I had such a wonderful experience here. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with kindness. I believe I interacted with the owner and what a great individual to come in contact with. The salon is incredibly clean, with the most advanced beds I’ve ever seen. He walked me through my options with patience, and after I purchased my package, he showed me exactly how to use the bed. I would, without hesitation, recommend this tanning salon.

Great tanning place! I haven’t been tanning in a while and I was rusty on knowing about every bed. The owner was very nice and walked me through everything to explain the best option for me. I will definitely be back to get unlimited sessions monthly.

switched, after 10 years, from my old tanning salon which closed and sold their accounts to a new salon group with locations across town from my home, making it inconvenient for me to schedule sessions. this intimate small salon is five minutes from my house and is well worth it. John is very sweet and accommodating, the rooms are immaculate and the beds are state-​of-​the art. what I also like is that it is «pay as you go» month-​to-​month with no contract. pricing is in line with other salons given the state-​of-​the art beds, the only downfall is that parking could be challenging if you arrive at a high traffic time of the day, but side street parking is available.

John was a wealth of information. He made me feel comfortable and put a smile on my face with all the details he knew about his amazing new beds!!!
This place will beat any price in LA. John the owner will do anything to earn your business and I highly recommend you come and join. He gave me an excellent month price for unlimited use!

Stumbled across this gem on Unilocal and I’m so happy I decided to check it out! John, the owner was extremely helpful and knowledgable… not to mention, incredibly sweet and welcoming! He showed he truly cared that I got the best out of my experience and really catered to my preferences.
The salon is very clean, and with all the amenities you could think of. John thought of it all!
I purchased 1 month of unlimited sessions, and will be back very often! Very happy with this find :)

This was the first tanning salon I went to and I’m super impressed by the awesome customer service and cleanliness of the place. The rooms are complete with baby wipes and deodorant sprays, and have a wide variety of tanning lotions. I love coming here and will continue to purchase their packages!

I was visiting LA for a week and wanted to maintain my tan so I came to Bronze Buns. It was close to where I was staying and also had great reviews. John took the time to explain in detail the various offerings they had and made sure we were properly educated to choose the right bed. John was patient and very knowledgeable. He even upgraded me to a level four bed for my first tan. The facility is clean and the prices are great.

I purchased 3 sessions of the Versa Pro. I don’t burn easily so I did 7 mins my first session and 10mins my second session the following week. I still have to get my third and since some time has passed I will probably do 8 mins. I tend to bronze somewhat easy, so after my first session I’d looked as if I had been to the beach for an hour or so. Second session the results were exponential. I looked close to what I would look like at the end of summer. I purchased the tanning lotion that doesn’t have bronzer on it, mainly because I liked the smell better.
Overall the service was good, the place is clean and private. I just wished I had gotten a little bit more of an explanation as to how the lotion works and steps on how to max. your tan post tanning. Because I whipped my face right after the session and I guess you are supposed to let the lotion work for at least 4 hours after you tan without showering… which I later read on the bottle or the pamphlet.
They have wet wipes and spray deodorant you can use.

I found this salon through LivingSocial (check out their amazing deals). I went today and had the best tanning salon experience I’ve ever had. Dan, the owner, was extremely friendly and informative! He spent time reviewing each tanning bed with me and their purposes/​functions! This place has the best equipment! I was super impressed with the Versa Spa pro & the various upgrade options! You need to check it out! The best part about this salon… it’s affordable. Dan clearly cares about his customers and he is the only tanning salon owner I’ve met that is loyal and honest and makes sure that he only has the best equipment at the BEST prices you’ll find! So happy I found Bronze Buns and a Versa Pro — it will definitely be worth the 35 min drive from Hermosa Beach to go tanning :)

