BMP Insurance

I signed up with this company when I first moved to California. During the first meeting they were extremely helpful and got me a great price for insurance for my car and apartment.
When the policy ended, I was unaware (I know it’s my fault for not knowing when it ended), but BMP did not email, call or try to renew the policy. When I got a threat directly from the company, I called BMP to change the credit card associated with my account, but they didn’t call me back… EVER! So I had to call the insurance company directly.
They were super unprofessional and I have since stopped using them.

Incredible service from these agents! I’ve had insurance through BMP (Safe Auto) for about 2 years now and I am so pleased with their services. My insurance agent is Oscar Mora (who I HIGHLY recommend) and today I was helped by Rafael, who took my father’s credit card information over the phone to pay for my 6 month policy. Rafael called him up and once it was paid, sent me a receipt immediately. I have been meaning to write a review for some time now! Oscar Mora and Rafael are like friends, they are happy to help and talk about anything to do with insurance or my everyday antics. I will continue to do business with them for as long as I’m driving. They find you the best deal with every possible discount. Thank you so much for everything you do!

This company doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I used them for over 5 years and it is a Hassel to do anything with them. It’s hard to change cars or policys, and they aren’t even the cheapest. Then when I finally took the time to fill out everything they wanted to cancel my policy, they never subit it to the insurance, that the policy is with. So I got charged every month as if I still had the policy. I didn’t notice for 3 months because it was auto payed. Then when I found out I called them and they said they need copies of my new policy and more paperwork to verify. So I spend more time to do everything they want, and the insurance sends me back 45 dollars for stopping the insurance for this month. not starting 3 months ago. So now I’m over 500 dollars into paying a insurance I don’t want and still don’t know when and if I will get my money back.

Never thought to use a broker before Oscar Mora, he got me a far better deal than I can on my own in half the time and effort,
I shudder to imagine how much time and money I could have saved.
Other reviews on this page make me think that BMP knows how to hire and keep their agents, bravo, Next is business insurance, then home, and pets? :)

I have been using this insurance company for some time now and would recommend it highly to anyone. Their customer service is wonderful and attention to detail is amazing. I needed a particular issue taken care of right away and they had no problem solving and expediting the paperwork. Great company!

BMP Insurance is as professional and as convenient as it gets in insurance services. When I first spoke with an agent in January, she was very informative and took her time to accurately answer each of my questions and to find me the best policy. BMP was able to find me coverage for my vehicle for about $ 60 a month, and this policy fell even lower to about $ 45.
A few months ago, I even had a light accident, and everything was taken care of with no problems at all. I recommend BMP to all my family and friends and if you are reading this review, I hope you give them a call!

I got my license/​first car in 2010 and did some searching around online but was scrambling to find insurance before I picked my car up. I found BMP online and gave them a call: the best move I’d made!
Keyon (an agent there at the time) was super helpful, honest, responsive and reliable. He talked me through the entire process that was all new to me and made me feel very comfortable. He called me back when he said he would and got everything processed speedily.
When it came time to renew I dealt with Julia and Rachel who were both superb in their customer service and finding me the best possible policy. Their communication was outstanding and the system they have going over there is very efficient and pain-​free. BMP only hires people who are extremely personable and actually mean what they say and say what they mean which is a extremely hard to find, especially in this sort of industry.
For anyone looking to get an auto policy and the best rate I cannot recommend BMP enough. I’ve been with them happily for 5 years and wouldn’t consider anywhere else. They’ve got a great reputation for a reason and it’s nice to write such a favorable review of a company because they deserve it!

My agent Oscar was absolutely fabulous! He answered all of my questions thoroughly. It was truly a pleasure getting my quote. Oscar went above and beyond! He even suggested I wait a day to ensure the best possible rate– unheard of! I shopped around and I must say that not only am I extremely pleased with my automobile insurance rate, I now have an insurance agent that I can actually say I feel confident about… dare I say– one that I feel I can trust. No joke, I wasn’t oversold– honesty all the way! I am really glad I found BMP and returned Oscar’ Mora’s email: I’m paying less, have a great policy and it was fast, easy, convenient and pleasant!

I’ve been with BMP since 2008 and I can’t recommend a service more then them. I wish all the services I deal with are so quick and easy to work with as they are so I’m writing this long-​overdue review.
I’m kind of high maintenance with our cars, home and people on our policy so they’re attention to this client is extremely appreciated by me. I’m too busy to deal with new agents learning on the job. But at BMP, they’re well trained, organized, very experienced & explain things very well. Rachel quickly emailed my Wife her last years insurance policy so she wouldn’t have to pay import taxes on her car she shipped to the UK. Jessica even exceeded my expectations with a Thank you card. Also, Danielle who walked me through over the phone how to remove a vehicle from my policy online. I got unsolicited ideas to save me even more money then I already have saved since using BMP. Thanks to all my past agents including my current agent, Oscar Mora (You’re awesome, Dude). An old agent (Keyon) somehow reinstated my great insurance policy I thought I was going to lose due to non-​payment and my old, old agent Ben Pappas who I think runs the show over there, was the 1^st to impress me with how much I was overpaying with my AAA Car insurance back-​in-​the-​day (and I thought I was giving up a great policy with AAA; also for non-​payment; turned out not paying was a blessing in disguise).
Well, that’s all I have in my notes over the years (don’t think I have this great a memory) but the most amazing thing is that I’ve never, ever stepped foot into their office or met with any of them in-​person. I live way too far away in Walnut, CA.
I only wish I knew about BMP sooner. Stop wasting time and call ‘em.

You know, I was a huge advocate for these people. They were really helpful when I first signed with them roughly a year ago. Julia was super sweet and everyone seemed on board. But as of the last month, their customer service has REALLY gone downhill.
I’ve called several times, left several messages and was assure multiple times that someone would call me back or get back to me for my insurance payment. And every time? Nothing. I was on hold for half an hour at one point before I gave up.
This is ridiculous.

At first, everything seems fine. My sister and I are in the policy together and I am the main policy holder. I called BMP Insurance to ask if I can be taken off of the policy since I am not going to be driving for a couple of months thinking that my monthly rate will go down.
The insurance agent said that he will call me back as he doesn’t know if he can do that or not. So he called Safeco (the insurance provider) and called me back. When he called me back, basically he informed me that I was officially off the policy and the policy rate will go up. He did all that without my approval whatsoever.
Now, I need a new policy and they haven’t been helpful either. No body calls me to follow up or anything like that. Basically, I am dropped after they increase my insurance policy.
Overall, absolutely appalled by this gentlemen’s ability to handle a simple situation. Save yourself some time and skip BMP Insurance. Don’t waste your time like how I wasted mine. I will be looking at another insurance agent.

This morning, I found out my policy had been cancelled due to nonpayment. Granted, this was my bad (another family member was responsible for getting it paid, even though it was under my name) however, they never mailed, emailed, or called me about the lapses in payment.
I’ve been driving with no insurance for two weeks and had to find out via a notice from the DMV that my registration was pending suspension. I’m currently in the process of getting quotes from other agencies and will be filing in small claims to recover the amount I had to pay down to reinstate the policy with Safeco. CVC 633. c Requires notification of intent to terminate an auto insurance policy that meets requirements for coverage — which they failed to do.
I STRONGLY advise you read the negative reviews and consider them — it’s 100% true. They never contact you with any concerns once they’ve sold you the policy.
