This was the best dealership to have your Volvo serviced at! While living in Marina Del Rey I was a frequent customer here. They never hassled and no bs. Great service, fast repairs and convenient location.

Car trouble is just the worst, thankfully, I took my car here. I pulled into the service department and was almost in tears. Every single person I delt with at the dealership was kind, understanding and helpful. They handled all the paperwork with my warranty and explained everything they did on my car. Everything about my experience here was great.

Michael is the best salesperson at Volvo. If you want the best service just ask for him. He has a lot of knowledge about cars and will go out of his way to give you the best price and service. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

This is my second Volvo that i leased from Michael. He made it nice and easy again just like the first time. The staff are friendly here and they make you feel comfortable. Michael had my car and the papers ready when we got there and we drove our Volvo off the lot about an hour later.
If you are planing to purchase a Volvo, i will recommend Michael.

Just bought an XC90 from these guys. Honestly the best experience I have ever had buying a car. I worked with Roman who was incredibly diligent, helpful and honest throughout the process. Benny helped make the deal work for me and Ram the GM also helped me with specific tire and rim requests I needed. I would not hesitate to send anyone to this dealership — they have been nothing but exceptional.

They had a vehicle listed online on their website & on the AAA website. I contacted them about it and they offered to set up an appointment for me to test drive it. I got all kinds of ambiguous e-​mails etc. showing this car and other. They called me and said they would check that they still have it. But, I never got a call back. I am glad I did not waste my time going there because when I called them again and, it turned out, they do not have the car. I was told, that it was in bad shape, so they sent it to auction. So why was it listed online in the first place? Seems like a typical shady car dealer bait and switch.

CC Volvo has been my service shop for many years with my current and previous Volvo. CAVEAT: I should have stopped going there years ago, but I am so slammed with my work, I just overlooked the issues and returned out of convenience/​lack of time to find another dealership service, since my car was still under warranty. Unfortunately, their service quality has severely declined over the years, while prices have climbed– they are sloppy and neglect small tasks that make a difference in your driving experience, things that are INCLUDED in the milestone services, per the Volvo Manual Recommendations, i.e., things YOU PAY FOR. You have to check everything they do and review your bill, or they will miss it/​blow it off and overcharge you. And there are problems with big things, too. They repaired my A/​C system 3 times in less than 2 years, and each subsequent time, I asked them why I was having the same problem. They never gave me an intelligent answer but only some bull delivered with an impatient, often rude tone. Then the entire system suddenly had to be replaced, which seemed suspicious. Luckily, it was under warranty and I paid nothing. But only a year after the total A/​C system replacement, it again did not work properly (It never gets cold enough).
Also, they are sexist, and treat women like they know nothing about cars, which is insulting and, NEWSFLASH, CC VOLVO SERVICE STAFF, really old school! If you ask questions, as any smart consumer should do, they treat you like an annoyance.
I did eventually complain to the service manager, Flo, citing very specific items, but that was a waste of time, too. Seems like Flo spends more time rebutting the negative reviews on here than actually correcting the problems at CC Volvo!
The last time they serviced my car was a few months ago and even now I am discovering items they screwed up– like, when I went to refill my windshield washer fluid the other day, it poured right through the engine compartment into the street because they did not bother to reconnect the filler tube to the reservoir when they last serviced my car. Checking/​refilling fluids is part of any milestone service, and their service ppl should have noticed that!
My car is out of warranty now, so am not going back to them for service. Additionally, I am in the market for another Volvo and would have given them my business, but feel they are dishonest and gouge their customers, so will avoid CC Volvo.
If anyone would like a list of problems I encountered with CC Volvo, please do not hesitate to message me. I have a long list I can share.

I have been going to Culver City Volvo for the last 5 years for my maintance of my XC70. All of the support staff have been outstanding. Martin has been very helpful in throughly checking everything and explaining all that I had concerns about.
The only glitch in the service is Hertz car rental that is on site where I rented a car. Hertz staff, Henry and Willie had difficulty communicating and organizing customers when there were 4 of us waiting. The people waiting felt there was no order of service causing customer to complain. They seemed nice but did not have the awareness or a system of communicating to customers waiting causing people to get help out of order.

I gravitated for so long into leasing a car. I finally made up my mind and went to Volvo Culver CIty. Mike, the salesman, proved to be so great. Not pushy at all. He carefully listened to what I wanted and what my needs were instead of pushing for the most expensive Volvo XC90. The xc60 was the perfect fit for me. The testing, leasing and transaction was so smooth that we left with a big smile. Donna, the financial manager was great as well.
Friendly, relaxed atmosphere while you wait for you paperwork to be finalized.
I know where to go from now on for my next car. Personalized service. They really want you to leave the dealer as a happy buyer. What else can you ask for?

He was very knowledgable and didn’t try to push me into a car I didn’t want. He also hooked up a great deal!

