Ellise had traveled to the United State from Vietnam to participate in a graduate MBA program for education, but in early 2013, she decided to pursue a different path. She began to take courses at the New School of Cooking, where she nurtured a new love and passion and began to believe in the possibility of success using her cooking skills. Soon afterwards, Ellise went back to Vietnam to conduct an extensive study to hone her skills and traveled through many regions to work with various Banh Mi street carts to master her recipes!
