I use my background as a professional photojournalist and cultural anthropologist to capture to essence of each portrait, wedding, event and scene.

Business Owner

I am a independent professional photographer based in Los Angeles, CA but travel anywhere in search of a new assignment or job. In 2007, I became Chief Photographer of the Santa Monica Daily Press, earning the job due to my hard work, determination, and passion for photojournalism, ethics and the need to capture the decisive moment. Although I still practice visual story telling, I now spend most of my time finding the decisive moment for my clients. If I’m shooting a wedding or taking a portrait, I use my photojournalism skills to tell a story through my photography. Ethics and reliability come before all else.

I received my degree in Cultural/​Physiological Anthropology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2012 after spending most of my 20s working as both a full-​time student and supporting myself through photography.
