Stopped by after lunch, very good quality clothing, shoes, and socks! A little pricy, but what good fashion isn’t? The staff, including Julie are first class. They have insure tailoring and get this, you can get a haircut while you wait on your pants. Definitely a fan and customer.

I stop by this place and ask for the price of a jacket and it was over 2000 dollars so its obvious that is not for the average joe, however, the service was great and the stuff very very friendly.

Bobby and the guys take great care of me every time I go there. The sizes are all european so you will need their help finding things that fit, which is a good thing for me. My own sense of taste seems to just annoy my wife. But so far, anything they pick out for me is a hit with the wife. So here I am, getting a little something to look sharp on Mother’s Day and wouldn’t do it without them. Last time it was for the Grammy’s and they really did come through on that outfit!

I went in here a few times when I was shopping for a sport coat. The staff are great. They’re not commissioned, so no pressure to buy. They’re also very knowledgeable. I didn’t really know anything about men’s clothing going in here and they were very patient with me and I learned a lot.
They also offer some services like hair stylist, fashion consultant, and on-​site tailor upstairs, but I didn’t try either of these.

First off — I am not «Mr. GQ» but I like nice clothes and when I don’t have a girlfriend helping to dress me I have a tendency to fall back into the New York — jeans, leather jacket and black shirt thing as I think it looks pretty cool — but then again — sometimes I still eat Count Chocula for breakfast so … Seriously, «Style» is another way to express yourself rather than having your friends take out ads in Variety telling you how great you are and the folks at Alandale’s have been a godsend in that respect. Yes, it is expensive but it is certainly less expensive than the aforementioned Variety ads. Hey, I LOVE cool creative socks and the first time I checked out the store I had my eye on an artistic European design pair but when I was told they were $ 30.00 my interest waned a bit ’cause it seemed a bit too extravagant for me. But when my salesperson Stan philosophiclaly told me that when you think about it — they were only $ 15.00 a foot — I laughed as he had put things in perspective and I bought 2 pair because sometimes you have to treat yourself — and I liked his easy-​going and honest approach. They treat you like a king but most importantly they address you with respect and they are honest. For example, if you are still trying to pull off a size 32 jeans when you KNOW you are a 34 — they don’t become your co-​dependent «How does my Ass Look in These Jeans» colleague. They also have a «Privilege Club» where with a $ 100 annual fee you get a special reduced price on everything which if you shop twice a year pays for itself. Sure, they sell suits to the schmucks who work in the studios whose only independent thought for a day is in the selection of their tie but they have a GREAT selection of business casual clothes as well as weekend casual attire which makes you feel like you should — after working so hard trying to convince those schmucks to buy your programs. (Okay, they are not schmucks as I am only kidding but the suit thing seems like a uniform and I think it stifles creativity.) They seem to really care about how you look in their clothes, they listen to what you want and they treat ALL customers equally. They have been in business since 1968 and as such they are part of the city’s cultural landscape and if you really want to treat yourself — go in — meet the guys — they won’t pressure you — and before you know it — you will find some uniquely cool shirt that fits «just right» and some days — that’s all you get — but that’s okay ’cause the smile when you leave is priceless.
