Lucy is AMAZING!!! Her waxing skills are by far the best I’ve seen. Having recently moved here from AZ, I was concerned I would have a hard time finding someone as good as my girl in AZ. I got so much more with Lucy; I got way BETTER than I had! I get my eyebrows, nose and Brazilian from her and would highly recommend her to anyone else for these services.

It’s been two years since I got a real hair cut and I didn’t miss any of after Jess cut and styled it. I started with fairly simple instructions and somehow the end product was fabulous. She was friendly, professional, and efficient. The rates are EXTREMELY reasonable. I will definitely go back again.

This is my new fav spot to get my hair done by Jess. I have naturally curly hair and she had no problem getting the job done! She’s usually booked and at times out of town cuz she’s international with her bad self but she has an amazing website you can book your appointments on called Schedulicity.Com.It’s convenient and easy to use. She gave me a new look and took me outside my comfort zone but believe me she has vision and knows what looks good so trust her~GO SEE JESS you won’t regret it!

There’s nobody like Jess. When I tell her what I want, she gets it. When I’m not sure what I want; I’m just bored and need a change, she gets it. I leave looking and feeling like a million bucks *every* time.

Just had a haircut with Jessica and it was amazing! The cut is so cute. Plus she’s really fast so that’s an added bonus. I will definitely be back!

Jesse is my saviour! I was finally was able to bid farewell to my lovely but far away stylist in the City when I found Crops & Bobbers in Crockett. Jesse is fierce, fabulous and friendly. She is everything awesome and not boring which is important for me. Best of all, SHE KNOWS HOW TO CUT CURLY HAIR! Like really curly hair. She does the cutest curly hair bobs, long or short. And her color skills are magnificent. From natural shades, to highlights, to crazy bleach-​outs and bright bright colors. We’ve done all of this. Oh gawd I am so grateful to have Jesse!

I’ve gone to Lucy for two years now for my wax and she is my first and only waxer. She helped me train and shape my eyebrows to perfection. Only person I will ever let put wax on me! Lol

I really enjoyed coming to Crops and Bobbers in Crockett. The décor is very quaint and cute and there is complimentary tea and coffee. I went for waxing by LucyG and the services I came for were eyebrows and bikini. I have been getting waxed by Lucy for over 2 years now and she absolutely amazing. She handles herself very professional and always a pleasure to be around. She is very patient, efficient, and really makes sure that when you leave that you are satisfied with your services. I highly recommend anyone going to Lucy to get waxed, you will not be disappointed.

First and foremost, Jess can cut hair!!! She listened to what I wanted, gave me suggestions, let me choose what I wanted and then she proceeded to give me the most fabulous cut! She’s so personable and fun to talk with that before I knew it, my hair cut and style was finished. I am so happy to support local businesses and this is one I will definitely return to! Thanks Jess for making my hair cutting experience positive and fun and low stress. See you again in a few months!

I booked an appointment online and was disappointed when I showed up and the shop was closed. I thought huh, thats unprofessional. A month later I got a reminder that my appointment was tomorrow! I had to call and cancel the appointment. Apparently I scheduled it on the right day but the wrong month. I was so bummed because I had already cut my hair and they have so many good reviews I was dying to try this place out. I was almost blushing when I made the phone call. I was pretty embarrassed. I left a message twice because I forgot the mention my name the first time. Added bonus, they did not charge me a late cancelation fee, which I am very grateful for. My first 5-​star review for a place that I technically have never been to… Great customer service.

Went in for a facial recently and ended up having a phenomenal facial, PLUS a brow tweeze AND walked out with some hand cream and lip cream that I swear already help! Ali is the best esthetician out there. No joke. She is relaxed, fun, open and really listens to what you need.
If you’ve never had one before OR if you’ve had a million, go check her out. She will make you feel good about yourself and you will be pampered.
Also had a cut and color with Jessica. Another magician. The cut is adorable and the color is great. Truly.

Although I have been coming to Crops and Bobbers for what feels like forever, I kept forgetting to write a review! (Eep!) Jess is always amazing, thoughtful and kind when she’s cutting my hair. She keeps my style in mind when making suggestions, she’s very attentive when I explain my regimen and gives me a style that works with my lifestyle! I’ve also noticed that she understands my extremely fine, mildly curly hair somehow and always cuts it in a way that makes it look fuller, longer and more voluminous. Yesterday I took a huge leap and decided I wanted to finally donate my hair and I couldn’t think of anyone else I would rather have with me during that process. Jess was patient with me while I explain my concerns of chopping my hair and then when the time came she did it swift like pulling off a bandaid and we laughed together as I held what used to be my hair in my hands. It was totally a life changing experience, haha. Lucky for me she had a vision for my newly chopped locks and I walked out of Crops and Bobbers feeling both beautiful and fulfilled. Seriously, if you’re considering checking out this shop, DO IT! Totally worth the drive to Crockett!

