Established in 1977.
Began as the Culpeper Cavalry Museum in 1977 — became the Museum of Culpeper History in c2000 when it moved to a larger facility and broadened its mission.

Lee is the Executive Director and only full-time paid staffer at the Museum. She has 40 years experience in the museum field.
