Busters Baskets & Flowers

I can’t get enough of Busters. This is one of the few small businesses left in Los Angeles to shop at, that offers unique and wonderful gift items. The funny thing is that I never buy gifts, I always shop for myself or my home. There are beautiful pieces of vintage clothing, hats, shoes, to unique garden items. I never leave empty handed. Never. Take your time to look at everything. The shop is small, but chocked full of amazing and wonderful items.
Tina is amazing. She remembers her customers likes and wants. It’s her personal style and the amazing items that she carries that has kept me shopping at her store for years !! She is also a florist. I’ve seen many of her beautiful floral pieces. They are stunning.
The shop is closed on Mondays, and parking is very limited. It’s worth the energy to find the parking place and shop until your hearts content. There’s a small café next door, should your shopping leave you hungry.

Tina is AMAZING! She was so kind and hospitable. Walking into this shop alone is an experience. It’s like discovering a mystical world of treasures and treats. The shop is filled with gorgeous knick-​knacks, unique gifts, and flawless vintage gems. The store front greets you with a beautiful flower cart before you ring a rustic bell to call Tina, the shop owner, to the door. It has an exclusive and definite mystical feel to it. She gave us an enchanting shop tour. The place is so much bigger on the inside. Their selection of chocolates, cards, clothes, and gifts are unparalleled. There were no flowers in the shop today, all the more reason to come back again. I cannot wait to return here and explore this wonderland even more!

A local treasure not to be missed. I find something for everyone and always a little something for me. If Tina isn’t there, it’s because she is going above and beyond, delivering flowers, mirrors, large gift bags, something that is extra special. I know because she did this for me when I moved into the neighborhood. Tina will make you feel at home, and you may never want to leave!

I just love this place. It’s like walking in to a fairytale. Tons of really cute gifts and curios including amazing antique clothing and shoes. It’s a really great place to find a birthday or seasonal gift for someone. Lots of really unusual things to choose from. The owner is super nice and the place has a lovely energy. One of LA’s great hidden gems.

Wow I’m standing here ringing a Goddamn cowbell like an idiot since according to the sign they can’t hear the door with the air conditioning is on. Needless to say NO ONE EVER ANSWERED THE DOOR. What a huge inconvenience. Total BS!

A surprising find in downtown Culver City. The store is deeper than first appears. Full of great gift items from jewelry, cosmetics, snacks, wall hangings, candles, soaps, cards and books to vintage clothing including hats, bags, belts and lingerie. Tina, the very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful owner is delight to talk with and will assist you with gift ideas. She also creates remarkable floral arraignments. I found a perfect frame for my sister’s birthday. This is the place to buy that unusual gift for friends and family who already have the mall bought gifts. I couldn’t wait to recommend Buster’s Baskets & Flowers to all my friends. And they were grateful that I did. There’s something for everyone at Tina’s store. A great shop to discover!

Gorgeous! Gorgeous! Gorgeous! Thanks to you fellow Unilocalers that helped me select Busters based on your reviews. Came here last minute for a friend’s bday bouquet. The owner put hydrangeas, roses and other florals (don’t know the name) in a tall vase. My friend was in awe when I gave them to her.
There is also a small retail area with some pretty cool vintage clothing and accessories. I will have to keep this place in mind if I’m ever in need of these items. I will be back for florals next time I’m in need.

I order 43 red roses last minute as a gift for my mother. I was a bit worried about ordering the roses last min, plus I’ve never shop at this particular flower shop, so I was hesitant. BUT the roses were beautiful my whole family loved the decorative vase and the beautiful arrangement… The owner is extremely nice and humble, even thou she was in a rush she was extremely patient to help me… I will most definitely buy more arrangement from this flower shop

This will probably say more than anything I can write but I made an account just to rave about Busters Baskets. I found this place on Unilocal and decided to pick up my girlfriend some flowers. Not only is this a neat shop, the owner very friendly, but the flowers had to be the most beautiful and reasonable priced I have ever received. I would highly recommend it.

