When you have the option of going kosher or non kosher for burgers, it is super tough to rate a kosher one to the standard of non kosher. Guess what? Boeuf & Bun ISEVERYTHING a burger joint should be! Boeuf & Bun is this hip and rustic artisanal joint, serving 100% fabulous burgers and awesome apps to go with that. One thing that separates them from the average joint is how they start your meal. They serve you deliciously spiced popcorn while you wait for you food. It’s adorable. Such an amazing experience was had last night. Starting with our waiter being so nice and friendly and helping us choose what to put in my starving tummy. We ordered a bunch of apps i.e. the crispy chicken fingers, beef chili fries, pulled beef tacos. OMG, those beef chili fries! Whoever came up with that idea is God! Especially with that egg on top. Really, so flavorful and spicy. I was so full and still going at them as if they were going out of style. The pulled beef tacos were phenomenal. The beef was soft and so tasty,(I can literally taste it in my mouth right now). amazing pico de gallo. I ordered The New Yorker as my burger and that name says it all. Everything a New Yorker loves. Navel pastrami, white cabbage slaw, pickles, medium rare burger. Just yum. I wasn’t a huge fan of the bun but I’m never into buns like that. I also ordered the Sangria, and can I just say, that was one of the best sangrias I have ever ever had! The alcohol to fruit ratio was so perfect. For dessert we ordered the deconstructed peanut butter S’mores. I liked it – But I can also live without it. Overall, from start to finish was so pleasant and so much fun. Every bite was just top notch.

I’d say the service was bad but it didn’t even exist enough to be bad. The people behind the counter literally just ignored me while I stared at them for like ten minutes with not so much as an acknowledgment or a «We’ll be right with you» before I got fed up and left.

For starters once we were seated it took someone at least 10min to come to the table and that was just because I had to stop the server before he went to a table that came in AFTER we did. It then took TWOSANDWICHES more then 20+minutes even though tables that came AFTER received MULTIPLE plates. At no point did anyone check on us and it took me having to stop yet another server for us to get a second round of drinks. All other guests we checked yet our tables was walked past several times. That automatic 15% grat. definitely not deserving for lack of service or any service there of. Overpriced never coming again.

I came in for lunch on a rainy weekday afternoon. It was quiet, peaceful, and there were only 3 tables occupied in the place, including my own. The chairs are a bit small; if you’re offering fressers ad gluttons delectable fries with mayonnaise, homemade smores desserts, burgers, and wings, come on and use your sechel. You’re gonna need some bigger chairs to accommodate the tuchesen of us connoisseurs of your delectable offerings. To begin, I love the bottle of water that comes to the table. It keeps the water cold, and it keeps you hydrated without having to keep pestering the waiter for more. The waiter was very nice. I can tell he was an out of towner, but I couldn’t tell whether he was a Hasid or a Hipster with his beard that puts mine to shame. The food was excellent. The wings were crispy and covered in scallions, a sweet bbq sauce, and were accompanied by a great ranch sauce that tasted more like a parve blue cheese than a ranch. I really enjoyed that. The truffle fries were among the best I’ve ever had anywhere, and the aioli that accompanied was spectacular and the perfect Continental accompaniment to these most elegant fries. The barbecue sandwich was superb. Tender as could be, the sauce was flavorful, and the red cabbage slaw on top was the bomb. The waiter recommended the wings over the fried pickles(I was waffling between the two) and he was kind enough to have the kitchen include some atop the sandwich, They were delicious sour pickles perfectly breaded and fried crispy, and next time, I’d order those as a side dish. The sandwich was huge and I could only eat half, and the price was a great bargain for lunch, only $ 20 for the burger, a huge order of fries, and a can of soda.

Jam packed Sunday evening to the extant that we had a crowd of people standing over us as they waited to be seated.(We asked to be moved but the other table available was reserved for someone with a child). The door was kept open due to the number of people so the metal chairs were freezing to sit on. The staff was pleasant and stayed cool under the stampede. Calmly reiterating to the masses that they were going down the list and would phone them when their table was available. Strict adherence to the list. Recommendations: Go at off hours. Do not order the Down South unless you like really, really like sickly sweet burgers. The Morning Scramble is what they are known for so really, just order that. More of a classic. If you like it hot, get the Poppers!

Delicious food! If you want something different and not the same boring sandwiches and subs, you’ve got the right place. Beware of wait in prime time. Waited for a table 20 minutes but it was worth the wait! Also took a while for the food to come out. Décor is rustic. Very nice experience!

Food was good but the Service was ehh. We Never got plates, water refills, napkins. Had to ask them repeatedly for things and they never came. It was quite upsetting. They are so understaffed that they can not accommodate their patrons. Not once did they check on us to see if we needed anything. It’s a shame because I might have given the place a 4⁄5 had it been perfect but they flopped big time.