We discovered Culver City Volvo when searching for a used car on
. They had the Volvo C70 my wife was interested in so we headed up there (from San Diego county). Richard really worked with us and made the car buying process easy. He was very helpful and professional. He stood out from other salesmen at some of the other dealerships we stopped by before making our way to Culver City Volvo. Richard also arranged to have the car delivered to us the next day, which saved a lot of driving. He’s a good guy, I recommend talking with him if you go to the dealership.

If I could zero stars would be given. A year and a half ago I bought a vehicle from this place only to find that the car was in some type of accident but it was never reported. Both buyers informed me that the car had major repair damage and that any dealership that appraises cars would have been able to recognize it.
I feel stupid for being caught up in their sham and if I could press charges I would. This dealership is just like any other dealership. They are only concerned with the sale. You’ve been forewarned. This enraged me to the point that I will never buy a car from any dealership ever again. At least not for used vehicles. Still reeling but life goes on. Hopefully sales won’t go on for this place. Deplorable.

September 26, 2015. Waiting for deposit refund to clear through Visa since Labor Day weekend, per Benny, service manager. This is a second example of their slow customer response time.

I’ve had my Volvo s40 serviced by Culver City Volvo since new, there technicians are top notch, always completed correctly the 1^st time, Augie is always there if you need him, Martin my service Advisor always keep me updated when my vehicle is in for service, my car has over 100, 000 and runs like new, I highly recommend this dealer for servicing needs.

I just leased a new Volvo S60 T6 AWD R Line from Roman, and he was great. It was a quick and easy deal, I knew what I wanted and what a fair price was. I drove the car and the next day went in to sign the papers and pick it up. Roman made it his job to ensure this was the easiest and least stressful situation it could have possibly been. It is very stressful to buy a new car and he really made me leave feeling like I got a fair deal and have no negativity towards the transaction at all.
Roman also was kind enough to recommend his friend as a State Farm agent, who was extremely helpful and got me competitive rates within a matter of minutes. I got 15 quotes from different places before speaking to him, and within 5 minutes had a better price and ended up getting the insurance from his friend Tyler.
Roman even offered to return my rental car for me the next day because enterprise was closed. I would recommend him as a sales person to anyone.

I was looking into a xc90. Called this dealership and they said they have what I’m looking for. Drove down there and meet the salesman named Eric. This guy is a joke. This guy is very unprofessional. As soon as we arrived he came up to us and said the car we asked for sold yesterday but he has some other cars he would like to show me that might get my interest.
If I talked to you about a certain car. I want to get that car, not a different color and not a different package. Don’t waste your time coming here because you will not like the outcome.
There is no reason for me to come to this location anymore. I found the car I was looking for without getting lied too.

My husband and I came in 4months ago to have some questions answered as we were thinking of getting a Volvo. We drove to Culver City Volvo and were greeted by Max!
Max was very helpful and answered all our questions. We test drove an XC90 and went home to mull it over.
Fast forward to last weekend when we decide to take the plunge and go back to Max of coarse!
Without fail he was helpful, pleasant and answered all our questions and concerns. We went with the XC60!
We soon met Lee who was able to work with our budget and finally the lovely Donna for final paperwork.
It was overall a great experience and we look forward to continuing our life as loyal Volvo drivers.

Never again! While we enjoyed the initial interaction with our salesperson at Culver city Volvo, and the test drive in the new 2015.5 Volvo Cross Country, things went downhill quickly once we got back to the dealership from the test drive.
Once we sat down at the sales desk, and asked for some ballpark numbers (our current lease isn’t quite over), the salesperson asked «what do we want our payment to be at?» — a completely unsavory sales tactic for those not in the know. When we demured, and said we didn’t appreciate that, and just to give us some working numbers, the salesperson came back with a lease payment of TWICE the nationally advertised «deal» (i.e., if Volvo is advertising it nationally, you likely can do better). 3000 down and 795/month…when the national deal is 3000 down and 379/​month. For the price quoted, we knew we could get a much nicer car from another manufacturer. Still, she persisted with the fantasy, and reduced the downpayment and increased the monthly. In the day of the internet, and so much knowledge being available, why do this to the customer? Its a huge turnoff.
Salesperson than brought her manager to help «close» the deal, even though we told her we didn’t want to do anything today. To be honest we were turned off by the insulting lease numbers. He then tried every sales tactic on us including telling us that other offers we have seen advertised were «lies» and that we likely had a lot of equity… in our lease, and we should trade in immediately. My god, if what he said was true, our car is sending us a check each month, and the check has been lost in the mail.
Long story short, do your homework before you go to this place… if you have to.

I bought a used MR2-​S here off the internet from Tony in 2010. Tony was amazing. I was in the process of cleaning up my credit (student loans damn you!!!) and Tony was able to secure me great credit through Westlake Financial and more importantly helped me get this great low mileage car. The car was as advertised. The top was in great shape, the engine was clean, and more importantly it ran like it was brand new. The guys at Volvo cleaned and detailed the car for me and Tony made the process as smooth as silk. Thank you not only for helping me get an amazing car but I was able to pay my car off in 9 months and kick start my credit into the 700’s. Thanks again guys you’re awesome.