Tina is absolutely amazing! I called early on a Saturday morning (I’m not sure that she is even open that day) looking to get a bouquet for a co-​worker. She was able to meet with me and put together the most beautiful bouquet in about 15 min. I was very impressed. Thank you Tina

I’ve been to Busters several times and this review is long overdue. Especially, since I don’t live in LA anymore. About a year ago, I bought a vintage slip and dress. Two months later, I bought shoes. I never wore these items until yesterday. I had no idea I was collecting for my wedding day!
Busters is the best store for special items and gifts. Every visit, I’ve had the pleasure of chatting with Tina. She is super helpful and friendly.

Never really been in a flower shop but it was a breeze especially with the help from Tina. I walked in with the thought of walking out with just a couple of flowers but instead walked out with an awesome bouquet. Tina even gave me some history on bouquets while I waited and answered all my questions about flowers (I really don’t know too much). The price was great considering the awesome bouquet I got. Thanks again Tina!

I wanted to send a gift basket to our doula as a thank you for helping us bring our baby boy into the world. After looking around on Unilocal,I called Busters and spoke with a women about what I was looking for. The owner called me back the next day with excellent ideas and suggestions for what to put into the basket. After the basket was delivered, our doula texted to say how beautiful the basket was and how much she enjoyed all of the thoughtful gifts. I would most definitely suggest using Busters if you’re looking for something special and unique.

Very very very helpful– called today as they opened the owner was very patient with my bad cell signal. I had a very last minute order and she went above and beyond to try to make what I wanted happened. When she did not have my request on stock she even gave alternate recommendations for other shops near by. Will definitely use this again.

Tina and Katherine were great!!! Their customer service was one in a million. Just happened to stop by since I workout across the street. Great little shop with lots of wonderful gifts for your friends or loved ones!

It’s says it is open but door is closed

I called in and Spoke to Tina, and placed an order for flowers to be delivered to my wife on her birthday. I’ve never been to the shop, and was just going off Unilocal reviews, so didn’t know what to expect. And on top of that, I’m a guy, so I know little to nothing about flowers. Tina started naming a bunch of flowers that she could put in a bouquet, and I said «yes, please», and she made this awesome arrangement that was the envy of all my wife’s coworkers. The transaction was easy, and Tina delivered the flowers herself the very next morning after I placed the order.
It’s not the cheapest flowers you’ll find, but for what I paid I absolutely feel that I got great value. My wife and a couple of her friends speculated on how much I paid for it, and they were well over… which is a far greater testament to the quality of the flowers than my ignorant opinion. And I’m very happy to be giving my business to a locally-​run business instead of one of those horrible 1−800-flowers-type places, which I’ve heard some truly horrible stories about. I couldn’t be happier with Busters.

I called this place for a post Valentine’s Day occasion on a Sunday, but unfortunately, the place was closed. Sent an online inquiry, and response was properly made a couple of hours later despite the uneventful unavailable news. Nonetheless, I got a good vibe and decided to give this place another chance.
This time, I called 3 days ahead (Tina, the owner said it’s best to call at least one day ahead), and was greeted warmly. She asked how I found her shop, and I said «via Unilocal,but I tried once before during V day,» and she remembered me!
Tina was also very helpful in trying to provide the best value possible! She gave me extra $ 15 dollars in value to compensate for V Day incident (even though they were simply off on their usual Sunday and had absolutely no fault whatsoever).
When I got to the store, I was a little surprised. It’s definitely not your typical florist shop. Some people may be turned off, but I actually like the look and feel because it’s more of a boutique flower shop than your local florist place. When I got there, she brought me to the back yard where the flowers are, and then patiently ask for my gf’s taste and preferences. (For people who are oblivious to flowers, just be like me and tell Tina to leave it up to her”.)
The flowers came out beautiful. First thing I want to comment is the sweet fragrance and freshness. I bought flowers from multiple places before and this was one of the best. The price was also very reasonable! Finally, even though I never mentioned gf did not like Lilies, and lilies were included, gf did not mind at all and still loved it.
Overall, very reasonably priced, excellent quality and customer service! Could not be happier.
