors based on several recommendations that we obtained regarding replacing some outdated Sillouette blinds with more contemporary shutters for a guest bedroom. We were pleased with the promptness and professionalism of the company and the new shutters fit perfectly and make a world of difference. Thanks, Earl, to exceeding our expectations for a reasonable price.

I have worked with Ferrufino for many years on both interior and exterior upholstery projects. Each and every time they have done excellent work, from reupholstering vintage furniture to creating custom cushions and bolsters in unusual shapes and sizes. Earl has a natural gift for selecting appealing fabrics and textures, and their selection covers all price ranges and includes both indoor and outdoor fabrics. The last project they did for me was a set of custom cushions for an outdoor adjustable daybed, and it turned out great! Earl took care of everything, from meeting me at my home with a large assortment of swatches through bringing me the finished cushions and making sure they were absolutely perfect. No hesitation in using this company for all my fabric design and upholstery needs!

I worked with Earl in ordering some sunshades for my Mid-​Century Modern Home. The final look and purpose for the shades were met completely right. However, there was a hiccup… and Earl stepped in to see it through and correct it completely. Overall I give him and the firm top stars, since it is that kind of integrity and follow through that people seek out when looking for a company just right to work with. I highly recommend this company; great customer service!

Ferrufino, through their Budget Blinds section, really came through to help me out in replacing an installation that had been botched by the original contractor. Their installer provided me with much better quality tracks than the original, and worked with great care and respect. They worked with my schedule and frankly bent over backwards to do the job to my demands. It’s the type of service that is getting so rare these days. Thank you.

This response to my review is hilarious bordering on crazy. You state that it is «impossible» to keep the grain straight on upholstery fabric — I am sure if this were true it would it would not be manufactured this way because no one would use it!!! 30 years of experience — well just because someone has been doing something for 30 years, does not qualify them as an «expert», point proven by the work your «expert» did on my chair.
Most pathetic of all — you try to paint me as a dangerous parent to deflect attention from your poor ability to do high end upholstery work. Which just highlights that you are not capable of it and need to blame the customer when you don’t have the skill level required to do the promised work. As I said previously — this shop is good for simple, very simple projects. If you need high quality and master level craftsmanship please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
Additionally — You did not ask for, nor did I give you permission to use my chair or my name as an example in your photos. Please remove it. FYI — I did look at the pictures — lololol! the picture of the back of the chair, did you not notice the obvious silver bolt showing RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE??? …and the «swooping» effect in the close up of the fabric grain… a clean example of poorly pulled fabric. This is what you choose as an example of your showcase work, exposed bolts? Wow.
And again you post the link to pictures of my chair and use my name after I expressly told you you do not have my permission? You just can’t stop embarrassing yourself, can you? I expressly forbade to use pictures of my chair and my name yet you persist. Well if anyone uses you for high end uphoulsrty after reading this — lol well at least they will know what to expect. Interesting how you took out the pictures of the obviously poorly pulled fabric that I mentioned — at least show the whole story, but if you are not going to show the whole truth why would you not at least photo shop out the exposed bolt?! Just accept that your work was not done at the required skill level and move on graciously.

I have used Ferrufino Interiors on several occasions, since I am a designer myself, I buy from them a lot and refer them to many of my clients and coworkers. They are excellent in their field and they always help you to make the best selection for your budget.

Earl and his wife are amazing i have referred a few friends and family to them and they never have disappointed, all my friends have been happy they upholstered a few vintage furniture for them and even filled the cushions and it looks amazing and comfy

We had water and smoke damage on all our living room upholstered furniture from a fire in our living room last October. Earl was wonderfully helpful and patient as we went through the process of finding new fabric to re-​upholster the furniture. I just went to the store to do a «cushion test» today and expect all the furniture to be finished and delivered within the next few days. Because of the smoke smell, every piece had to be taken to bits and redone. It all looks like new — he and his team did a beautiful job both in terms of appearance and comfort. He also completely redid an old chair from the 1930’s which was in quite sad shape and restored it to its former beauty. I highly recommend Ferrufino Interiors for any and all upholstering needs!

They were fantastic. Very professional even the delivery guys were so nice. I was very impressed with there knowledge and skills. They did a beautiful job on my sectional and two French chairs. After waiting almost 2 months for another company to reconfigure a new, very nice coverlet, I contacted Earl. I picked it up (from the other sign company) and took it to him and within 4 days it was finished beautifully!

I had my sofa and loveseat reupholstered at Ferrufino through a recommendation from back east. They did a fantastic job and recently had my dining room chairs reupholstered. I am so pleased with the work they did — they look gorgeous! (I uploaded a photo on the site). My mother is an interior designer and wishes they were based in Florida so she could work with them!

This is the second time I work closely with Earl for interior work. He helped upholster furniture pieces in my new place. I have some great vintage loveseats and chairs that needed to be upholstered. Earl helped me choose a fabric that compliments the design and brings a modern touch to the room. It’s not easy finding custom work with good craftsmanship and quality fabric, that’s why they are my go to for interiors!

The seat cushions on my two couches were beginning to sag so took them to Ferrufino Interiors to be refilled. The owner Earl, who was very friendly and personable, provided me with excellent service and had my cushions ready for pick up the very next day (3 days earlier than promised). I am very happy with Ferrufino and best of all my couches feel like new again! Highly recommend Earl and his company.
