Van Wyck Wine & Liquor

Great liquor store. I love the selection of wines and they are laid out by type and region. The prices are very good and the owner and her aisle helpers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Plus, price the spirits and cordials and they are a good deal.

Great wine selection, reasonably priced. I’m a vodka drinker, and their prices for the hard stuff are very competitive for the area. Service is always with a smile ! Only downer; that parking lot. What a pain.

On my continued journey for another bottle or two of swill for our nascent wine cellar, I decided to go into this liquor shop, truth be told, as I get my nails done next door and you never know until you try, right?
With its price posters plastering the front and really no artistic angles catching my eye, it was no wonder I had never gone into it previously. Van Wyck Liquors is bare minimum charm-​wise. They have a fair selection. Nothing to shout about. It is cramped and pedestrian like the store needs to consume some of their offerings and loosen up a bit! Basically I did not feel the love of product. It was just a business and could have been anything.
The two ladies who were at the counter were very nice and polite and I did end up buying two bottles since I like to spread the love but with so many other boutiques and wine shoppes around I don’t think I would seek them out even if they are next door to somewhere I go quite often. :(
