History

Established in 1974.

In 1974 John Huckabee and his family opened A-​1 Muffler & Brake with the primary focus on mufflers, brakes and undercar components at 1260 N. Truman Blvd in Crystal City, MO. It was 3 bay shop back then and today it is a 5 bay shop with 4 lifts outside, for handling all auto and truck repair including schools bus and rv repair. Scott Huckabee is now the owner and along the way the name changed to A-​1 Truck & Auto to better represent the full service repair shop that it has evolved into through the years. 42 years in the same location is a pretty sure bet that A-​1 is here to stay!