I ordered the NY burger(with slaw and pastrami), and it was excellently cooked. The free popcorn when you come in is great, and I even got a free refill. I also had the wings which were great also. The beer selection is good as well, though it was disappointing that they were all in bottles. The services was a bit slow, and I thought our server was somewhat rude. Overall, it was a great meal, and I’d certainly come again.

After having heard so much about this place, I finally had a meal here a couple of weeks ago. I had the beef chili fries. Maybe it was all a misunderstanding. This place being called«boeuf» and all, I thought the dish would contain beef. No such thing to be found in my plate. Huge plate full of french fries with some kind of beef SAUCE and a couple of beans. I should have ordered the bun, err the burger. I hear it’s good. Great décor and ambiance though.

If I could, I’d give this place 3.5 stars. Friends I ate with say 4 so I’ll round up. We had the New Yorker burger. Cooked right at medium as requested and a good portion size(though I would’ve liked a little more pastrami). We also had the wings; they’re just okay. The sauce is cloyingly sweet and they are pretty small. We also tried the pulled beef puffy tacos. Very tasty, but I’d expect a bigger portion for the price. Then again, it’s kosher food so it’s always overpriced. Great spot if you keep kosher, but there are better burger options if you don’t. Lastly, service was polite, but slow.

Hamburger heaven. I had the morning scramble burger, a juicy medium rare patty decadently topped with a sunny side up egg, cured beef bacon and mini potato crisps(I guess they are supposed to be hash browns.) Absolute decadence. Paired with their garlic fries(served with a white truffle aoli.) Absolutely amazing. Half an hour later it still tastes like there is a party in my mouth. I wish they had burgers like this in Houston

Food is very good but the service is outstanding. I had the burger with the scrambled eggs and it was great and is really fit for two people. The fries were good but a bit too salty for my taste. The portion of fries were huge as well. Presentation was top notch as well.

The best kosher burger!!! Something new in the Kosher world. Burgers!!! Big, juicy and tasty… A beautiful place. The wait wasn’t too long, even though the placed was packed. Went there once, twice… And will definitely go back when I break my diet ;-) Enjoy!!!

Let me start off by saying that The service here is okay. My server was busy servicing mine and two other tables. The ambiance is nice with modern wood paneling, hardwood tables, and good lighting. Aside for that everything else left much to be desired. The chairs are extremely uncomfortable. When I sat down I was served a small tin of popcorn which I could have done without since it looked and tasted stale. I ordered the morning scramble and the onion rings. The burger looked very nice, and came with a sliver of a pickle(it was really tiny). The burger was large and would have tasted good had it not been so super-salty. Honestly the burger was awful. It was so salty I couldn’t eat it. I ordered beer battered onion rings but regretted it when they arrived. The outsides of the rings were really oily and the onion itself was left virtually uncooked. Disgusting. This is the most hyped, over-rated Kosher restaurant. I like to tip extra with cash aside for the mandatory tip that comes on the bill and did so this time as well. Alas, Barf and Bun even managed to disappoint in this matter as well. When I looked at my receipt as I was leaving I noticed an extra hidden 15% service charge on the entire bill! This place deserves zero stars. I won’t be returning.

WOW! This restaurant has such delicious burgers — It was about time something like this came to brooklyn– Though its in crown heights its still far but worth the drive. The restaurant itself is very trendy and gives off a casual vibe. The place is a strictly burger joint. The staff is very friendly as well. I would recommend The regular classic boeuf burger or the pulled bbq beef burger which was prettier delicious as well. The truffle fries are amazing! you must get them — try the fried pickles as well.

Outstanding. I was coming home and your establishment was finally open. I wanted something different. I went in and was very impressed. I was greeted by a very nice young lady who help me make my selection. I had to step out for a moment, when I came back, my food was ready. The exterior is a has a very trendy atmosphere which is great for the neighborhood. I finally got home, and dug into my food, amazing is what came to my mind. I will be going to try something different on their menu. WELCOMETOTHENEIGHBORHOOD!

Wandered in just before 7PM, and was able to get a seat at the counter. By the time I finished and turned around, the place was packed with standing room hardly available, people waiting to be seated. I haven’t had everything on the menu so I will comment only on those I tried. The morning scramble burger is a meal in itself, and enough protein, that you won’t walk out hungry. Delicious! The hand cut truffle fries are absolutely generous in size, and could probably satisfy two. The truffle aioli makes it totally unique. A must order! The sleeper is the Pulled beef puffy tacos. Out of this world! And the B&B wings are quite noteworthy too. Subtle sweetness and heat. The ambiance is lovely, the waiters attentive, the service on time. Ya’ gotta go!
