Specialties
Adopt & Shop is truly a one-stop pet adoption and shopping experience. We are the only non-profit pet retailer in California that offers pet adoption, dog daycare, grooming, dog training, and a complete line of quality and unique products to support happy and healthy pets.
History
Established in 2011.
Found Animals’ Adopt & Shop was launched in support of a single belief: all pets deserve a home. We are a community of humane adoption and retail centers, staffed by passionate volunteers and store associates who help make sure every pet has a safe haven.
Since our adoptable dogs and cats come from local shelters, every adoption saves the life of an at-risk animal. Our experienced store associates are here to support families in creating happy and healthy homes for their pets, even after they bring their new family member home.
Our goal is to provide customers with the unique resources and products they need to keep their pets happy and healthy. We have pets, and we talk to lots of people who have pets. So if we sell a product, it means we love it, and we think our customers and their pets will, too. Best of all, proceeds from Adopt & Shop sales are donated to programs that support the happiness and safety of the animals in our homes, shelters and everywhere in between.
Meet the Business Owner
Found Animals F.
Business Owner
Found Animals is a privately-funded nonprofit dedicated to reversing the outcome for the three to four million animals euthanized each year in the United States. We work alongside the animal well-being community to achieve one goal: find the big ideas that advance the safety of animals in our homes, our shelters, and everywhere in between.
Our primary mission is the happiness and safety of animals. From microchips and registration, to responsible adoption initiatives and low-cost spay and neuter, we are committed to delivering practical solutions that will ensure the health and safety of dogs and cats everywhere.
Support for Found Animals and its initiatives comes from the generous contributions of Dr. Gary Michelson and Alya Michelson.
At Found Animals, we’re on the animal’s side.
