We have a very experienced and trustworthy staff. Our employees tenure ranges between 5 – 25 years of faithful service. And, we have no less than 5 state vehicle inspectors to ensure that we are always ready when you are.

Our shop is equipped with the latest technology, and we always stay up to date with new developments in our profession. We are an official installer of Jasper transmissions and products.

History

Established in 1985.

R.L. Gilmore, Jr. started in the gas station business in 1955 in Culpeper, Va. In 1981 he expanded the business to include his three sons and went to two locations. In 1985 the company moved to one location and expanded the operation to include towing and Budget truck rental. In 2006 the company got out of the gas business completely to focus on auto repair and towing. The company is currently owned by two sons and a partner. They are Chuck and Alan Gilmore and Vernon Bunch. Today the business has a seven bay shop with 7 technicians and three sevice writers. We offer a full range of auto and light truck repair, including Va state inspections, towing and Budget truck rental.

This a family owned business that has been doing auto repair in Culpeper since 1955. My father started the business in 1955 and we have continued to provide service to the people of Culpeper and surrounding counties.
