This League has been around for ages. Back in the days we knew it as «Babe Ruth.» My edest brother played there and then my son began. He’s been playing for CCLL for almost 8 – 9 years and now that he’s a teen… I can’t wait till the season is over. First off, politics have taken over, kids are picked, chosen and appointed to teams according to their skills. So, this is where it begins. My son was chosen and picked to be on the team which consisted of newbies and also those who were younger or had minimal skill set. We payed about 175 online, and were asked by the coach to pay 15 extra for uniforms, which never came, up until their 8th game or so. The reason the extra 15 were requested according to coach, would be to spruce up the uniform. not true. The uniform was cheap material and just plain and simple. All hats did not arrive, so kids had to wear different hats. Fields were not maintained and practices and games were constantly switched up on us, last minute changes or cancelled upon arrival. Snack bar down below never opened so our kids nor parents had to go up to the fields on top to buy food, then come all the way back down to watch our kids. Restrooms were not always opened, but finally did. Not the cleanest. and the Score Board broken, so minus that and announcements. Kids missed their picture day and it was constantly rescheduled over and over again, then they decided to just take a group picture during the celebration. Practices focused on conditioning and not really on the skills which were necessary. Parents called and complained, wrote and complained. What happened Culver City. you really went downhill? I feel that the parents should have been reimbursed. My son hasn’t been too content about playing this season, along with many of the other boys, according to their parents. Look around parents, if things do not change, make a change or find another league for your kids once they begin playing for the Juniors…

This is a top notch league. Great fields and snack bar. The coaches and families really work together to make this a great experience for the kids. My son loved his team. He can’t wiat to play again next spring.
