I am very confused about the other reviewers because I had nothing but above-par, pro-active help at this facility. I called on behalf of a friend for help at first. A week later to follow-up and the receptionist remembered me by name even though I wasn’t the patient, took time to answer all my questions and offer options for payment and follow-up even though my friend didn’t have the type of Medicaid they take(yes, they take Medicaid – try finding that in Southwest Virginia – even if you have insurance it can be a 5 month wait). For me they made an appointment for less than twenty days, then when they had a cancellation, offered an earlier appointment. The doctor came out within literally 3 minutes of me being there, told me to never mind filling out the forms just yet – to come on back so he could start the consultation. I have been a psychiatric patient for over a decade and I have never had such kind, pro-active, professional help.

No no no. Do not go here. My husband is a patient here, and has nothing but horrible service. They usually schedule him for 9AM, and when he gets there they aren’t even open yet. Our latest experience was simply trying to get him prescriptions refilled. My husband’s doctor was out of town, so we called to have another doctor refill them for us. They said they were only able to refill one of the many medicines he takes unless the pharmacy faxed them a refill request. Although that seems a little absurd, we did as instructed. Then I went to pick up the scripts that Friday on my day off. Although they knew I was coming, the scripts weren’t ready. Had to wait 20 minutes with anxious kids for a nurse to come downstairs and write me the scripts. She gave me the same line about the pharmacy needing to fax the request, but was able to fill the one for us. My husband went to the pharmacy later that they, and they told him they had sent in the request. He tried to get the one script he had filled, but the nurse had failed to fill it out properly! They were at that point closed, so he called and left them a voicemail. Never heard anything. I called around 10AM this morning. Had to call three times to get someone to pick up. I was told the nurse would look into it and call me back. 12PM roles around. I call again and was told she was in a meeting but that she would call me within the hour(is there really only one nurse on call???). 2PM, still no call. I call again. Was told she would call me shortly. It is 2:45 and still no call. My husband is out of his medication, and they could care less. This is the worst run office I have ever experienced, and they aren’t even my doctor! I’ve heard the Gainesville office is nice, so if you want to see Dr. Rabbi, GOTHERE. The Culpeper location is a joke.

I would avoid at all cost. The Culpepper office staff seems very unorganized and unprofessional. I had high hopes when first going there but that dream was quickly shattered after a few dealings with the office staff. The Doctors there seem nice but dealing with with anyone other than a Doctor is just more work than it needs to be. The only exception to the office staff is the receptionist in the Gainesville Office. They would do well to clone her.
