The Feed Store is your Southern Farm and Garden Supply. We have the largest selection of bulk landscape materials in the area. We provide a wide array of feed products for most everything that eats. The Feed Store carries all your needs for planting a lawn: seed, fertilizers, lime, chemicals and tools. The garden department is well supplied with bedding plants, flowers, stakes and soils. We also carry utility trailers, steel and plastic culverts, dog pens, fencing supplies, landscape borders and stepping stones. Honey bee supplies are also a large part of our offerings.

History

Established in 1986.

In 1986, working from his daddy’s barn sometimes until three in the morning, Michael Ingram began bagging grain and selling it to local farmers. Calling his business simply The Feed Store, he soon was able to purchase a piece of land closer to town where he set up a small hunting cabin as an office. His first warehouse was a tractor trailer, to which he added another, then another. That growth continued through the years as he added inventory and expertise, eventually leading to what the business has become today.

Today The Feed Store is no longer only a feed business, but a little bit of everything business. Michael was able to take his dream of owning «the best little feed store in town» and turn it into a place where people can shop for a wide variety of bulk landscape materials, utility trailers, bee supplies, garden seeds, bird feeds and feeders, and even home décor. We are proud to be called Your Southern Farm and Garden Center.
