Body Mechanxs Adam Townsend

I started training one-​on-​one with Adam 3 years ago. He is incredibly knowledgeable about functional movement and how to build strength without losing mobility. I was able to see results right away with my improved form. He does a great job of concurrently focusing on core strength, flexibility and cardio, and will work with you on designing your own fitness goals. He also does a great job of changing the workout daily to maximize results and my interest.

I have trained with Adam on two different cycles a few years apart. The first time was in 2012 when I was training for my Krav Maga black belt test. I really wanted to make sure my cardio was up to par for this intense 7 hour test! To prepare, we worked together a few days a week, for about 3 months, doing INTENSE circuit type training. Long story short, I aced the test and my cardio was far and away better than anyone else there! The second cycle has been since the beginning of 2016. My goals changed since 2012 and I am now training powerlifting, Olympic lifting, as well as circuit type training. Adam is able to tailor your training specifically to your goals. I have already noticed a change in my fitness and I physically look better also. Coach Adam is very conscious of your health as well as training hard but safe. Whether you are brand new and need to get into shape, young, old, or experienced and just want to mix things up a bit, he has the correct program for you!

I have been training with Adam for just over a year now and I can honestly say that he has absolutely changed my life for the better. Not just in terms of getting into shape, but developing and setting up a long term plan to maintain physical and mental well being for many years to come.
About a year ago I made the decision that I wanted to take my fitness goals to the next level. (I may have made that decision after watching Captain America with my wife one night and making the comment, «Ya know, one day, Im going to have a body like that» and having my wife openly laugh out loud, but that is beside the point.)
Picking up my pride and dusting it off, I decided to make an appointment to meet with Adam the very next week. Looking back now, this was an amazing turning point for me, because this was where I started to look at health and fitness in a whole new light. We discussed my goals of wanting to get stronger and put on some muscle, but we also discussed the importance of training in a way that will allow you to be fit and healthy for years to come. Ultimately, this was more important to me than just hoping to look like Captain America. I have a 1 year old son and I really want to be able to stay in shape and keep up with him as we both get older, as well as teach him the things that Adam has taught me.
Adam is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to overall health and fitness and they strive to provide the absolute best service for his clients. He truly loves what he does and is always available to answer questions and help point you in the right direction. It doesn’t matter if you are big or small, skinny or buff, or if you’ve never worked out a day in your life, he really takes into consideration you as an individual and provides a plan that you feel comfortable with.
