Established in 2009.

Mary Zientek started Back to Basics Cleaning after working for 7 years in the administrative field and finding the work unfulfilling. Always having a passion for organization and cleaning, starting a cleaning business seemed like a smart fit. After researching many aspects of the business, Mary made the decision to use only non-​toxic and chemical free cleaners for the safety of her customers, employees, and for the overall benefits of the future of the Earth. The company has grown substantially over the years, but Mary has made sure that the quality of the work is never sacrificed due to the growth.

Mary grew up on her family’s dairy farm in a small town in WNY. She has a degree in Business Administration from SUNY Empire. After having worked in an administrative position for several years she made the decision to follow the path of entrepreneurship that runs throughout her family. Mary still resides in the town that she grew up in, with her son.
