History

Established in 1995.

We started in 1995 with the idea of creating a floor covering store where you could buy all types of flooring and have it expertly installed. Originally we did all types of carpet, vinyl, wood floors, and ceramic tiles. We grew to include area rugs, window coverings, and floor refinishing. We also now have cork and real linoleum. At all times we have stayed at the cutting edge of what’s available and can offer our customers expert advice in meeting their needs and keeping within their budget.

Michele was great to work with and I cant say enough. At first my idea turned out to be a more expensive job when i got a quote. The materials I’d chosen were beyond my budget. She helped me find a more cost effective option that worked for me, without any pressure for the higher priced job. She came out and saw the space and we decided on a plan. The install was excellent. The details around rough areas was so intricate, a friend asked if the flooring was the steel rods were added (it was’t). Then I was looking for a smaller piece of thick rubber for my weights. Michele found a relatively inexpensive option for me. Highly recommend Carpet Plus.

Don’t let the simplicity of the name fool you ­- the emphasis at Carpet Plus is definitely on the «Plus». We were looking to replace laminate floors in our newly purchased townhouse with hardwood, and found ourselves at Carpet Plus based on our realtor’s reference.
Admittedly we knew next to nothing when we entered the store for the first time, but Roy A. was a true professional, not to mention a friendly & likeable guy. As first-​time home owners (and floor replacers) he answered every single one of our questions — and we had plenty — with patience and total competence. His expertise was on full display as he explained to us the ins and outs of flooring and what we needed to know to make an informed decision. He compared many possibilities (wood type, manufacturer etc) to get us the best value. And though it may have seemed at times like we’d never make a decision, Roy never lost patience and answered each & every question with good humor. We even spent several days at a time with his floor samples sitting on the floor of our old home, as we tried to decide — well, how to decide.
Once we did finally reach a decision and the time came to install our new floors, the job was in great hands with Anthony and his crew, who did a fantastic job of installing red oak hardwood floors that are beautiful to behold and which we look forward to enjoying for a long time. But MAN is hardwood floor installation a noisy job…
BOTTOM LINE: if you’re looking for hardwood flooring that’s a solid value, sold by nice people who are focused on getting you exactly what you want, then we can’t recommend Roy, Anthony & the folks at Carpet Plus highly enough. Thanks, guys!

Yes, they were great at selling the vinyl flooring. Not quite 5 years ago we paid $ 1,475 for our kitchen floor. It is guaranteed for 25 years. Now it has cracks. I was asked to provide a copy of the warranty on their product! Promises of returning my calls are not happening. My emails are not acknowledged. I’ve been waiting 10 days for a call back. We’ve called the manufacturer and hope to get some resolution.

This place is great!
After signing for a next day installation from Empire, only to have them show up with not enough carpet, I decided to try someone else. I found Carpet Plus by driving by, and so glad I did. They had the carpet that I wanted and the price was $ 500 less than Empire. Otillo showed me the padding and how it felt under the carpeting and even gave me a sample book to take home. He then came by after work to measure and retrieve the book; promising an installation immediately after confirming that the carpet was available. It was, and the workers arrived on time, were polite and got right to work. They kept the house clean and none had body odor as the Empire guy did. They finished ahead of schedule and did not leave a mess for me to clean up. I would recommend them to anyone! Great products and customer service!

Otillio came to the rescue — to repair the kitchen floor, we needed more of the Mohawk flooring that Carpet Plus installed a few years ago. He made a number of phone calls and we got the material the next day!

I remodeled my condo over the summer and went here to get a quote for new carpeting. I had gone to Home Depot and Lowe’s, but didn’t find their prices all that competitive, especially since I was looking to also get it installed by the store. Otilio was extremely helpful — I described to him the kind of carpeting I was looking for and he pulled a sample that was exactly what I was looking for. They beat the prices of the big box retailers. I also had them install my wood flooring that I had already purchased elsewhere — they did an amazing job on both!

Otillio is awesome!
I manage property on the Westside and have used Otilio on multiple occassions to redo flooring in bedrooms, kitchens and soon-​to-​be bathrooms.
His work is meticulous and never leaves a doubt in my head that I made a bad decision.
He is honest with his assessment of the flooring; which will last longest and look the best given the color of walls, lighting and usage.
He and his team at Carpet Plus work diligently to get the work done and will work around your schedule.

Needed to pull out carpeting, wanted cork and they had the very best selection of cork where HomeDepot had 2 really ugly ones (and wait 3 weeks for an appointment to measure my floor) and Loews had 1(pay for an estimate applied to the sale, if made). Carpet Plus had about 8? With a much better esthetic.
When Otilio came to my place the next day and saw that the flooring was going to be in an area with a lot of food and water he suggested I reconsider my decision.
He swayed me in the right direction. I returned several times and never felt pressured, he was patient and the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful as well.
They delivered and installed everything precisely on time, removed all debris, and left me one very happy customer.
Personal service cannot be replaced by a big box store, I highly recommend giving them your business.