I’ve been so busy and failed to give KUDOs to Ali for working her talent on my face. I was sunburned from a rafting trip and didn’t think I would heal fast enough. However, after visiting Ali i was very sure that I was in the right hands. I did the Vitamin-​C treatment and it felt wonderful. I swear I was snoring but Ali was such a sweetheart that she didn’t wake me. haha (SORRY). Overall, if you are looking for someone who knows FACIAL, you must book an appointment to see Ali. She’s friendly, professional while making you feel at ease and she is brilliant.

I had the pleasure of having my hair highlighted at Crops and Bobbers this week. Jess is amazing! She is very fast and thoughtful with her work. Although this was my first time meeting her, I felt right at home in her chair and we chatted like old friends. I also must give her kudos because somehow I did not save my appointment time on Schedulicity (make sure you confirm with the orange button!) and she was able to accommodate me without ever knowing I was coming! She did this while simultaneously attending to her client that actually had an appointment. My hair turned out great (as did the hair of the appointment holder) and I will definitely be making the long drive from my house to visit her at Crops and Bobbers again soon.
Side note: there is another salon operating under this name in Oakland so be sure you are making your appointment in the right place.
I have also had the pleasure of working with the salons esthetician, Ali. She also does wonderful work, has an array of services (including but not limited to waxing, facials, tanning and other skin care) and makes you feel right at home.
I hear they are adding massage to the menu so I might have to make a special trip to check that out as well. I recommend this salon with complete confidence!

Today was my first visit to Crops & Bobbers & I can honestly say that I’ll be back.
Rhea was my hair stylist & she is so cool to talk to. She was fast but very efficient in getting the job done. My appointment was at 2PM & she was ready for me on time. Nothing worse than having an appointment & arriving early/​on time only to wait more. I mean, I just feel like what’s the use in taking appointments, right? So I was happy to hear she was finished with her client prior to me & all set to go. I told her what I wanted & showed her a picture & she went to work. I anticipated being there for a few hours but I was pleasantly surprised when we were done in 2 hours flat.
What I enjoyed about Rhea was she knew exactly what to do to achieve what I wanted & didn’t try to discourage me in my wishes. As I expressed to Rhea, in the past other hair stylist would tell me because my hair was so black, that lightening it would be a process & because of the texture of my hair it wouldn’t take the color. I’ve always wondered «hmmm, really?» Obviously I haven’t been going to the right people.
All in all, Crops & Bobbers is a cute little place (parking is kind of tough), price was reasonable & I am grateful to Rhea for giving this mother of 2, who can’t keep up with regular hair maintenance, LIFE! It always feels good to have a fresh head of hair.
P. S. A mother & son also came in while I was there & the owner was looking for a quieter pair of clippers to cut this boys hair. Turns out this boy is Autistic. I just thought how sweet of them to take his comfort level into consideration. It was so refreshing to know that some people still try to go above & beyond to take care of others.

95% One stop shop — just waiting for nails to be added… Love this place. Ali did a wonderful job on my facial… she is the only one that has come close to what my best friend has been able to do. Thank you Ali! Lucy is a phenom with waxing — I can’t tell you how I hate bikini waxing… she’s changed that for me — fast, efficient and not so painful… and Jess’s cut was to the point. Love the hair products she carries too.

Jess was recommended to me by a client of mine, and I couldn’t be happier! She was quick, didn’t doubt my desires, and both sides are perfectly even. I love how she did my layers too! I have curly/​wavy hair but that wasn’t a problem for her. She even straightened my hair at the end, allowing me to see the cut perfectly. Thank you Jess! I’ll have to post pics ;)

Really great job on haircuts by Jess and I had my nails done as well. Charlene (sp?) is really nice and I enjoyed chatting with her while watching Jess work magic on an entire family heading out to a wedding.
So glad there is another business I can shop at here in town. I really appreciate Jess’s business and look forward to my next visit (tomorrow in fact!). Really adds to living here in Crockett.

Jess cut my hair in Nov/​Dec of last year (can’t remember exactly!) and she is PHENOMENAL!!! First of all, I feared getting my haircut because its curly and I’ve had bad experiences and I suffer from alopecia so I was a bit freaked to let someone see my scalp. She was able to take me a few minutes early and I kid you not, cut my hair in under 15 minutes! By far THE BEST cut I’ve ever received and she did a dry cut (a first time experience for me). Her prices are super reasonable too!
She’s a great communicator, made sure she knew what I wanted before she started and asked questions. She’s super cool to talk to and has the cutest shop. Some stylists lie and say they can cut curls properly but not her. Do yourself a favor and let her hook you up if you’re looking for a new stylist. My search has ended!!!