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM JOHN, THE OWNER!
I purchased a Groupon that was good for one month of unlimited tanning in level 1 – 5 beds. The first day that I tanned, John, the owner, put me in a level 3 bed without even asking me which bed I wanted to use. The next day, he tried to put me in the same bed, but I told him that I wanted to tan in the level 5 bed. He seemed a little hesitant, but let me tan in the level 5. I used the level 5 bed everyday for a week without issue.
HOWEVER, I went in last night and John sneakily booked me into a level 3 bed. When I recognized the level 3, I walked back up to the front and told him that I wanted to tan in a level 5 bed. He told me that they were not available. When I pointed to a level 5 bed that was open, he told me that it was reserved for «regular» customers, not Groupon customers. I told him that he had let me tan in that bed a few days prior without issue, and he simply replied that it needed to be kept available for non-​Groupon customers. I then said that I would use a level 4 bed, and he replied that they were both in use, so I sat down to wait.
After a few moments of waiting, he told me that I could go ahead and use the level 5 bed but that I needed to start using other beds because I had been using the level 5 too much. I replied that the Groupon didn’t say anything about restrictions regarding how many times we could use a particular bed. I tanned in the level 5 bed and reread the Groupon. I was correct. Once I was done tanning, I went back out to show him that the Groupon said UNLIMITED TANNING in levels 1 – 5. He then came up with some story about «unlimited» actually meaning I was allowed to come everyday (which, anyone with half a brain knows that it’s implied when you buy a MONTH package that you can come everyday). He went on to tell me that the whole purpose of the Groupon was for customers to try all of the different beds. I reiterated the use of the word UNLIMITED and said I should be able to tan in the level 5 as many times as I want.
It was at this moment that a fellow customer, who I’m assuming is a regular because he knew John by first name, came to my defense. He agreed that the use of the word «unlimited» meant that I should be able to tan as many times in the level 5 as I wanted, and that if John wanted to place restrictions on the Groupon package, he should have it in writing on the Groupon website. John then asked this customer how HE would feel if he had to wait an hour because the beds were all being used by «groupon people». I had finally had enough of this «second-​class» treatment.
At the end of the ordeal, John said he would let me tan in the level 5 going forward, but that I couldn’t use it every time. The whole situation made me so uncomfortable, I didn’t want to tan there or see John ever again. I called Groupon today, and they refunded my money IN FULL. As someone who has worked in customer service for 10 years, I have NEVER been treated like that. I am SHOCKED that as a small business owner, he would behave in such a way. I would recommend avoiding this place AT ALL COSTS!

I love this salon! Reasonable prices, all the tanning options you need. The sweetest staff EVER in a tanning salon. Its clean, the beds all work great. My skin looks surprisingly great now that I frequent this salon… better results than I could have imagined. Whats in those lights? What more could you ask for!!!
They close at 8 so if you’re a work-​a-​colic, run on over, but this place is worth the run!
Ive never been part of a tanning salon but it looks like Bronze Buns has me hooked!

Needed to switch tanning salons (Excel Tanning .2 miles away from me closed down…) and I’m glad Bronze Buns was the nearest salon to me! The beds are clean and extremely affordable. I’ve previously worked at tanning salons (for years), so I knew John wasn’t trying to up-​sell me, or give me any wrong information. He knew what he was talking about and made it super comfortable to use the bed I wanted! He was the best with helping me get the best bang for my buck, and I appreciate the customer service. Definitely coming back! Oh and FREE PARKING! Yay!

Love it! Was trying so hard to find a clean, comfortable tanning salon with new equipment. Would recommend and bring friends!

Love this salon, went because I saw a deal on Unilocal.Extremely clean and very well run. They have the best beds in the market and will make sure they get you the best price. This place is awesome!

I visited this location because it has awesome reviews on Unilocal.It was my first time getting a tan and wasn’t sure what to expect. John was super helpful and was really patient to explain how tanning works especially cause I was all confused lol. But i really loved the process, super easy and quick. I got the level 2 with the clear, so by the next day my tan was fully in and I loved it. Although John did suggest me to do level 3 which he was correct haha a little darker would of looked nicer but other than that it was awesome. This place is great! Super clean and organized. The staff is super friendly and helpful, so was this young lady that gets the rooms ready I don’t remember her name but she was great too.
This place seems to have lots of customers since when I arrived 6 people walked in right after! Try it out it’s great :)))))

I need a tan Saturday morning and I called several places and either they needed an appointment or no one answered. So I was at Target as my last option to do it myself. But right in time this business called me back (I called when in the morning they were close) saying the were returning my call. That is professional business! They have the automatic spraying machine and didn’t need a appointment so I head out there and did it. It was fast and I loved it! The gentleman who’s name I can’t remember, I believe it’s JOHN, was awesome. It was my 1^st time trying it and he was very helpful n had a lot of information. Definitely will be the place I will go for spray tanning again.

I started my membership, and after about 2 weeks I finally took the plunge and tried out the Ergoline Prestige (level 5). It’s got aromatherapy and Aqua Mist (cooling mist you turn on within the bed). I felt like I had transported to the spa instead of the tanning salon!
All of the beds are brand new, so any package you wind up choosing is going to get you dark, fast. I love tanning, I need my Vitamin D! Bronze Buns recently went through a remodel, which is nice. They’re in this fun happy-​medium place where the prices are still low but the beds are new. I come here from work and it is a great wind-​down at the end of my day. John, the owner, always makes me laugh and is very pleasant to see everyday.
